0816 M3RC yeah I’m going to have to agree with you on that. I love the era but I don’t like the trilogy all that much because TPM was pretty boring and Attack was not that great of a movie. Revenge is the best prequel movie and my favorite Star Wars movie but even it has some problems with dialogue and some problems with the narrative.
The assassination attempt resulted in the death of several members of Plaguies's non-sith friends and clan, it also left him badly scarred and needing cybernetic respirator to live.
Honestly, Disney should have kept all the "backstory" stuff canon, or at least said "everything before the end of the OT is canon unless we contradict it later" or something like that. They were clearly mainly interested in making post-ROTJ content when they bought the IP, so why not leave all the great details and little stories that gave the universe life intact. I loved the fact that if you went on Wookipedia, every character that appeared for like a frame or two had a backstory. It made the Galaxy feel huge, beyond the scope of the movie Saga. And most of it could be kept intact and not contradict new-canon info at all. Anyway, there's probably dozens comments like this in every one of your videos, so I thought I might offer up what I thought they should have done rather than just complain. Thanks for another great video dude.
I agree. While the new canon did give me a lot I love, like Ahsoka, all the Clones feeling like real characters, Maul's return, Rebels, Jedi Fallen Order, and Rogue One, it still didn't have to get rid of all those great Legends stories too. We lost a lot of good stuff, I'm not the biggest Legends fan out there, but what I have seen I do like so it sucks it's not canon anymore, like Starkiller or all those cool campaign missions from the original Battlefront 2 game.

It always makes me lose my mind when stupendous wave and channels like him just do the same videos over and over again when there’s so much history and so many events that happened in the novels that they could talk about.
Honestly, I wish palpatines father let his son work with plaguis to help spread the naboo rule to other planets. Naboo could've been such a more powerful planet. (For those who don't understand what I mean, watch the lore master's awesome video on palpatines childhood)
This part in the amazing Darth Plaguies novel by James Luceno was just fantastic. Seeing (Or rather...well, you get the drill) him in action as a terrifying (yet oddly nonchalantly gentlemanly) butcher in it was always amazing, as he would, being a rather busy Sith lord, seldom go deal with minor pests like the former king here by himself.
Real talk who the hell let’s a 14 year old girl become a queen or a whole planet after a crazy dictatorship shouldn’t you have someone that’s had years of political experience not someone who went to debate camp
All in all, that was awesome! A really cool look at the actions of a fun character we really didn't get to see much about. Also, that sort of paints a sad picture for Amadala, since that means it wasn't too long into her new reign the the Dark Lords changed gear, and had the Trade Frderation, which was already being troublesome, blockade the planet. Then, nor long after, Plagueius dies, so this was one of his own last acts. Always neat to see these shadow acts, perpetrated by Plagueius, or Tenebrous, before the spotlight moved onto the Emperor, and Vader.
Plageuis: I'm planning to order my minions to remove Veruna. Veruna: I will attempt to remove plageuis using shady crime syndicates, and destroy his stuff. Plageuis: Fine, I'll do it myself
Veruna had the crime syndicates nuke Plagueis' retreat on Sojourn, but Plagueis was tipped off by Jabba at the last minute before he too was obliterated

I like this video it’s nice to learn about the expanded universe of Star Wars. A lot of people who is familiar with Naboo see it as an idyllic world but compared to other worlds in the Star Wars galaxy Naboo is far from being considered a rich, developed and influential world by Galactic Standards. The location of Naboo was far from main hyperspace lanes that they could benefit from. Also they could not afford ships to transport their goods and relied on the Trade Federation for that service as a result their commodities in particular plasma was sold to the Trade Federation at a fixed price way below fair market value.
Perhaps but even Sideous admits that he wouldn't have gotten there without Plagueis' help. I mean he admits it whilst he's killing the guy but it's the thought that counts.
The loremaster I've come to enjoy your videos ever since you guys were known as fact free and my understanding that I gained from watching all these videos was and will be that the Sith would rule the galaxy and that the rule of two was the answer to the grand plan of the Sith and keep up the good work
Because the folks that make the Disney canon don't take the time to ensure the continuity is free of contradictions. That and they are lazy and don't take the same time and care that the Legends writers and management team did.
