Many thanks for this, Marcus. The only thing I knew about Capt Britain was his role in Remender's X-Force omnibus. Currently, Capt Britain and Excalibur omnis are very expensive. I also really enjoy these Who Is episodes (especially Dredd), so keep them coming 👍🏼.
Enjoyed the video been a fan of Captain Britain for a long time. Each time Merlin revives Brian Braddock/Captain Britain has needed the suit or amulet less now his powers are based on his confidence a bit like Gladiator. Would like to see you do a more in depth video on Captain Britain, Meggan and the whole Braddock family. Please keep making good videos.

Great video Dogg! The only thing I remember Captain Britain from is the Rememder Uncanny X-Force stuff, and he's in it very minimally really. So this was really helpful. I'll definitely be picking up the reprint of the omni whenever that's available! I'm still waiting for my copy of Excalibur to show up. It's moving away from your British theme a bit, but for a character that might be good to do for this series... I was thinking maybe Spawn. My thinking there is that I feel like he's one of those characters that everyone knows of because he looks cool (and maybe they've seen the old 90s film if they are old enough)... But maybe not a of people have much to go on beyond his image (no pun intended, honest :P) so a bit of a deeper look at his actual character might be welcome. That's assuming there is much more to his character of course... I've not read much Spawn! But figured if he's been going strong for 300+ issues now, there must be some kind of character depth there!

But that just adds to the fun! And I ordered my Excalibur omni from Amazon UK. I imagine they will cancel the order at some point like they did with my Absolute Swamp Thing. I'm not gonna be as gutted about this one though, I can be patient. I likely won't read it any time soon! And I'm glad to hear you're not ready to give up on this video series just yet! Perhaps most people know the characters so don't bother checking it out... Whereas for the few of us that don't, these are extremely useful! Plus their value is more long term, their usefulness won't expire like it might with something more current like Whale Watch (which is extremely useful at the time but will become less useful the more time goes by... and that's not a knock against Whale Watch, you know we all love that one!)
Would love a Marvel UK episode. Marvel UK was awesome - I got into 'proper comics' purely through the strip in Doctor Who Magazine (formerly Doctor Who Monthly/Doctor Who Weekly); but there were plenty of other excellent Marvel UK titles, such as Action Force, Transformers, Thundercats, Zoids (someone needs to reprint a collection of the Zoids strip), and so on. I particularly enjoyed when Doctor Who would (occasionally) cross over into other Marvel strips, such as when the 7th Doctor shrinks Death's Head (who'd previously been featured in Transformers) from Autobot-size to human-size, using the Master's Tissue Compression Eliminator weapon - and then ended up bouncing him back through time to the roof of The Baxter Building. Marvel UK *technically* still exists, as part of Pannini, who continue to publish Doctor Who Magazine, as well as handle UK reprints of various Marvel properties.

I do have a faint memory of having found once from the city library a graphic novel omnibus of Captain Britain, and it was a story line what I actually liked. It had this looming threat of a godlike mutant to awaken and destroying the universe. In my opinion the best part of that storyline was at the end the epic battle between this godlike mutant and "an organic sentinel" (using loosely "sentinel" to describe the thing, since it was basically organic machine programmed to kill every mutant it encounters, for what it does by upgrading itself by growing new organs for what it needs to destroy it's target).

I don’t want to spoil my reading by looking ahead thanks so much for your synopsis- years ago the omnibus was $400 and Alan Moore was the writer so as Moore is GOD in comics and talent I simply did not hesitate to purchase . I look forward to exploring his genius and the character- the market price is set high for a reason because dedicated collectors simply won’t part easily with thier Alan Moore wares :-)

It is a military formation, and rhymes with Core. The Green Lantern Core, aka Corps, or the United States Marine Corps. Like the marching chant that rhymes. One, Two, Three, Four. United States Marine Corps.

Captain Britain seems like a character with really cool and creative adventures, but who is honestly kind of boring in terms of his power set. Even his own sister is more well known because she's a ninja telepath with energy swords.
I’m currently reading that original captain Britain run and it’s pretty rough. It mainly monster of the week type stuff except for the long story arc crossover with captain America which is the highlight so far. Also no mention of otherworld until the hulk mag issues. Come on what is captain Britain without otherworld.

My style is quick. I can't change the way I speak unfortunately. For some reason as soon as I step in front of the camera, that's just my speed. Some people found it helpful putting it on 0.75 speed, but for me there's more than enough channels I have to watch on 1.5 speed that I'm comfortable with the way I speak :)
