All your videos are awesome. The only thing I would ask for is if you can wear the bags you review so we can see how it looks when wearing it. I feel like a lot of backpack reviewers don't do this enough when they review bags.
Can't wait to watch this after work. I have olive and black on the way but it's a long road to Canada via friends and family and will be awhile. Was planning to keep the black but that olive in your video is looking very, very tempting.

I cannot state enough how difficult it is to ensure proper delivery from secondary shippers. I think if they had come into Bozeman and the team there had done everything it would have for sure taken longer but assured QC. I’m assuming and giving MR the benefit of a doubt that their people on the coast are probably not holding up their end with the issues I’ve been seeing with these in the community. Side note: 21x anywhere was a bad choice. Epx400 or higher denier would have been sweet. Also weirdly like the different greens on the olive (harness vs x42)
Enjoyed the video. I purchased the black and the olive as well. My only complaint is the complete lack of velcro keepers for the straps that dangle EVERYWHERE. But, a few bucks on a roll of velcro tape, and it's right as rain.

I purchased all 4 colors and my box was the same size and it definitely was retaped during transit. It looked like it fell out of the back of the truck it was bad. So my orange bag I received my zipper was busted to the top lid. It was zipped up but the zipper teeth didn’t stay zipped if that makes sense then I tried to reverse the zipper and it broke off. Still trying to go through warranty and get it resolved. Loved the video after watching you pack it out I’m going to use some of your packing methods. If you used both inside pockets it’s a no go for the rest of the main compartment.
On the black one I really wish they would have used the X51 or the X50 Tactical material on the bottom of the pack. But, other than that, I am happy with the pack.
thats how my box came too. Trashed with 1/3 stickers, but 3 Unicorn postcard thingies. Bags we're okay, but looks like the postal service stuck some extra cardboard on it and taped it down.
My single bag delivery had a piece of cardboard taped in, I think to save you from yourself slicing the bag while opening the box. It was put into a comically "just under the right size" box though.
I was so tempted to get this but I'm thankful I didn't - it looks absolutely fantastic but the 22l capacity is way too small for any trips lasting more than a day. What more, I got the 22l Matador x Carryology collab (albeit it has almost no compartments compared to the Unicorn 2.0) so it wouldn't make sense to get another 22l. I got the CTB 26l in OD Green which just launched, so looking forward to that!

Great video! You really debunked all the comments "Can't fit my water bottle 32 oz"! I'm in the camp that your bottle should adjust to your bag, not vice versa. If water is so important to you and you use multiple packs, then have various sizes of bottles to adjust with your carry. Don't have a 32oz and then say the bag is a bad design. Okay, RANT OVER. I'll be in Puerto Rico for two weeks, beginning next week, and this will be my carry.
I think mine is staying packed up for return. Couple items, of course the side pockets are pretty useless with anything on the inside. Once you size up the yoke you can't nicely flop open the top like you did in the pack out. Overall it feels like less special/premium than the other three collabs and the Catalyst for $129 was a really good replacement. Biggest thing is my daughter would kill me if I kept the "Pegasus" with a picture of a 🦄 she's a huge my little pony fan and corrects me all the time on what character is which 😜
The insistence on S/M size yokes on these packs with no option to upsize will have me opting out on any future Mystery Ranch/Carryology Collabs. I tried to make this one work, but as another person commented, extending the yolk to fit my long torso hindered the top of the pack from opening fully, which negated the key benefit of the Tri-Zip. The straps also just weren't that comfortable. I really need the L/XL and replacement straps in that size weren't available (which is the same thing MR said after the Cerebus launch). Really disappointing stance for a company that prides itself on helping it's customers find the right fit. There we're some nice features on this pack and it's really gorgeous, but frankly if the harness isn't comfortable, then the rest really doesn't matter.
Ima just say it. VX21 sucks. Slippery, noisy, shiny. I like it ok for pouches and accessories but for a main pack material its too conspicous and its annoying to interact with. 500d cordura and X50 are perfection.

If it were me, I would always be a little, careful with putting my address on UA-cam just in case, especially as your channel is growing, the worst kind of scum start popping up and if they can see your address, I’d always be concerned that they can do something with that.

Aqua guard zips definitely aren’t my favorite. I feel like smaller bags shouldn’t be xpac because they will be too stiff and not good in use.

Those Vietnam sourced zips are very stiff vs the USA made MR products with the soft aquaguard YKK zippers. Unfortunate!
