Little pouches are a god send. I use a backpack through the week and being able to quickly throw what I need in my purse on the weekends is amazing. My challenge is my impulse to carry around notebooks, and my purses get too heavy. 😅
I have a small "kit." It has clippers, tweezers, safety pins, and bandaids. It goes in the side zipper pouch next to the period supplies. Small wallets are the bomb. I have a crossbody Baggolini. Love it!
Love the idea of using the little pouches to store like items . I usually just store them all together in the purse .love the organization and I'm split them up now . Love your purse idea with all the pockets.
I have a drop in organizer by Born to Accessorize and love it. Still tweaking the system, but it allows me to switch bags in a flash. Need to get one of those little roll up shopping bags. Great idea!
Putting everything into your own little pockets if the bag itself doesn't come with them - what a great idea! Definitely gonna re-organize my purse like that soon, because I lose little things in it CONSTANTLY! ✨
I LOVE my baggalini bags. Not expensive and so durable and organized. I love how the straps are adjustable so they can be cross body or over the shoulder.
I love the pouches. I use them. I even have a little trash pouch for dry trash because for some reason I have a hard time finding a trash can when I'm out
I like to carry a small wristlet or crossbody that only holds my phone and wallet. I keep a zip pouch in my desk at the office with some minimal cosmetics and acetaminophen and ibuprofen. Working from home, I used a larger Levenger book tote with 6 exterior pockets. This was good for the extras like sunglasses, mints for the family, extra masks, hand wipes, etc. Now that I am working sometimes at home and sometimes in the office, I have switched back to the wristlet, so I can carry my laptop bag and lunch box. I may switch to a backpack when the weather gets worse, so I can put everything in one bag My challenge is to figure out what I can stop carrying back-and-forth to the office. I don’t mind buying duplicates to have my favorite essential tools in both places. I switched to a much slimmer planner for 2022 (A5 Leuchtturm 1917 weekly). I like your organizer bag. Patti
I actually had to pause the video when Clover made her first appearance.....I am a dog mom as well,so seeing yours lit me up!....what a beauty!.......ok...now to watch the rest...lol.....really enjoyed ur last bag video.. 🇨🇦
This video came up for me while I was searching Baggallini. I LOVE the fact that you are rockin' a 'vintage' Baggallini. That style is amazing! When it comes to a small wallet, I have been using the Big Skinny Taxicat for about 6 months and it is a crazy small footprint and I really recommend it. I initially only got it for travel but I just never switched back out of it.
Yes! A purse video!!! Purses are my thing! I love your bag, especially with the extra compartments under the flap. I used to switch purses with the seasons and at one time I had more purses (34) than pairs of shoes (15). Now I’ve decluttered both to a manageable number. I got my first baggallini purse about 2 years ago and I love it! I had the purse for a few months before I found a hidden pocket in it! Now it’s where I stash my charging cord. I also love the RFID case that came with the purse as it provides extra protection for my payment cards. I too have things divided into bags within my purse. Easy to find things that way. A couple things I look for with purses is lots of compartments (I love all the different pockets) and I want to be able to see inside the purse so any dark interior is ruled out no matter how beautiful the bag is or how many pockets it has. My current purse is apple red with a light gray interior. I have two grand dogs that I take for walks and in one of the compartments in my purse is a roll of dog poop bags because, as you stated, you just never know so it’s best to be prepared. Great video!
You have the advantage of Container store background…I live in a remote area and don’t get to a big city to find cute things. Huge bummer for me. … ordering online isn’t the same cus you can’t actually see the product…oh well enjoy
Pacsafe Metrosafe LS100 purse in gray. Great locks, plenty of pockets in 2 sections, cant be cut off you. Use a pouch in the bigger section for meds & chapstick. Eyeglass case next to it. Wears like iron. Hook a stylish pouch on the outside that converts into an instant shopping bag. I have everything I need in this “Swiss Army” style purse. If I’m traveling overnight I use the one a step up in size. It holds a rolled up tshirt, undies and socks, plus tiny containers of beauty products. This way I dont look like a tourist and have everything I need.
This was very helpful. I used to have one of those structured purse organizers but it made my purse heavy. I have tons of little pouches that I can use. Time to reorganize 💜💜 TFS ☺️
Love these ideas! I'm constantly rummaging in my bag especially for my car keys! I'm resolving to have a designated spot for everything. Thank you for sharing.
Bag organisation... my bags always start Neat And Organised and then, little by little, they turn into A Mess. Thanks for the Inspiration! At least I solved the problem of Keys Lost In The Bottom Of The First Pocket One Looked Into But Not Found Until The Second Or Third Pass - by using a carabiner clipped on the zipper. Lifesaver.
I have a puppy and saw the single wet ones for dogs you had. I’ve looked online for some and don’t see singles. Where did you find yours? I think that would be awesome to have in my bag!
I have that same Poo Pourri case. Looks like the crown came off the top of yours too! I thought the crown was so pretty. I was sad when it fell off somewhere..
