Manu Ginobili - All Game Winners of his Career (11)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 жов 2024
- Manu Ginobili is widely considered to be one of the clutchiest players in the history of the San Antonio Spurs, but his reputation has mainly arisen by his numerous momentum-shifting, series changing and sometimes championship clinching shots, blocks, or steals.
Here though, are 9 out of the 11 game-winners of his NBA and international career (FIELD GOALS ONLY) in chronological order:
1. August 15, 2004: Argentina 83 - Serbia 82 (buzzer beater, floater over Igor Rakočević)
2. February 21, 2008: Spurs 100 - Timberwolves 99 (jumper over Randy Foye and Greg Buckner w/ 6.2 secs)
3. April 19, 2008: Spurs 117 - Suns 115 (PO, 2OT, layup over Raja Bell w/ 1.8 secs)
4. December 15, 2010: Spurs 92 - Bucks 90 (buzzer beater, jumper over Luc Mbah a Moute)
5. December 16, 2010: Spurs 113 - Nuggets 112 (circus shot over JR Smith and Arron Afflalo w/ 4.2 secs)
6. May 6, 2013: Spurs 129 - Warriors 127 (PO, 2OT, 3-pointer w/ 1.2 secs)
7. January 7, 2014: Spurs 110 - Grizzlies 108 (OT, go ahead reverse layup w/ 3.6 secs in 4th quarter, layup past Ed Davis w/ 1.8 secs in OT)
8. December 8, 2017: Spurs 105 - Celtics 102 (3-pointer over Al Horford w/ 5 secs)
9. December 16, 2017: Spurs 98 - Mavericks 96 (layup past Wesley Matthews w/ 3.1 secs)
Eventual GW field goals -
10. October 31, 2007: Spurs 104 - Grizzlies 101 (layup w/ 32.4 secs) Grizzlies intentionally fouled Manu, but he went perfect from the line until the end of the game.
11. December 31, 2014: Spurs 95 - Pelicans 93 (layup w/24 secs) Pelicans intentionally fouled Duncan w/ 1 sec to go.
All rights to NBA and the Olympic Games
Laker fan here. This guy gave the Lakers a lot of trouble through so many years. This guy deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Much respected player.
Manu, the MVP of South America of all time. Brilliant, genious! A brazilian fan.
Oscar Schmidt?
@@justafanintexas7913 Srsly? 😂
Jere Aguirre - Seriously.........
L
sad you never saw Oscar Schimdt because you wouldn´t say the flop king isthe best of S.America! BTW Rolando Blackmon (Panamanian) is the best Latino 2-guard to ever play.
After the second play I can read his lips saying "me apure" " I hurried up" because there was like 5 secs on the clock. This man was a winner and a perfectionist. One of the greatest competitors of all time
Great detail !!
Even at 40 he is still one of the best closers in the game.
It still blows my mind that he had not one, but 2 game winning shots his last season!
Tanasen INVENCIBLE GINOBILI
I'm exactly a year older than Manu to the day and I feel old as fuck, haha. I'm basically Vince's age and I can't imagine running around as much as he is. Lori Laughlin is also a July 28er along w/ me and Manu. Naughty girl. Still bangable. The butches in the joint will love her.
nonplayerzealot4 LoL 😂
It has been a true blessing to have watched him play his whole career with the spurs. Got to see him live and loved every sec of it. He would be on my dream team any day. You couldn’t find that talent with the unselfishness and heart in any other player. The end of a golden era of team loyalty/team first mentality.
ginobili despite his weird moves got to manage every aspect of the game at a high level: blocks, score, clutch, fakes, passes, you name it he did it all, the mofoka even took a flying bat down on a game
Also his willingness to sacrifice his body. This dude took charges like no other, and in fact, he once took a charge so hard that one of his testicles got smashed and he ended up having to get a prosthetic. Fuck man, talk about the ultimate team player!
The greatest spurs era is over. The games will never be the same. Going miss Duncan, Parker, and my fave Ginobiliiiiiii!!!!.
The great thing is that they got to play in their primes before the nba became soft and less talented.
Oh how i miss my real spurs, everytime i heard my teams name SPURS, DUNCAN, GINOBILI AND PARKER WOULD ALWAYS POP UP IN MY HEAD! THEY WILL BE MISSED DEEPLY!.
