Tell me about I had no idea Marvel movies could be like this and the trilogy is decent even though the 3rd is the weaker but I recommend the first two movies regardless
Great video. I am mostly familiar with Blade from the movies. I never had a huge exposure to comics when I was young but I can still appreciate the storytelling now as an adult. I am still unsure of the new Blade with Mahershala Ali. He is an absolutely terrific actor and although not old, has always conveyed a sense of wisdom and dignity. Snipes conveyed an impetuous and rebellious nature which felt natural. But as I said I had no pre-existing idea of the character.
It would be better if Morbius was the main antagonist in Blade 3 instead of Dracula. His origin would fit perfectly into the film and could bring a new kind of vampires - pseudo-vampires.
@@Supremmo that's actually the reason the main threat was genetically created vampires in Blade 2. Also Dracula as the villain for part3 was a good choice(he is the Joker to Blade's Batman), just was executed/casted wrong.
I really want to see Snipes to play the character again, this time in a Multiverse movie. That would be awesome and epic and maybe team up with his MCU Counterpart.

Blade is my favorite Marvel Anti-Hero. Everybody likes Deadpool, Wolverine or The Punisher but Blade is my favorite. Here's the other comic book first appearances of in my collection House Of Secrets #91 1971 the first appearance of The Swamp Thing The Amazing Spider-Man #129 1974 the first appearance of The Punisher The Incredible Hulk #180 & 181 the first appearance of Wolverine Saga Of The Swamp Thing #37 1985 the first appearance of John Constantine The New Mutants #98 1991 the first appearance of Deadpool The New Teen Annual #2 1983 the first appearance of The Vigilante
Blade is a favorite of mine as well. Although I also like Wolverine and Punisher, Blade still ranks high in my book. I do agree with you about Blade being underrated and being overshadowed by Wolverine, Punisher, and Deadpool.
Said every fan, for every recast movie, ever. Hell, even the first Batman movie had people up in arms over Michael Keaton. I believe it is best to reserve judgement on the actor until the movie is out. Also, fight scenes really come down to choreography, more on choreography than on the actors. If you don't like a fight scene, your main target should be choreographer. However, it should be noted that a bad actor will make bad choreography that much worse.
@@danielduncan6806 and seeing Michael Keaton play the main villain of *Spider-Man:Homecoming,* it's as if we're seeing the Dark Knight fight the webslinger
Wesley Snipes did a fantastic job bringing this character to life on the big screen. That is right up until part 3, but we all have an Ed Wood under our belts. The short-lived TV show wasn't that bad either. Unfortunately, now blade is in the hands of the Rat and this one's badass character is about to be disneyfied. Shame.
Blade and Punisher were my first introduction to the “Anti-Hero” and that was almost 20 yrs ago or so and they still make more sense than the supers. I have respect for Batman but I also respect most of his enemies too but that’s another story.
Actually, "Ruthless" overstates Blade's description, because ; I perceive, the Spirit of Vengeance part of The Ghost Rider as being the most ruthless hero in Marvel, you see Blade has better control of his actions and uses a serum as a blood substitute to keep his thirst for blood at bay, while the Spirit of Vengeance on the other hand is almost as difficult to control as was the Symbiotes because, the Spirit of Vengeance perceives any guilty party as being worth the souls to be condemned and anyone who saw "The Ghost Rider: The Spirit of Vengeance" film would know that this was the case when he tried to take the soul of the boy and his mother for their wrong doing and also he did not see that he was only blinded by his cause until he (and his host) was told later on that the boy was half-devil spawn. Never forget, that symbiotes are not the only ones that would often make humans their hosts; but at least, the Spirit of Vengeance don't try to kill the human host he pairs himself with from the inside, that is the only plus gained for him. Whatever Blade may have been like before his adult years, some of his behavior was hot tempered, and his actions in his adolescents was a combination of human hot bloodedness and testosterone that was being elevated by Vampiric-like adrenalin.
