      @showtale8325 you just have no idea what you're talking about I mean you're criticizing a coach that has one thing now that he never had in the entire time under coach Mark richt, that's a credible defense. Do you know what it's like being an offensive coordinator knowing that every single time you call a play you have to score because your defense is not going to hold anybody ? And name me one time that he had an offensive line like he has right now to work with?? You can still hate all you want but all he is doing is creating an offense that is more balanced than it ever was under Todd Monken, averaging the exact same amount of points and is averaging more yards per play than anything that Monken done... and the development that he has done with Carson Beck is astronomical, this kid has ice in his veins and no matter what any defense has thrown at him he has performed at the highest level possible, he has thrown for over 250 yards and every start that he's had, regardless of how many different players on offense has been hurt, and the way that this offense is running it incorporates every weapon that Georgia has, in almost every game you'll see Carson complete passes to six and seven different receivers it's not geared on one guy and even the announcers when we play games say that the opposing team's defense has no idea what's going to happen next, they don't even know what to defend because they have no clue where the ball is going. But you can keep hating all you want

    The most glorious thing about this Georgia offense is the number of targets Carson Beck has. When there are 9-10 potential receivers every game, it makes it very hard for opposing defenses to prepare/practice. Seeing D. Bell have a super outstanding game when many opposing teams wouldn’t view him as a viable threat prior is just so dang good. And using Brock as a decoy creates a lot of confusion for opposing defenses and I am here for it. Georgia doesn’t have one or two superstars, they have a team full of selfless superstars and that is the difference. ❤️🖤 Go Dawgs. ❤🖤

    As Pate often says, progress is not always linear. Tennessee feels down this year, but only because Heupel upped the expectations. Look at where we were before Heupel. We could get to 9-4 with a bowl win, and that’d tie for our best season from any coach in the 12 years between Fulmer and Heupel. Even a loss would only make 2015 and 2016 better. Was the Georgia game a bad loss? Absolutely. Does that mean the team isn’t making progress? Absolutely not.

    Also can we finally acknowledge that Kirby Smart & his staff are actually great at coaching & not just relying on talent that THEY recruited? Per 247Sports they're 2nd in overall team talent to Alabama - been like that the last 3 years. Other teams close behind them are OSU, Texas A&M, Texas, LSU, etc. While talent certainly helps, it's only one part of the equation. Kirby is a defensive mastermind & his one weakness was a modernized offense which he now seems to have figured out.

    Carson Beck is playing out of his mind right now! He's got a 75% completion percentage for the season! Not to mention Georgia is the best third down team in college football on offense and defense. That is a stat for you right there to be that dominant on both sides of the ball on one side being dominant and making your third Downs on offense and the other one is stopping the team from moving the chains on that is complete and utter dominance! When you're able to move the chains on third down you're able to keep the defense off balance and wear them down over the course of the game that way by the time you get into the late 3rd and early fourth quarter they're so tired that you can literally run the ball and run out the clock! Also the fact that you have to defend every stitch of grass on the field because that's how deadly Carson Beck spreads the ball around! On Saturday nine different receivers touched the ball! He was also 24/30 for 298 yards passing with 3 touchdowns through the Air! That is what I call being efficient! If he's not in New York then I don't know what college football games people are watching because this man definitely deserves to be in New York!

      This is a significant point that people often miss. It's not that all the 5-star players aren't crucial to UGA's success, but what separates Kirby's staff from many other good coaches is the combination of independent talent evaluation and talent development.
      Mews is a walk-on. McConky was a 2-star when they offered him. Then there's that Bennett fella. The coaches will play whoever earns it, and they know how to turn a work ethic into an on-field asset.

    Georgia has a great team, and Joe Milton must go! I heard some comments I'd never heard before.....one being that Joe puts very little arc on the ball! Listen, I'll admit I was one of the ones who was wrong about Bobo. But you gotta understand where we came from: Years upon years of mediocrity with some of the best talent in the country. Yes, some of that can be pinned on Richt, but the sore spot to us was the constant "run-it-up-the-middle-for-no-gain" on 1st and 2nd down, then a blatantly obvious 10-15 yard pass play that was easily covered. Over. And over. And over. We even saw some of it at the beginning of this year, and I kept shouting "3rd and Bobo!". But I will admit, things have improved.

    I'm okay without a room full of AA receivers if what puts them off is the idea of not being targeted every other passing play and be expected to block a lot. Those are prima donnas and they can go poison the locker rooms of our opposition, win-win. We'll have a shot at them transferring once they've met reality, been to their first lackluster bowl game in a half-empty stadium (or 80% empty for a Miami Hurricanes lackluster bowl) and are ready to be a multifaceted contributor to a top-tier program.

    The only thing Tennessee did well was run defense.
    Our biggest issues are still the secondary, spontaneously atrocious LB play on pass coverage, and most of all our absolutely horrendous AND predictable offensive play calling.
    Losing Golesh was such a huge blow, our defense couldn't be expected to stop UGA at all Saturday given the offense didn't even average 10 plays per drive basically 3 & out'ing each time they touched the field. Milton can't comprehend throwing inside when it's a 1 on 1 down the sideline, and that cost us two huge drive saving or TD plays that possibly at least get some momentum back into the game early on.

      @blondie214 Рік тому

      Playcalling is not an issue. I thought it was too. Looking back at the GA game, we had guys open every play. Joe just can’t find them and if he does he throws a bad pass. We left at least 17 pts on the field due to horrible qb play.

And yet Clemson, with the same record, HAS beaten ranked teams and HAS played competitively against top teams. This committee is a joke. Same with having Missouri over Louisville. Same with LSU - unless you consider Mizzou a good team. Same with Ole Miss - unless you consider LSU a good team. It's as if they are ranking SEC teams high out of habit. @josepha8759 Рік тому

      That's been often said (about clocking the ball in the 2012 SEC C'ship), but I disagree. Georgia had the play Richt wanted already called, and the personnel for that play were on the field, and the Bama defense was winded and on its heels. If you spike it, Bama substitutes to match your personnel and gets a breather. A Bama defensive lineman made a play by batting the ball, and a Georgia receiver instinctively did what receivers do and caught the deflected pass in bounds. Bama made a play. That's football. I'm over 2012. Love our chances against Bama this year. Go Dawgs!
