We look for peaceful means because it's more comfortable than unpeaceful means. This is what needs to be pointed out. We aren't looking for peace because of some higher principle; we don't believe in principles anymore; we don't believe in belief anymore. We live in an eudaimonic nightmare. The comforts of modern life are more comfortable, but the misery and depravity and violence is more terrible, precisely because we do not attach any specific meaning to it, or anything going on around us. If we did attach meaning to it, we would fight more, and be prepared to fight, and be prepared to die even. This has been the trade-off of modern life.
A crusader does not see something terrible or horrifying in the death of a child who has been blown up by an Israeli drone strike, not like the moderner does. The crusader sees meaning in that child's death. The moderner is less crude than the crusader, but also less equipped spiritually, or mentally shall we say, for what life is really about. I do believe life is about suffering, and there is less suffering in the religion of suffering, than there is in a life that has no way of dealing with suffering, through being inured to constant comfort. But even constant comfort can cause suffering, it's just that we have exchanged our old miseries for new miseries. And this is why Christianity can never die.

I've really taken a liking to the "clean your room" meme. By that I mean I've taken to just generally trying to make places I find myself a little better while I'm there. It can be as simple as picking up some meaningless litter, or straightening a chair or two as I pass by a table.
One time I was taking my mom into radiation therapy, and just outside the entrance a lady with her husband just dropped a candy bar wrapper on the ground. They clearly had no intent to pick it up, so I walked over, and picked it up myself. The husband gave me an indignant look, so I asked, "I'm sorry, were you done with that?" I didn't wait for an answer, and deposited the wrapper in the bin ten feet away. That's about three meters for you metric types.
_...and when I entered the clinic, everybody stood and applauded._ Not really. My mom was embarrassed I was so bold to strangers. I got right in their personal space, and was snarky to an elderly couple.

Wouldn't a right for a certain population to exist come with a right of free association?
And then we get into an argument whether natural rights exist.

    • @zonefreakman
      @zonefreakman 7 років тому

Ant Man There are laws of nature. Natural rights is a figment of imagination. They're just agreements that society adhere to which changes all the time.

They 'exist' insofar as they are implemented. But they have no objective grounds for being. The universe doesn't care about rights and yet it created beings capable of imagining them. Strange.

Gravel Pit Sorry but you're just wrong. Hispanics will not integrate into Western European Civilization and adopt it's values. They will do what comes easiest for them like any group would do which is push for their own interests (spanish and bilingual will become the norm for whites seeking employment in Hispanic dominated areas). As I said their culture of corruption and welfare non libertarian ideas will create Brazil North American (as it already has in California!) and whites will be pushed to the fringes or have to adopt 3rd world mentality and live in shanty towns or go homeless as many white MALES already have to do. I know that Hispanic females along with white females dominate the managerial positions in most large office work environments and they DO DISCRIMINATE against white males. These corporations are Jewish controlled. They see the 3rd world model works for the Latin elites in South American and they have decided to install that same slavery system in the US. The white middle class is being wiped out and will continue to be as the Hispanic population increases. You can't tell me that is not happening because I see it and experience it first hand.

Gravel Pit Jews are an ethnicity, they are not a race. Same as the Japanese and the Chinese are both Asian but different ethnicity. Ashkenazi Jews are Caucasian, but are a different ethnicity then Anglo white Europeans, same as the Japanese to the Chinese. Jews are NOT a divided group. They are individuals that each have their own political opinion or personal feelings about other races, but the Jews AS A GROUP act in lockstep in all ways that matter when it comes to holding on to POWER. If the consensus in the Jewish community is to promote egalitarian policies and diversity and transgender relations, some Jews as individuals will disagree with that but most only to the point that they are not personally suffering by opposing it. In other words when the tidal wave is flowing in one direction and Jews as individuals are doing well financially then obviously even the individuals who disagree with the direction have to make a choice, stand up and possibly be destroyed or take the money and run to the gated community. Blaming any individuals for a group of people's action doesn't really make much sense, but pointing out the harmful negative nature of a group's collective action makes perfect sense. I have worked for Jews, I know exactly how they think and why they do what they do. I don't blame them as individuals but I do blame them as a collective.

    • @shatnerwilliams8745

Gravel Pit But first the Muslims will be used to break the real opposition, Western White Anglos with Libertarian leanings. Then Muslim males will see what is in store for them. Remember low IQ groups are easily corruptible and can be bought off. The Saudi Royal family do not have any real commitment to Islam and neither do any of the other tyrants in power in the Middle East. They are a fake projection to their people as the American politicians are to us. FAKE.

