Can any one tell me how to get the TR or PR after 2024? Can I DIY by visit there and hire some translator locally and then submit all of the 1)FBI criminal background check from the USA where I live; 2) birth certificate form; 3)citizen doc all Apostille, those 3 docs to DIY save some $ because many gurus on YT charges $1,500+ fee from turn in those 3 docs then get Cedular national ID, Resident tax #, setup LLC co., bank account, and even later get drivers license, the pkg costs over $1,500+. Not sure who can I trust and turn to for help but I think trust people who have been thru these same process would be a great start. Thanks!

Great video! It’s strange seeing/hearing nice comments about Asunción tho… I mean I know there’s nice parts but I’m too often afraid of walking around, frustrated with infraestructure/not enough upkeep/ no accessibility or public transit. If you’re privileged it can be nice.

First, thank you for the kind words.
Second, I acknowledge that I am viewing your country in what is probably the best way that it can be seen. I dropped in for several weeks, stayed in a nice, safe place and had the resources to enjoy what Paraguay offers. My audience is primarily those who are in similar circumstances, looking for places to visit and spend their time.
In every place to which I travel, there are areas that are probably not going to be safe or lack the infrastructure to make them good locations to visit/live. Those are generally parts of the region that I never see.
Thank you for watching and for leaving such thoughtful feedback!

A few questions if you don't mind. What is the "street dog" situation like? Is Asuncion dog friendly? Also I understand that Central and South Americans are crazy for fireworks. There were some street dogs, but I've seen many more in other locations. As far as being dog friendly, I can't honestly say one way or another, as I didn't notice many dogs inside of cafes or other spaces. I remember hearing some fireworks, but that was maybe only one or two times. There were mosquitos and I was there for the beginning of winter, so they are a concern.

What am I thinking? I have seen the error in my ways and will vow to have a better beer/coffee balance going forward. (Except here in La Paz. Alcohol and high altitude dont mix too well at the beginning.)

Paraguay and Asuncion in particular are great beer-drinking places for sure, with all kinds of beer, including local and imported,

I see! There might be tour packages for visiting Paraguay, but I am not aware of them. I typically reserve an Airbnb and then explore on my own for the most part. On occasion, I will take a day trip with a tour company, but in Paraguay there weren't many of those offered.
I'm sorry I can't be of more assistance.

In chakarita didn't live indigenous, mostly of them are (Spanish)criollos descendants

I was corrected by the folks at Chaca Tours. The neighborhood was once mostly indigenous, but the makeup has now changed.
