This has to be one of my favorite Mutants and stories, if not my favorite. What do you think of him? I loved adding all the extra details to this guy instead of just making him standing in place. The backpack was definitely a process but I'm so glad it worked out because I feel like it adds so much to the character. Like he's got the weight of the world on his shoulders. Make some more poppy playtime characters to go with huggy wuggy
You should make a mutant called the Player or the Guitarist. He plays a guitar made of bones on the street and he has a hat for donations. If you hear his music, you become tempted to toss a coin in the hat, but if you do, he steals your soul. Then you become his puppet and he will gut you and use your guts for new strings on his guitar (old stringed instruments used to use animal guts for stings)

Dude! That is Messed Up! It may be a fictional world, but I look at that sculpture and all I can think is "You poor bastard." Very ambitious build and you delivered in spades. I've enjoyed every build I've watched in this series. Never expected a gut punch like this.
I think a mutant called The Zookeeper would be pretty cool. Their whole “gimmick” is that they primarily hunt not humans, but animals, and every time they eat a new species, they can shapeshift into that creature. But every time they do, they lose a bit more of their human form, so they look like a chaotic mishmash of human and various animals. They only attack humans if they are either starving or said human gets between them and their prey.
Edit: Added the Zookeeper’s threat to humans.

I had a similar idea for a Zookeeper but a slightly different backstory. When The Entity attacked him his soul melded with those of his beloved animals turning him into an animal/human hybrid
that will be so f up. and what if he does hunt humans to try to get some his humanity back. and he's animalistic parts keep instinctively going for more animals so he must keep hunting or he'll loose himself completely

I think he might be my favorite. I loved the sound effects and the scattered papers behind him as well. I like the imperfection of the accessories.
This one is deeply unsettling and I love it. It's not just his age, it's the uncertainty, the possibility that someday.....I have this vague sense that his parents were both upset when he disappeared...but also a bit relieved.... He is absolutely amazing, the amount of detail is phenomenal. Each mutant you make just seems to get better and better.
There's a sadness to this one, a little more melancholic and wistful. Like he's just there, he doesn't want to be there, not like this. It's lonely and I think that's why it's so tragic.
So this is what happened to the paperboy from the Nes game.
At the end of the video I noticed you have a sign that says "I DK what 2 put Here" I'm curious if you wouldn't mind putting in a message for one of my favorite Vtuber Ironmouse. It just simply says "DONATE PLASMA." She has an autoimmune disease known as CIVD and she relies on plasma donations for her to be able to have a working immune system. There are many people out there that rely on it and the IDF Foundation helps them. I don't know it's a really cool idea and just something that you can keep in the background. It's up to you I'll keep watching regardless. I love watching you're sculpting videos it's like my ASMR. ❤
My favorite part was hearing the bike bell with no bell on the bike. Seriously l love all of your clay creation. Your are so kind and genuine. You make all of your clay creation with love. That's why l love watching your videos. It make me to want to try make my own clay creation. Thank you.

My last sculpture I donated to a charity that raised just under a thousand dollars for it.
It was seven and a half feet tall made of plywood. A Saint Michael Robot.
When it comes to balance, the base is everything. The more points of contact with the ground or base, the better.
My choice for the fantastic paperboy's ride would have been a tricycle, to hold the box, barrel, or bag of newspapers. Artists are individuals, therefore, all choices are likewise individual.

I remember you made a character that is the creator of the mutants, but how do they become one. like a tragic death or the souls are so corrupted they become one, or they meet the creator and make a deal with them?
The newspaper headlines are *chef's kiss* but yeah this whole series is my favorite. I know you need to do other stuff sometimes but the Hidden World characters are all fabulous
You nailed it. I haven't watched in a while. Been a long time sub and you're the reason I buy Folk Art paint. This one is my favorite, I like the bike and there being something the character goes along with. The story was great too, and sound effects

I am looking forward to another guide. I like idea the enity creating false guides you save people from mutants only to comeback and kill people the save. Some one else sougested the false guide under the name the deceiver Pontiac animals for false guide in led the scorpion jackal and crow (they are associated with betray) weasle rat snake hyena crocodile fox an coyote spider fox (they are associated. Deceit and trickery. And the black cat and raven (they are assisted with bad luck. I would also also suggest the tankui aka the Japanese raccoon because they are asccotied with trickery. In Japanese mythogly the tankuin can transform. Perhaps the tanuki false guide uses his power to imite the real guides
But what about a fallen guide? Someone who used to be a guide, but they lost his or her pure heart and turned into a mutant. Maybe the associated animal could be something like the pigeon since people used to really like them and they are very clean animals but now people think of them as dirty sky rats.

