As a Bills fan, I just love Josh's story. People underestimated him, and took any criticism he received and ran with it. Fast forward to 2024, and he is possibly the best QB the Bills franchise and the NFL has ever seen. We don't want anyone else as our QB in Buffalo, Josh is irreplaceable.
I am also from Firebaugh, CA. Cowboys fan and now a Bills fan lol! The Allen family are such nice people. All the youngsters here love Josh Allen. I love how much he has inspired my nephew to play football.
I am not a Bills fan, but every postseason I find myself rooting them to win the Super Bowl. I root for Josh Allen he should be held as an example to everyone that your critics are not always right. Nobody wanted him, every college coach in the country overlooked him. Given his off field charity and the way in which he treats people he is impossible not to root for in my opinion. He should be held up as an example of what hard work and belief in one’s ability can accomplish.
Buffalo Bills fan for 50 years. This dude an this city are in sync. Josh is a a humble crazy good athlete. Such a wonderful grounded human being. Go Bills❤
To think I was in the majority in thinking we took the wrong Josh in the draft! I didn’t want another project quarterback I wanted the most NFL ready etc. Thankfully we made a choice for the ages. Well done, Go Bills
By having all those traits which are exemplary of success. First and foremost he was blessed with the right tools. Then toss in Hardworking, humility, teamwork, goals, ability to comprehend weaknesses and seek improvement, thankful, respectful, concern for others all top off with a strong unquitting heart. Buffalo's Royality
Growing up on a farm instills A LOT of dedication and devotion. Josh applied those same characteristics to his family's farm, but also to his true love of football. Coupled with his size and talent, he's the NFL's #1 entertainer and winner. SBowl or not, I would rather watch Josh than any athlete in any of the 4 major sports leagues.
To put Josh Allen's productivity into perspective: He has more rushing td's in a single season than Cam Newton ever did (Allen had 15 in '23 and Newton had 14 in '11) He has run for more yards in a single season than Cam ever did (Allen's career high in rushing yards is 763 in '21, Cam's is 754 in '17) And Allen has thrown for more yards in a single season than Brett Favre ever did (4544 yards in '20 compared to Favre's 4413 yards in '95) One of the most talented qb's we've ever seen.
What I find interesting about Josh's productivity is everyone talking about how historic Lamar's 4100/900 season is where he gained 5087 yards. Meanwhile Josh went over 5000 yards 3 years in a row, including over 5100 yards once. Another interesting tidbit: Josh Allen has more wins, more yards gained, and more TDs scored in his first 7 seasons, than any other player in NFL history through the first 7 years of their career. Perhaps most interesting: Josh Allen has more TDs in his first 7 seasons than any other player in NFL history has in their first 8 seasons. Josh has already lapped the field in touchdowns.
@@RageDaugnot just that but people just ignore the fact that Allen has been vastly better in the playoffs than Lamar. In 11 playoff games, 23-4 td to int ratio, plus another 5 rushing tds. Meanwhile Lamar has an 8-6 td to int ratio with 3 rushing tds.
Glaring omission: Allen most likely wouldn’t have developed as a QB with the offseason coaching/training he did with Jordan Palmer. Allen’s unprecedented improvement in completion % was brought about due to a comprehensive 3-D mapping of his throwing mechanics that Palmer had him undergo just after the 2019 season. Palmer used that data to develop a series of specific training exercises to completely rebuild Allen’s throwing from the ground up including footwork and hip/torso rotation. That process unlocked the better accuracy and increased touch in 2020 that unlocked Allen’s full physical potential.
Yeah I’m aware. I mentioned the reworking of his mechanics, I just didn’t include Palmer’s name and the specifics of the training. But yeah, Jordan Palmer helped him tremendously
Bro idk why you’re on my TL but I’m glad you are. How the fuck does a video like this have sub 1000 views? I’ve seen so many half baked NFL pseudo-documentaries with half a million views. You’ve got my like, subscription and gratitude
The most heartbreaking thing about the divisional loss to KC was that the following weekend, the Bengals stopped the Chiefs from scoring before the end of the 1st half by squibbing the last kickoff of the half with 13 seconds left on the clock. KC only had enough time to run 1 play. The coach cost them that game, not the defense.
I don't blame the defensive players, but Leslie Frazier calling a hail mary defense twice in a row, gifting Mahomes with 2 easy 20 yard receptions didn't help matters.
I listened to this whole video. I really hate to rain on your parade, but there is a quarterback in the city of Baltimore that can compete with Josh Allen at every level. The Ravens offense with Lamar Jackson is just as good as the Bills offense. I noticed when you mentioned the part about the 2018 draft class Lamar’s name wasn’t mentioned. A Heisman trophy winner in college, first team All Pro and soon to be 3 time MVP but was the last quarterback picked in the draft. Clearly overlooked by 31 GM’s. Nice video by the way!