The Olympic gold medal shot says everything. Freaking finisher and the game winning ability!
It's seems like manu had 1100 game winners . It was such a pleasure to watch him play.
What about when he blocked harden?
Didn't make the list on a technicality but I agree it should've been put in
It wasn't an offensive bucket, which is what this video is about probably.
because do you know the difference between a made shot and a block?
Dez nuts
@@kallestoffers4300 the video says game winners. Technically, a defensive stop is a game winner. The title should say game winning field goals or game winning shots.
Been a manu fan even already, and is so amazed that after watching those yearly highlights, I discovered that he has lots of buzzer beater or down to the last 2 secs shots of his career, and when you mean lots, there are many.
Manu is a GOAT, the St Louis Rams were once called the greatest show on turf, Manu is the greatest show on the court.
what a compliment!
Manu played his heart out 110% 0f the time , such intensity and passion for basketball made him one of the best of all time. Love ya Manu.
Manu your the man.
Ginobili is HOF material
los compañeros lo dejaron pelado, de tanto tocarle la cabeza, cada vez que metía un winer
Jajaja!
It ain't over til Manu says it's over.
There's no shortage of heart from this dude
So. Clutch.
Thank Ginobli for so many great memories. From a Spurs fan, I have loved your game.
#GoSpursGo
Manu will truly be missed💯💯💯
manus prime (2005-2008) vs harden
eurostep: manu
passes: manu
IQ; manu
scoring: harden
defense: manu
athleticism: harden
quickness: manu
clutch time: manu
2008, no. Ginobili prime: 2005-2011. Then he started with the injuries again and his game changed.
Nope wrong again. Prime was in 2004 led his country to gold and entering his 3rd year nba. (Made all star) . Will never know what kind of stats manu would put up cuz he came off the bench So the spurs would always have Tim or manu on the court
You are wrong. I m talking about NBA career only.
Yeah his prime was that year in 2004. Cuz in summer of 04 he won gold medal and start of nba regular season is in Oct. He made his 1st all star in Feb 05 because of what he did oct04-feb05.
Killa Shark well said
Pop and Buford might be the masterminds behind the scenes
Duncan and Robinson might be the rock where the foundation was set
Parker and the rest could be parts of the soul of the Spurs but the Heart of the Spurs has always been Manu and always will be Manu
GM Popovich let Bob Hill mold the team and then fired him and took over.
Future Hall of famer💯
Manu ginobili your the man who have big history on spurs
The first one from the 2004 Olympics was still the best IMHO.
Damn never realized how clutch Manu was
GiNOBiLiiiiii
Respect
Salute
Manu GiNOBiLiiiiii
he inspired the nba
Love this guy!!!
0:18 I thought the refs just jumped on him for his game-winning shot lol
The greatest if not the best Euro league player of all time
He is from Argentina 🇦🇷.
Location: South America.
the Michael Jordan of Argentine basketball history
What I always found amazing about Manu was that he mostly played 6th man. Duncan would keep the stability through out the game but the argentine was the one who would make things happen.
His clutch shooting was just amazing.
Probably the greatest six man of his era and together with Oscar Schimdt from Brazil and Jose Ortiz from Puerto Rico,
the three greatest players from Latin America.
this three are really fantastic and the best three players from latin america, by manu by far is the best one, such what a player he was, complete as fuc and most important a closer one
I wish y'all showed the charge after the game winning shot against Denver my favorite Manu moment!!! My mom literally yealled at me to STFU cuz she was already asleep but I was so hyped I was like "MOM U SHOULDA SEEN IT GINOBILI WITH THE UGLY ASS SHOT THEN TAKING THE CHARGE ON MELO FOR THE W !!!! OMG 😝
Here is something that active players of the spurs dont have, being a CLUTCH player!!
On that Denver game, you should have kept the next possession where Manu drew a charge on a gw Melo layup. Shit was bananas.
The last ball is for ever of Manu, ever
Man ima miss dis guy hopefully he put on a vintage performance in da playoffs
Manu cold blooded.
Im sad manu ginobili has 5yrs left in his career.
You didn't get the joke...
Truly sad :( at least he'll bring home more champions :)
😂
sneijder023 me too
sneijder023 lol
THANK YOU Manu Ginobili #Goat
Clutchest player with the clutchest shot ever recorded.
top 10 SG of all time
He's been underrated throughout his career coz he's coming off the bench but I'm not a Spurs fan and he's a superstar.
