He deserved the MVP a couple of seasons for sure, he will go straight to hall of fame, his game is unique, still at 40s he is posterizing even the refs
Are you kidding me!? The nutmeg over DeRozan then a circus Shot and foul should be considered one of the best plays of NBA history. If mj or kobe had made it would be considered that way . Sorry for my english, hope you guys undserstand me
If you played soccer you actually get used to timing steps when your opponent keeps the pace. As an argentinian, Manu probably played soccer during at least his childhood. If you see an compilation on soccer nutmegs it will probably have several with people striding or running. But to do it in basketball is a lot harder since the distance is greater and you have to adjust not only timing, but height and the bouncing spot.
This isn't just flashy, it's brilliant. If you discombobulate one defender you compromise the entire defense. That this is in his repertoire, and so few others, especially when it is so effective shows just how extraordinarily difficult this is to master. Watch the video of The Professor teaching "the teleport" (a version of the this) to James Harden. Harden is an exceptional ball handler so he gets it pretty quickly. But, it's obvious watching it that it will take, even someone who is at the pinnacle of athleticism, a very long time to master it.

Those who slept in a cave for 6 years and didn't know that the spur are now a exciting offensive minded team, not the slow and tough defensive mind team anymore.
And another player able to lay up after being bumped by Shaq without being a Center. And bloqued prime Dwayne Wade in mid air. And Dunked on Yao Ming, or on the face of 3 Lakers players at the same time.
man, if leonard would've filled that gap when they collapsed on parker off the gorgeous feed, 2 points. pretty much what the entire 2013 campaign was all about.
All Stars are popularity contest... Manu is way smarter than TP, he's miles ahead TP in playmaking, passing and defending, better in stealing, rebounding, 3PT and FT. Manu in it's prime was just as good in offence. Parker is an amazing scorer with incredible speed, but manu is better overall. Parker won a Final MVP, and Manu was 1 vote short on being one in 2005 - in that same finals TP did not do so good -. Plus he has an Euroleague MVP and was by far the best player in the 2004 olympics - they don't handle individual awards -.
Manu is too underrated, he deserves to be part of the Hall of Fame.
He is. Basketball hall of fame is not only for nba. it's also for FIBA.
^^ that and many other accolades in the nba besides four championship trophies. there is no argument that he belongs.
they dont have active players on the hall of fame i think
diego baez I know, I mean when he retires (soon).
He deserved the MVP a couple of seasons for sure, he will go straight to hall of fame, his game is unique, still at 40s he is posterizing even the refs
that last pass in movement was pure science, in a final :)
His brain is superhuman. He will become one of the best NBA coaches. Trust me on that.
This is just pure magic!!!
the sound is so chill, like Manu while playing
fact
Are you kidding me!? The nutmeg over DeRozan then a circus Shot and foul should be considered one of the best plays of NBA history. If mj or kobe had made it would be considered that way .
Sorry for my english, hope you guys undserstand me
The most international player funny to see, underrated, unselfish, smart.
Amazingly unbelievable!
1:46 really glad you included this. it was going to bug the crap out of me, not knowing if Tiago finished the 3 point play or not
Obi Wan Ginobili
Soccer skills introduced to basketball
This man is something else. GSG!
will be a sad day when he retires.
It was 😢
just because he doesn't dunk doesn't mean he's boring. oh wait, he DID dunk.
Manu used to dunk at times yes, and over.... pretty much over every killer
He was always out there, having fun and winning.
Hahaha ! ! Thanks to Ginobili Americans learned to close their legs more often
someone used this move on me today and I immediately knew he was a Ginobili fan lol
How did he time that last one?!?!??!
Voodoo
sometimes, you know how is the best way to make a pass arrive. And manu have the passes in his dna. You can call this "magic".
He really is a special player.
It's crazy right? and it did not happen once of twice...it happens many times and nobody knows how he does it. He is a really special player.
and in all honest he probably didn't quite mean to go through cole's legs
Fucking amazing with this Last of the Mohican shit.
Manu is just amazing idc what anyone says about this man
so glad that last one was included. I was thinking how many passes like that has he made when the shot didn't go in and he didn't get the assist.
What a Genius!!
Skill or sheer luck the last one is nuts!

Manu's voodoo, just pure class.
*Pass
most underrated player ever
He's coming back for another year!!!
you can make his top 100 plays and i would be still wonderful from the beginning
The last one was the most impressive. He knew where the opening between the guys was going to be 2 steps in advance.
Manu Ginobili - Cooking with Nutmeg!
...manu loves nutmeg so much...
That last pass I never forget about it, fucking master perfection
For a football (soccer) nation, that's the most humiliating play, but not so much for you guys. That's why so many of the narrators miss it.
4:50 best
Amazing! Thanks for this video
tunnel, nutmeg, bridge

That last pass is impossible....

Supermanu!!
GINOBLIIIIIII !!!!
Y eso que Ginobili no es el único argentino en jugar con ese estilo xD
that last pass was fucking ridiculous!!!
Again...anyone who says this man is over rated...find me another 6th man with a 8 min video montage of ONLY BETWEEN THE LEGS PASSING. Whaaaaat.
And another player able to lay up after being bumped by Shaq without being a Center. And bloqued prime Dwayne Wade in mid air. And Dunked on Yao Ming, or on the face of 3 Lakers players at the same time.

3rd best player in Spurs history behind Tim and Dave. Sorry Ice.
Parker is better than Manu
+Der Danho manu es mas jugador en todo sentido.

Gambeta y caño
Ginobili is a wizard. It's not fair to use actual magic in a basketball game.
how can you stop that?
Master of five-hole!
Basically the Shroud of basketball.
Wow
What song is this?
2:31 What does the commentator say? "He went with the_______, that's a soccer term" Sorry English isn't my first language.
He said nutmeg... It's used in soccer when someone kicks the ball between someone else's leg.
Your genius...double play using legs of opponent..
What is the music being used on here?
John, the music is Promentory by Trevor Jones
Thank you
Just search Last of the Mohicans song on UA-cam
music from the movie The last mohican
it's the music manu naturally makes on the court, mic'd up
the only reason why he wasn't an all-nba first teamer was because kobe and dwyane were around.
The last of the mohicans ?
es el Messi del básquetbol
The last one is lucky
Can he bacome a Hall of Famer ???
sure
Aldrin Rivas He will, theres no one thats says that he wont. He is a top 10 SG of NBA history, and a top 3 international player.
last of the mohicans!
Maybe on your next video you can have babies crying as the background music. It'd be an improvement.
Manu HOF.
5:10 The evidence: Reptilians plays basquet very good!
The music is terrible on this video.
Like your face.
So unselfish player.
is it pragmatism or showing off? Sometimes he just doesn't see an other option.
Can he bacome a Hall of Famer ???
yes he can he has 3 rings
hollow828
make that 4 babyyy!!!!!!
even without the 4th ring he is, esp with his international play
He's bound to. 4 rings, Olympic champion, Euroleague champion, you name it, he's got it...
kevin lin 4 now.. He is one of the best players in history..
