I was curious too, what bag that was. I'm guessing Greenroom 136, but I'm not familiar with the bag.
There is a inspired version of this Mystery ranch bag called xcursion 30L. It look alike. The inner compartment is lacking of pockets. But is way cheaper compare to mystery ranch.
That "dohicky" to hang a hydration bag also connects to the loop below it to lock the laptop in a bit tighter.
Do-hickey technology has advanced so far!

Thanks for the reviews. I’ll add my experience with this pack. I have had several of these bags and I returned all of them. In my opinion, poor, poor designs all because they over designed them. Zippers are absolutely horrible, no room on the inside with a wedge shape with less room in the bottom and more on top, if you can fit a water bottle on either or both sides, they take that space away from the already to small space inside the pack. I am 6’-1” 210 pounds the adjustments for fit are almost impossible even for a guy like me, and I’m not weak. And the beavertail has a serious design flaw in that if you shove a jacket back there it can fall out either side even cinched down. My vote; 2 thumbs down 👎 👎

You should not have to do any modifications to a $400 bag. This bag is absolutely ridiculous. Not in a good way. Enjoying your channel love Mystery Ranch and Carrology but not this bag
I’m not a fan of tri zips, but yea, cutting off the beaver tail? Yikes!
I can't believe you just cut that off! I literally gasped lol before you cut, I was thinking why doesn't he just modify it to add like snaps or buttons so that you could completely remove the beaver tail or add it if you want it later on. Congrats to you for being bold and knowing what you want. I would have went the route of button snaps later lol. Guess you could always add that later still. Thanks for great content
All he did was lowered the value of the bag by a hundred bucks and limited his options. He still had a pocket before the disfigurement albeit with slightly less space. IMO not the wisest decision
If you check with mystery ranch, you would be surprised at what they will cover under warranty.
@@TheKoss11 my unicorn has more than enough room with it folded in the pocket for anything that would fit in there with out it being there because it takes up almost nothing. They should not cover being a knucklehead

Not practical , 3 way zips and stiff, beaver tail, way overpriced for what it is.

if you have like, i dunno, 1 lb worth of finger strength the zips pull just fine. Duno why ppl complain about the zips