William Baric The "super power" is their collective intelligence and loyalty to the group. The control over other people comes from the fact that they as a group control those little credit things in your bank account, those little unimportant pieces of paper that you get from the ATM or that plastic card that you magically charge to give you goods and services that ALLOWS YOU TO LIVE ANOTHER DAY.

I've long been a fan of Morris Berman's work. One of his main theses is that the world (particularly the US) is going to shit, so there's not much you can do to arrest that perverse development. When the shit finally does hit the fan, we don't know what that will ultimately look like, and we might not even be here when it does happen. For all we know, the decline could be very slow and agonizing. Eventually, I do believe there will be a spark somewhere. Then, well . ..
So, Berman's upshot was to do something what he calls New Monasticism. That is, as was the case with medieval monks, preserve what you can and hope that it makes it through the conflagration.

'Right to exist' is just a useful trope, it can easily be argued that rights in general don't exist or at the very least are arbitrary in nature. The real issue is whether a given ethnic grouping and its progeny will be better off if they limit influx of other ethnic groups (and to what extent).

  • @Unimportant

From my point of view, being too much of an individualist is going to trap a person if things get too tough. The military has a concept of "cover and move" where if you're going through hostile environments one person covers you as you progress toward your goal and you cover your allies as they progress. It is a really efficient way of advancing toward the common goal, but the goal has to be common which is where a certain sense of collectivism comes in. Being an absolute individualist prevents a person from making efficient use of this strategy. Even Sargon knows this, seeing as during the times when he's on vacation he gets other channels to cover his content drought with cameos.

The female chameleons who have never been exposed to real Korean culture would have a hard time disguising themselves and be rejected there, just as the cosplay girls or gamer girls have a tough time disguising themselves as Japanimation or comic fans or gamers and are thrown out of those communities.

If we could get a model of a social network that represents society, we could maybe apply a form of the byzantine agreement problem to it, in order to get a good estimate for an upper bound for how high a percentage a population can be inherently different, before the population needs to split so violence doesn't break out.
Just seems like a more difficult modelling problem, the math would be rather trivial, I guess....

Environment determines culture. it determines how one lives and the food they eat. this in turns affects genetics. the genes better adapted for that environment become more selected and thus the population evolves to fit the location.
just look at rice growing cultures and see how different they are from other places with different food staples.

What do you think differentiates the eastern continental land-based expansion of Russians into the taiga with the sea-faring mercantile expansion of western Europeans into the New World? Christianity seems to have provided the ideological groundwork for settler colonization due to universalist values inherent within Biblical morality, although land-based settler expansion seems to have had less of a material and social/cultural impact on civilizational development in Russia when compared to western European mercantile expansion into the New World...

I'm late to reply but I wanted to take some time to think about the topics discussed. Great content as usual!
On the discussion of phenotypes and culture. I do agree that genetics must have played an important role in the creation of various cultures but does that suggest that there could be no deviation from those cultures by the people of those races across generations? If you have members of a less advanced group (A) who are raised in a more advanced group's (B) society with the B's culture, to the extent that they had more sense of belonging with B than A, why would they later choose to go back to A? However, I must also agree that there should be a limit to cultural dilution if you want to preserve B. It seems to me the crucial aspect is to ensure that above all B maintains its standards. I may be getting lost in ideals or missing something critical about the idea presented at this point though.
All that aside, rewriting/hiding history seems to be among the most foolish or devious acts we can commit as a species in the long run.

I can't believe people are still talking about high IQ immigration. I can't believe _you_ and TL;DR are talking about high IQ immigration. This is pure Disney Land. You criticise us for having a go and a laugh at Kraut, when everyone knows full well _a priori_ that he has no arguments against the facts about race. But you sit here and go through these old notions, as if they have any real bearing on the problems Europe is facing.
As to your whole example about your Korean woman, that just seemed to trail off into nothing. You both seem completely indeterminate or incapable of bringing yourself to accept that different races, cultures, religions, nations, should all live in distinct and separate societies. Am I wrong again, am I just not getting the message? This is nearly 3 hours long does it pick up at some point?

The idea of a right, separate from God, or some other religious association, is inherently absurd. What right do you think you have in secular terms? there can be no rights in secular terms. A right must come from some divine source, otherwise it is meaningless, it's just an opinion.
I would say that the British do not have a right to anything they don't fight for, and that's a good secular aphorism. It doesn't make sense, because again, I'm using the word _right,_ and the idea that victory through violence is what bestows rights is absurd. It makes the very idea of a right absurd, because it means that anyone who will fight has the right, which contradicts the idea of an inherent right in the first place. So where do rights come from then if they are inherent? do the aborigines have a right to live unmolested in Australia? I don't know. There are too many factors to think about. But this over-simplification to the word right, a word which has no meaning in the context that you're using it, isn't going to get us anywhere.
