Thanks for video and going to the trouble to let us know how to make these. Agree western red cedar as it’s weather proof. To those critics please just think about putting the boxes out of the sun and in shade obviously. I’m in Tweed Heads area and there’s lots of shady spots to put these. I’ll make a few NB boxes for sure but not sure how to source the native bees
Unfortunately you are making a deal of heartache for those following this instructional.. Firstly ... You would never use MDF .. SECONDLY .. 25MM is way too small , unless you live in Cairns.. Hive boxes made to this design will almost certainly cook in summer.. We should not be making poor boxes that will kill bees.. The particular