Having to paw through seventy-five individual things all loose in my purse just drives me to madness. I've been using individual little bags for eeeeeeeeeeverykindathing for years now. It was great for using all of those bags I accumulated when I had the Etsy subscription. When I was working in-office, it was super handy to switch out my handbag every few days. You just dump all the zipper bags from one purse to another and you're done. That habit helped to keep all that junk like receipts and stuff from accumulating in the bottom of my bags.
Nice video! I have a purse with side water bottle pocket that I store the hand sanitizer spray bottle & a napkin for easy access. Thanks for the reminder to check purse 👜 I really haven’t reviewed since 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣ to see how it is doing nowadays… I admit to just cramming more stuff in there as I need it & not discarding things I no longer use these days!
Great stuff. I didn't even know wet wipes had them for dogs. I had the travel spray, it leaked, and got a back up battery with an type C and iPhone lightning cable built in so I can save space on extra cables.
I've been using tips from your old video about purse organization for a while now and I love everything I've gotten on your recommendation! Poopouri is great and lotion is key! I have an bigger wallet (it doesn't include my check book, but it does look like a mini spell book which I love) and I've got lots of little baggies of things like paperwork I need to keep in my purse, writing utensils and a small notebook, etc. I have a wall charger for my phone but should probably have a spare battery charger that doesn't need the wall or car. I love these tips!
My biggest challenge is that I have a bag for work and then a purse. I don’t carry my work bag and purse, so I used to move all the important stuff back and forth….most of the time. I was always forgetting to move stuff though. Now I pretty much have duplicated everything but my wallet and keys.
Hi Kay, I enjoyed watching this video so much. Thanks for taking the time to record it. My biggest challenge with my purse is that I need to carry (at all times) 3 pairs of glasses. Driving, reading, and computer glasses. So buh-bye to the smaller purses :( I have a question that has been bugging me since I started watching you... What kind of stone is on your wedding ring? I admire and think your ring is so unique and lovely. Thanks :-)
I am a big purse girl. So my biggest challenge is finding a bag big enough for all of my stuff and that is cute too. I love the pouch idea! My big bag is full of pouches. Lol
Thanks for the video. These hints work for purses of all sizes. Compartments, pouches and special containers make life easy. We can add and subtract items as needed. Guys use the same pockets for things from the time they start walking and never worry about co-ordinating with outfits or being right for the occasion. Boring!
I love this video. I particularly like that baggolini. I got to find that. I got a couple but there's a real tiny cross bodies and even though they have lots of pockets I still need something a little bit bigger and yours looks absolutely perfect I hope I can find it. I like your idea of organization too with the individual pouches so you don't have stuff here there and everywhere particularly if you've got a purse with lots of pockets you don't want to have to stop and go through every single pocket to find your earphones for instance where your keys.
I also have a reusable bag from reisenthel or however it's spelled haha, but it's a little more bulky because the whole bag is in a silver high vis material so you don't need to worry about not being visable when going shopping. Sometimes I walk to the grocery store in wintertime
Me again. Marta made a good point about keeping your mask in a pouch, with possible risk of bacteria breading. I too have a pouch (which has an inner bag) which I put my used mask in, for when for example I return to my car. Or when simply I remove the mask carefully and house it in the pouch and later need to put it on again. Then it goes into the laundry pile for masks, when I get home.
Great video! Good idea to keep like with like in pouch form! Sooo much easier.... I have a purse half that size, and it is sometimes too small, but I want to pack light! Anyway, thanks so much. And as usual it is so nice to see your sidekick with you!❤
My biggest challenge is the switch from shoulder to cross body bags. I’m a big purse girl and switching to smaller purse and still keeping everything I need in it.
I love your bag…I have a few from that brand and really enjoy them. I always have trouble fitting my planner inside, though. I have a mini Happy Planner and it’s still so heavy! 😂
I have a wallet/phone holder that has a strap. It fits perfectly in my larger purses. But if I run errands or have back issues I can just grab that and go. I don't have to switch out anything. and since it zippers I can add in a mask and chapstick.
I always like your bag organisation videos. And like Mrstic1, my biggest challenge is that my bag is never big enough. However what I'm now trying is having a favourite small size rucksack which houses items such as my umbrella, water bottle, shopping bags in a spare makeup case, diary, small makeup bag. While also carrying the smallest of bags which has quick grab items such as notebook, keys, purse for coins and cards, almost forgot to mention phone and bag for my mask, pket tissues and I keep my hand sanitiser bottle in my pocket. So I treat my hands before touching anything in my bag. I still get caught out though..... Everyone tells me I carry too much. Perhaps. 🤗
My biggest challenge for purse organization these days is being well prepared yet keeping it lightweight enough for me to carry. I have a bad back and shoulders so if my bag is more than a few pounds it's very hard on me, physically.