The fact that a lot of scouts had Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen ranked ahead of Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson tells u these mfs don’t really know shit. Same scouts were telling me Trevor Lawrence is a generational qb. It happens every single draft and it will happen this upcoming one. I don’t see what purpose these scouts serve
well, it's a mixed bag. the scouts you're hearing from are out to sell mock drafts and subscriptions. in order to do that they need to predict where players will be drafted. NOT predict who will be the better pro. so most draftnixs out there are mostly in the business of talking to NFL front offices and feeling out where players might go in the draft. not doing scouting themselves mostly. as for nfl front offices and what they tell the scouts, you'd be stunned how many NFL owners see the first round of the draft as their's to do with as they please. it's their billion dollar football club so they will stick their noses into the first round picks. and they don't know what the scouting department is saying, they just know mel kiper is having a conniption fit over the fact his no.3 guy on the board is still sitting around at pick 18. so they stick their nose into everything and demand this no.3 on kiper's big board be the pick for the team. and the draftnix know this. so not only they touch base with the front office but the owner if they can as well. and so it's sortof shocking how few teams get to use any of the wonderful scouting information they turned up.,
Funny how the Chiefs were perfectly fine with the overtime rules in the Win over the Bills. But cried about Brady dismantling them in Overtime few years before.
LOLOLOLOLOL Most of the knowledgeable chiefs fans knew it was the swiss cheese defenses fault..Back To Back Champs. Bills Job to stop the 3 peat. Should be fun. Hope to see the Bills fans in KC!
Nobody can convince me he isn’t the best. Lamar’s team has 9 pro bowlers and another MVP candidate in the same backfield. They would make the playoffs with an average qb. If Josh was drafted by Andy Reid, he would have the rings. And if an average QB was on the bills, they are picking in the top 7-8.
Having a 5-2 playoff record with no championship wins is a far cry from 'Taking over the NFL' Maybe this year he can get past Mahomes but it isnt likely
If they lose first round then we can all agree it was a meaningless season. Basically you guys beating the lions made you feel like you won the Super Bowl. This new generation of cfb and nfl, playoffs are the only thing that matter now and reg season is for award voting. So you not going to the Super Bowl and Allen won’t win mvp over Jackson, again completely meaningless season.
Don’t get me wrong josh is absolutely an incredible quarterback, but nobody other than patrick mahomes has “took over” the NFL’s current era. With how good josh, pat, burrow, lamar, etc. all are especially being in the same conference, winning a superbowl is harder than it ever has been. So not really a knock on him But still, hard to say any of the 3 i named that aren’t patrick have taken over the league when none of them have won a ring
Taken over? I’m a die hard Bills fan who’d give up an organ to help Josh out but without any mvps in the regular season or Super Bowl, hard to say he’s taken over the league. Of course, that can all change these next few months
I knew the second I heard Allen call “Tails” the game was over. I remember exactly where I was standing, who was next to me, and what I said to them. “Josh just blew the game”. Then the coin came up Heads. 😞. NEVER call tails in a coin toss! Especially so confidently as Josh did. 12:50
I’m as happy for Buffalo as anyone else, but until Allen can lead the Bills to a Super Bowl he’s about Tony Romo as far as I’m concerned. Same with Lamar Jackson. Would love to see those two teams get back to Super Bowl games but their windows are closing. The Bills and Ravens, with their current core players at least. And this year either one could get to Super Bowl LIX if things go their way and they can minimize mistakes.
Let's face it: Allen is a generational talent. He's not (yet) Brady, he might never be, but he is certainly someone who will NEVER be forgotten by someone fortunate to see him play with his or her own eyes. Whether his athleticism can survive the NFL (God forbid injury) remains to be seen. One bad break (literally) could dim this star, but if there is anyone who doesn't wish his modesty and in-control ego wouldn't spread among all NFL players, well, you and I just will never agree. "It ain't bragging if you can do it." And if you can do it, there's no need to brag. You leave it on the field, go home (to a preternaturally beautiful fiancee) and put the uniform on next week, knowing you are only as good as your last outing.
The title says Mahomes but the video keeps showing Allen. Mahomes was literally called a project that needed to be developed by literally every scout, pundit, and drunk guy at a sports bar. Look I know Bills fans think Allen is the second coming of Christ but his career will end as the Peyton Manning to Mahomes Brady. Still generational but a step down from GOAT.
Josh Allen is above average, but still no superbowl wins. the window is closing on Josh and the Bills. no one cares about regular season stats. Josh needs to win a SB in order to not be called a bust.
