The ONLY way the tickets being double sold wasn't a scam is if he either had serious communication issues with his gf or they were fighting and not communicating or didn't care. But him not paying them back cleared that right up lol he's not the brightest
The co-plaintiff was killing me with his narration. You know he practiced all that extra shit in the mirror and was ready to go in there and serve. The "guess what?" with a dead, expressionless face and slightly animated voice sent me to the moon. 💀
Yeah, he was goofy but 80% of it was him trying to think up lies. I, myself, am awkward in social settings but I don't feel an ounce of pity for this thief
Yeah typical scam artists, defendant and his girlfriend knew exactly what they were doing. But to try n cheat an ex-cop... Sheesh walking in thin ice there
I feel like she said that because of Harvey's questioning. Made her doubt that the previous two people were right, and just wanted to be right herself lol. But who knows, she might have been serious.
@@SRFAA That’s my point, she used the phrase “buyer beware” Caveat Emptor. I’m just saying, if you use that phrase then it hints that you might know a little law. IF she did then she should’ve known that it doesn’t apply. And if she watched peoples court then she’d know that Harvey does that type of thing to try to add relevance to his little role
@@Xweetgurl1 Fun-fact: The crowd doesn’t get to watch the case. Everyone is gathered at that spot with Harvey. Harvey briefs them with very small tidbits of the case and any notable points. But he leaves out key details from the case so that the questions are more open-ended and the crowd cannot jump straight to the eventual ruling. Which makes sense because Harvey’s role is to get a general consensus and his follow-up explains the verdict in more detail. The lady who said “buyer beware” must’ve not realized that wasn’t as straight forward as an as-is sale. But the sale was completely fraudulent and that didn’t apply.
Defendant has balls as big as Gibraltar. To text them the tickets are no good after they discovered the tickets were bogus, he’s lucky he’s not in jail. What a clowngoof he is.
Pretty sure there is no "girlfriend". This guy had enough time to realise that the plaintiff had more than enough info on him to have him charged. Maybe he was even dumb enough to know plaintiff was an ex-cop and he still went through with it. I'm kind of thinking this guy may have pulled the same scam on multiple people for the same set of tickets but he covered his tracks better with others. Dont ever mess with cops. I'm not arguing the morality of what I'm about to say - but they have an almost obscene amount of power - even when they are retired (because they still KNOW the people who have power). I"m actually a little surprised they even bothered with small claims court and didn't just start having their cop buddies show up to the guy's house, and his work etc.
😅😅😅. Defendant did not want to give them their money back because of feelings. Law does not give a toot about your feelings! What a complete loser. Get him JM!
puh-LEEEEEZ someone - anyone! -- provide us with an update?? Did the local PD get further involved in this scammer and his gf's case?? Sheesh! What an absolute BONEHEAD to try to scam a retired cop!

In theory, but not really. Being an ex-cop holds weight with other cops, prosecutors, and judges. Not only that, but you'll still be good friends with other police and maybe prosecutors as well, so they will take your case more seriously than they would someone else's. That's the reality.
@@axon130- You don't know that. Most cops , from what I've seen, are bullies with badges who don't even know the laws they're supposed to uphold, or people's rights they're supposed to protect. Yes, it was unreasonable. They should have sued for their money back, and ask for punitive damages as well. Something needs to be done to teach that defendant a lesson, although he'll probably end up getting charged for it. But you can't expect to get money to cover their parking and to let them go to the game for free. That's crazy.
...Then these same sites also put those same tickets up again at a higher price and see if someone buys them. If they do, then the previous buyer of the ticket(s) are out of luck. These sites have time to keep on doing this for the same ticket until the day before the event. There's so much T&C that are hidden that a buyer agrees to that easily make these sites not doing anything illegal. The government is trying to crackdown on this. It's just hard for every state attorney general to crack down on them. So You'd think to buy from these sites from seller that you can directly talk to. Nope. It might still be an already sold or about to be multiple sold ticket. That's why the intial site for tickets are the only place to buy from. Also, most venues have a social media where you can find out where to purchase from them so you don't have to spend way more and end up making scalping sites make more money than the actual venue and the event itself.
Just a reminder that all those people in special classes, riding short buses are released out into the world with no accommodations, or classifications. Their working at your job, making your food, some of you are married to them… and sometimes we get the delight of watching them get sued on tv😂
Is it drugs? It has to be drugs. The only logical excuse for the defendant's behavior and responses to the judge's questions. Then to countersue? I hope both of them scammers get nailed for being such dirtbags.
Wow… I am not sure why but the defendant is always smiling and looking so cheerful for no reason… this is quite concerning, makes me wonder if he suffers from a condition or a mental health issue. If not, maybe he is nervous. I was shocked to see him smiling so much and looking so cheerful while the judge is ripping him to pieces.
I love hearing her rip into people... She had me laughing so hard especially when she put the L on her forehead.. 😂
I love her I’m going to miss this show

Yep. You have to be an idiot not to give an ex-cop his money back when you're a scam artist.
Exactly. Since he's making it all up anyway, he might as well throw a girlfriend in there. "My totally hot supermodel girlfriend sold them!"
There's no "girlfriend" for SO many reasons. lol
