    I remember being 18 years old in the summer of 2005 being nervous of moving away from home for college and watching Ginobili play gave me some peace and entertainment and took my mind off of things. Ginobili with long hair in that glorious 2005 title run. Now almost ten years later me now at the age of 27 after everyone dogged ginobili and told him to retire after the dissapointing 2013 finals Manu gets redepmtion and puts on one more brilliant finals performance for us. Now old bald and a step slower he still finds a way to put on last brilliant performance for us. and it brought tears to my eyes. He was never Jordan or Kobe or Wade. Just an ordinary hero with the heart and competitiveness of a Lion. Thanks manu.

      @@alejandrorodriguez-kt8nk Maybe in terms of raw skill Manu wasn't as good as them but in the athletic aspect he was at their level. He was a really professional athlete and a though man both psychologicaly and phsyically, that's why he could stand in NBA with a high competetive level for so long inspite his age.

      Very under rated, he gave Kobe the business since day one, tough defender, great passer, great shooter, he seems to me like the combination of Bird and Magic looking at this video, if he didn't do more was because he was very disciplined and followed his coach instructions, if you want your kid to be a great basquetball player, study Mamu's game, again, very very under rated

      Manu legit might have the best highlight reel of all-time when you combine the passing, clutch shots, finishing balls out reckless drives to the basket, posterizing defenders, freak/clutch defensive plays, and making some of the best athletes on planet earth look downright puzzled on how to stop him from doing whatever the fuck he wants.
      I truly believe he’s a top 5 all-time SG and outside of Kobe, he was the best of his time in the league for the bulk of his entire career at the position.
      He arguably sacrificed more individual accomplishments and accolades than any player ever, when you look at his actual stats vs what anyone who watched him over the years knows he was capable of. He was, along with guys like Bird and Magic, the consummate team player/winner.

No shame in the truth over here that Ganobli is without a doubt the best 6th man to play this game.. saying that James Harden is like him is totally wrong.. Ganobli and his beyond crafty wizardry and play making is hands down one of the best I've ever seen in the league.. The man is the only one EVER to win championships on all levels NBA, top EURO League and a Olympic Gold metal with Argentina... First three plays of the game: he gets three steals and makes three dunks, one of which reverse. I was 11 year-old. I still remember it like it was yesterday. He goes off the radar so easily, but when you see footages like these (and this may sound like a stretch) he's a very possible hall of famer. Even though he's not in his prime anymore this guy is a monster on the court in various ways; he's smart in a completely different way than just shooting. You name it, he does it. Blocking, shooting, making plays for his teammates, throwing passes and bullet passes like no other player in the league could. He's blocked every big time player today, at least once and that includes Lebron and Wade. All-time underdog, but he doesn't care, he does all of it for the team. He's got my full respect.

    Sin duda un jugador que marcó un antes y un después en la NBA sobre todo para jugadores extranjeros...
    Manu, fuiste sos y serás siempre un crack!

    This dude is a top 5 shooting guard of all time...playing in the San Antonio system has deprived him of personal accolades but I have a feeling the guy couldn't care less about that crap...the league marketed guys like Bryant and Wade (and rightfully so) but if I'm putting a team together I'd take Ginobili in his prime before either of those two

    • @jasonsal6742
      @jasonsal6742 3 роки тому +6

      I would definitely agree. His winning percentage is off the charts! It's even higher then Duncan's and he's been a winner everywhere he went just like Duncan. Also when u take his missed/made shots, min per game the data shows Manu Ginobili production wise is almost equal with Kobe. He is clutch, has that killer instinct, and his determination to finish at the rim that Kobe and Jordan have. Plus he beat team USA that was Jordan like. He won a Euro title, NBA title, and gold medal! That is Jordan like. Phenomenal special players don't come around often.💯 I can't say how blessed I was to see the Spurs not have one phenomenal special player but two. That's why what the Spurs accomplished "highest winning percentage of all sports" which I don't think will ever be duplicated again.💯✌️

    Whoa. I watched a ton of spurs basketball over the years and sure enjoyed Manu. He has so many amazing plays and he’s not a guy you say yea but he takes plays off or he takes a lot of bad shots. He just gives his 100% on every single play out there and usually is successful. Hall of famer for sure!

    So glad Manu got his 4th ring. He and the Spurs had a rough time in the past years, especially that 2011 (correct me if I'm wrong) when Manu was MVP-like for the Spurs, only to get injured before the playoffs, causing us to be evicted in the first round. Well, that was and still is a tough Grizzlies team though.