Clutch shots, leadership, and be the go to guy....if he was on a different team, he would have average 25-30 ppg. I'd say he's a top 10 player coz he's a 2 way player and his IQ is way higher than Kobe.
Shaq in his prime and Ginobili could have won a championship too. People will argue about Reggie Miller and Drexler carried their teams but Ginobili could have done that too if he had the chance. Manu is big time come playoff time. IMO, he could have been the James Harden with better defense and more athletic.
Top 10
Top 1
Top 2
Top 5 sg to ever played the game. He destroyed team USA full of superstars in the OLYMPICS. If he can score 29 against USA, no doubt he can avg 30 against every nba teams with 1-3 star players.
Gonna miss Manu ..same way i miss Tim ..
I came here to ginobili video because he's retired now and a true legend indeed
¡Canashhhhhhtaaaa!
Thanks for all the memories champ. God bless you in your journey after basketball.
FIRST BALLOT
BucketsBasketball No doubt !!!!
Feels like hes got much more gamewinners than Lebron+Harden.
@Federico Perez LeBron has a ton of game winners what are you on
@@darkorlightz the funny thing is i dont think LBJ has ever actually blamed a loss on teammates. Usually lebron stans do so and then people annoyed by them project that attitude on Lebron
@@diegorocha2826 JR Smith?
@@IAngelitoI aight well i dont know if he straight out pointed the finger but that was some other shit, ill give you that
Oh how we miss Manu....
thanks for the video. but should have included that drawing camelo anthony's charge too, that's also a game winner
First Ballot for sure
Clutch shooter manu
Manu Goatbili

@ 5:38 I was there! Awesome!!!
🗿WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER
🏀🌅THE LEGEND OF MANU))))
Ginobili was deadly man.
MJ>Kobe>Wade>Ginobili>Harden. My top 5 SG of all time.
@Gary Nicks I'm not disagreeing with you. I bought a ticket to the 2002 FIBA championships in Indianapolis to see Yao Ming's first appearance and it was a doubleheader. First game was Spain vs Argentina. Argentina had this dude was playing like MJ. He slashed, created for his teammates, played lockdown D, hit from 3...that guy was Ginobili. I'd love for him to come back to the Spurs as an assistant coach with Timmy.
greatest spurs player of all time
Timobili Parkovich
0.o
lets face it, ginobili was the closer on that spurs team
Eterno Manu Ginobili, no te retires nunca
Ginobiliiiiiiiiiiiiii!
Manu a beast! I love watching him play , HOF! Go Celtics BTW 😋
MANUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...
Goat
San Antonio Spurs!! Manu Ginobili Genious!!
game winners doesnt mean are not only scores! Manu had a game winner blok either to Harden
İnniAbdullah thats a game saver
He also had the game winning charge right after his game winning shot against the nuggets! Epic night!
Ocean 5: Manu Ginobili, Jason Kidd, Scottie Pippen, Steve nash, Dennis "The Worm" RODMAN.
Hall of fame
Vamooooo Manu!!!!
grande gino
Jordan, Kobe, Wade, Drexler, Ginobili
He's much more than a sixth man .
From 58th pick in the draft to Hall of Famer
57th actually
Sem dúvida o melhor jogador sulamericano de basquete da História.
Ginobili was playing good way before the NBA
El mejor manu
No importa si era Pelobili o Calvobili, siempre letal 💞
Manu dare I say, might be as great as Larry Legend in terms of clutch moments. When the game is on the line, they both shine.
This is why new school will never beat old-school.
His IQ is so high a little move he make will make a defender think twice.
I was at the Boston one!
i imitated his euro step and its very effective in the game.
The real GOAT. Manu > MJ
Ryann I. De Guia yes sir
Manu has 11 game winners while Jordan had 141. Pull your head out out your ass. Jordan has multiple repeats and MVP's. But the Schnoz is better? Put down the crack pipe. Manu isn't a pimple on Jordan's nor Pippen's for that matter.
you overdid it man! lol
QUE JUGADOR!!!
LEYENDA.
I remember watching the Boston one god those where good times🥲
Magic killer
“Mama, their goes that man”
from zero to hero
The shots get bigger and bigger and his bald spot gets bigger and bigger
That block on harden should be a game winner to
Super Manu