Your best make yet! I love how he's too big for his bike...as if he outgrew it, but maybe the entity shrunk it or it just occupies less space in this in-between space where the Paperboy lurks. I do think ginger hair might have been my choice to make him even more creepy.

Wait wait- The entity got so embarrassed they transformed/started to transform the wrong guy they just dipped??? Thats- a seemingly all powerful being deals with making a mistake by making an escape- Thats hilarious (horrible for the paperboy but... hilarious)

I wanna believe that maybe the person that was almost turned into a mutant, but was "saved" by Sylvester's clumsiness, might have been Samson. Ace says only the Anti-Mutants have the power to kill Mutants, but Samson also apparently has the power, yet he's a Guide. In the "Cameraman" video, someone comments this, and he states he purposely released that Anti-Mutant video when he did and that there was "more to Samson's story than has been revealed," so we might be getting more Samson or general Guide lore. I wonder if this person before Sylvester, who I'm now headcannoning as Samson, somehow got the powers of an Anti-Mutant due to experiencing a partial Mutant transformation and thus being semi-afflicted by the Entity's chaotic magic, but became a Guide for hypothetically trying to save Sylvester as the Entity was now targeting him. This sudden act of good will, mixed with the Entity's dark magic influence still within him, could have given him powers beyond that of a normal Guide or Mutant, almost like a Hybrid of sorts, and being a foil to the Paperboy as another person "in between" forms. Just my theory lol, if any part of this ends up being canon, I'm sure Ace will have a much more concrete explanation for it.

I work from my visions, even when I do a sketch the final piece most likely will not resemble the original sketch.
Oh, the Paperboy is fascinating!! It's hard to beat Alfred, but I really love his concept!
There's something interesting about fact that the mutants are stripped entirely of a sense of identity, except for the title of their profession. The only humanity they have left is what they gave to other people. Entity confirmed as the dehumanizing force of capitalism??? LOL probably not. :P Besides, the Red Lady doesn't fit that pattern. Still gonna sit here in my fandom-analysis hat as these mutants come out, looking for patterns!

I learned a few things, so thank you so much for generously sharing your tips, tricks, and especially, for showing us the way you work, explaining why you do certain things, and letting us watch you make mistakes, and salvage you piece with a bit of ingenuity. I would think this was beyond my capabilities, but I feel like I might have grown a few more brain cells in the last few minutes.

Anthony you are blowing my mind! This is freaking amazing!!! Your stories and sculpts are getting better and better! Now I lean more towards teh guides but this guy was totally a creap-fest! Love the design! However, although I like the commentary when you’re discussing your steps & the process but the character stories not so much. Tbh each story sounds the same, the same themes, verbiage, & language used in every “story”

Your bicycle reminds me of a penny farthing bicycle but with a much smaller front wheel. The real penny farthing bicycles seem too ridiculous to be real or functional but they were real lol 😂 I like that you went for a more unique style of bicycle instead of just making a standard/modern style bicycle, it helps make the character design unique 😉

This paperboy seems to be the equivalent of an NPC in your mutant world, based on how you described him. Every game needs a few NPCs now and then.

He reminds me a lot of Lumpi von Schlotterstein (or Lumpi der Starke) because he became a vampire as a teenager, and will never get rid of his teenagedom.
SUGGESTION: maybe you should make the entity himself one time
What if u could make a character called The Magician basically my idea is that he was a famous magician during the 30s later he would steal money because he couldn't afford to pay his rent only for the nightmare world to consume his soul as a punishment and now he is doomed to preform for eternity
I would love to see these stories that accompany these figures put into a graphic novel. It would be a great accompaniment.
