- We recently received an email from the US consulate in Vienna that they now can issue my visa. We are dropping off Simeon's passport at the post office and sending it to them for the final step. How long will it take??

It's crazy that being married to an American and having children with American citizenship isn't an immediate free pass for American Citizenship.
I mean, it's clearly not a scam marriage like we see in movies, etc.

Now that it is so close, where do you plan to stay when you arrive here? She’s had nothing but problems extending her student visa and being able to stay during the last 2 years. Just don’t give up your dream. I truly believe doing things the legal way is the only way to feel secure in the future. Praying for the best for your family.
Congratulations! It is all in God's timing. You have no idea why He has delayed so long, but He has His reasons. Perhaps He will eventually unfold it all to you causing you to fall more in love with Him. We have been waiting for you to come to the US for so long!

This is crazy that it's so difficult for a spouse of an American. This has to be frustrating when you think of how many illegal aliens have crossed and are crossing and living in the US without any repercussions. The kids are automatically American citizens. What did you have to do for them? Just got get them passports at the American embassy?

I don't know anyone who wants to get out, but many who are praying for a lot to change. We are happy to be moving close to family, friends and like minded people. America is a broken country in need of Jesus.