I just carry a wallet-an iPhone and keys! Big problem the phone sometimes gets laid down and I have to search for it-so maybe going back to a small bag for both wallet and phone would be the answer. The rest of the stuff I use, stays in a small basket in my car.(hand sanitizer-extra masks-lipstick-palates sox-sunglasses etc) Nice topic-thanks
Oh man now I feel weird for basically having a crossbody wallet. I just like my hands free without having a big ole saddle bag on my hip, but let's be honest.. I'm not going anywhere these days, so that's all I need :) No spontaneous trips anywhere. I love the preparedness of your bag and it's good to see someone use those little pouches! On shopping bags, how would you go about "washing" the plastic reusable bags from like Big Y, etc? I wipe them down with disinfectant usually, never thought to throw them in the wash!
This is perfect . I try to keep my hand sanitizer on the outer part of my bag, so that I don’t have to rummage through with whatever it is on my hands, that I want to get off. The air Bud compartment, on the outside, would be perfect for a little hand sanitizer bottle. My daughter’s going off to college. I will help her organize her bag, ( if she lets me 😳. ) Thanks, Kay~Hey Clover😘🐶
My biggest challenge has been finding an “everything” purse. Something I can take to work AND to the dog park. It’s a hassle to transfer everything to different bags every day, and I can forget stuff. I am thinking of trying a smart casual style backpack next 🤞🏼
I’ve been using a small sling backpack since just before lockdowns started. I bought it for a vacation, and lockdowns were starting as I returned home. I’d love to find one that looks slightly less sporty.
If you can sew there are tons of patterns on UA-cam free! I make a lot of pouches, wallets and even made my bag out of old cargo pants. I can make as many pockets as I want. I just take out my planner for my pups water and treats.
That’s awesome, thank you! The only other thing I’d add for urban purse in these weird times…. A prescription for Narcain nasal spray if ever intervention might be needed.
My biggest challenge is finding a purse that can fit my bullet journal and a trade paperback but also not leave my stuff swimming around when I am not carrying books. I don't think it's possible.
My biggest challenge to organizing my bag is having to carry an inhaler and an Epi pen. They are lumpy as is my sunglasses case. I like my bag to have a slim profile which is impossible with these items.
My biggest challenge right now is keeping up with the trash: I always have tissues and some papers laying around in my bag and now a lot of used masks 😅 Do you only use those two masks in a week? I would be careful with putting them in a pouch after using them because bacteria and fungus could grow and cause health problems. Great video 💕
Very timely - I'm due for a purse clean out & will have to see what kind of pouches I can scrounge up. Really love that idea. I'm also a small wallet person. It keeps me from holding onto too many cards, receipts/coupons & change. :)
My biggest challenge is that my wallet is THE heaviest item inside my purse. I am still using it ONLY because it was a gift from my son..........and I really like it.
Well, I took a few things out of my wallet including an auto insurance card that expired in 2018. 🤔 It does weigh a little less now. Thanks for the inspiration.
Aahhhh...little pouches! That's what I need! Brilliant. I honestly just don't even like carrying a purse, LOL. But one more little pouch would help keep the mini Lysol and mini hand sanitizer from getting stuck under my wallet.
Curious if anyone else has things that have changed about their personality since COVID? For me it’s that I no longer use a purse. I never thought I would see the day that I wouldn’t carry a purse/bag, but then COVID happened and now I don’t. I don’t know what the future holds and if I will again in the future, but for the last (almost) 2 years I haven’t.
I switched to a fanny pack to keep the essentials in. That way I don't have to set it down anywhere. I used to carry big totes so it was definitely a huge change for me. Having the fanny pack means I have to keep it clean though with only the basics, can't let receipts build up.
For like the first year, I carried the SMALLEST bag I could find. It was weird. I didn't need half the cosmetics I used to touch my face up with because...no one can see my face anymore! 🤣
@@TheOrganizedSoprano Same! During 2020 I was basically only going to the grocery store, or Target, or CVS, and then back home. I just carried one of those little wallets on a strap and tucked my phone in there, and that was that!

I often feel like my bag is too small, but then I complain if it is too heavy. I can't win.
My biggest challenge right now is keeping up with the trash: I always have tissues and some papers laying around in my bag and now a lot of used masks 😅
Do you only use those two masks in a week? I would be careful with putting them in a pouch after using them because bacteria and fungus could grow and cause health problems. Great video 💕
Get the used masks out as soon as you get home they carry the germs of the day
Very timely - I'm due for a purse clean out & will have to see what kind of pouches I can scrounge up.
🎼🎶🎤Everybody poops... sometimes... 🎵
I think you should reposition the opening shot. Your impeccably clean toilet is over your right shoulder. ❤️
Too funny... 2 Taurus packing their purses the same way.
I'm hopeless with a purse. Big or small. Even with pockets or pouches.
I have shrunk my purse size die to the cv
Truth be told my purse collects gum wrappers, old papers, dust & dirt, and leaky sunblock.
I thought you were going to insert a picture of a panini instead of the walrus. Color me disappointed (lol).
Kay, I like you, not the 🚽 LOL.
🎵 Party Pooper! 🎵
(LOL.. All in jest!)
Agree, Kay is great!
I do not like a heavy putse. Not all items in it have to be so big. Use smaller sizes.
Lov the phone charger idea! I never knew of such a thing! Amazing 🐶
