One thing I like about Brad is he films the content he wants, how he wants, and it's no nonsense. He shows you the good, the bad. No clickbait. Not putting his wife in a bikini in the thumbnail. Just a dude doing what he loves and sharing it with us. Respect.
Good morning Brad and Shaun, I myself am very thankful, happy and excited to share this one in a lifetime journey with both of you, I am really enjoying these videos, you both take care, enjoy and God bless
Brad and Shaun, thank you for letting us be part of your journey and sharing your adventure to the Arctic Circle. Glad you made it. you guys are awesome!!,...please drive safe home!!
What a fabulous adventure! Some of that scenery was breathtaking. I have no doubt that a lot of emotions swept over the two of you throughout this journey.
Brad, it was so exciting to see you reach the goal that you had planned for so long. I’m glad that you are enjoying the freezing weather, but I will just stay at home and watch you and Sean on your travels!
20:47 there are a few of us that understand the sentiment of doing something that no one else understands. I rode a motorcycle from Florida to Alaska, furtherest we made it was cold foot due to road conditions. Being on motorcycles the danger factor is multiplied. People just look at you funny and say why would you do that. Making it to the Arctic circle was amazing and fulfilling. I am planing on doing the Dempster, but this time it will be in my Gladiator and my wife can go.
In 2011 I went from ontario canada down to arizona and then back up through canada to the arctic circle on my motorcycle .A 3 month trip of a lifetime. You guys are having a great trip .have fun and be safe.
There were a lot of motorcycles on it when we were there. It is the dust I would not enjoy dealing with on the Dempster. The people that impress me are the ones that do it on bicycles which I would not want to do and I ride a lot of miles.
I've not been able to drive for 6 months because of a seizure after brain surgery, but now I am two days away from driving my Jeep again, so I've been catching up on Brad's adventures. I just have a weekend trip to Yellowstone planned for the 13th-15th, but that is epic enough for me right now. Thanks for sharing all this Brad!
Awesome video as always Brad. This has been an epic adventure can’t wait to one day make the journey to the Arctic Ocean my self. Thanks for letting us ride along with y’all on y’all’s adventures.
Also video series Brad. I may never make the trip to the Artic Ocean so I appreciate the footage you have provided. It is almost like I was taking the trip. Thank you and safe travels.
Brad and Shaun, I have been following this entire set of videos and I have been so fascinated with the scenery, the animala, and all your stops, especially Dawson City. I just couldn't keep from smiling through all of the tour through Dawson City. I have enjoyed every minute of your vidios Brad and I want to wish a safe trip home. Thank you for taking us along with you. Be safe!
Welcome to the "Arctic Circle Club". I crossed back in 1970 on my way to a remote AF radar site. I have really enjoyed seeing your trip, seeing the scenery. Thank you so much for filming this for us to enjoy.
Congratulations to you and Shaun, you have been an inspiration for me to retire and take the plunge into overlanding. You have saved me a lot of research time and I really enjoy your videos.
Mary and I plus two of our longtime friends made the trek from Indiana to Tuk and we arrived 6/12/24. We also felt like kids after arrival. The moment of accomplishment was powerful. Saw some moose and a handful of bears on our trip. We are also veterans of the Sore Toe Cocktail in Dawson City. Enjoyed your video!
What an epic trip. I took a team of British Army soldiers from Suffield to Tuktoyaktuk in the Feb/Mar of 2004. We spent 5 nights in the snow with the Canadian Rangers outside Dawson City and a subsequent couple of nights in Inuvik before taking the ice road to Tuk. Amazing scenery throughout the entire journey. Very different in winter though!
An amazing journey! Thank You Brad (and Shaun) for sharing this! I love visiting all the places you go to through your videos and I can't wait to see where we go next!!
One shining moment (actually many). Exceptional story line and videos showing progress from the US border all the way to the Arctic 'tip' and the experiences (ups & downs) along the way. The video was stunning, & the Dempster segment so memorable.A long way from S Cal. friend, but a good & joyous time, by you & your friend as you finally saw the ice, camped & walked into the midnight sun waters. The memory for you, will last forever. I'm very happy for you.
Oh guys.....Great adventure. My brother and I drove the Dempster in 1979. I still have a book of matches from the Eagle Plains Motel, at least I think I could still find them, somewhere in my dresser....hahhah. For us, no ferry at the Peel River. Parked the trucks at the ferry approach, walked a couple hundred yards downstream (I could see the clump of trees in your overhead shots), and introduced ourselves to a family running a fish wheel. The son agreed to give us a ride across the river. On the other side, we, fortuitiously, were offered a ride on into Ft. McPhoo. Great little community at the edge of the world filled with extraordinarily friendly people. We didn't make it to the Beauford Sea, but our trip of a lifetime. It's interesting how little has changed in the last almost half-century. Thanks so much for letting us share in your adventure. Well done and be safe.
We were up there just weeks before you and had to cross the frozen rivers! Due to a snow storm we had to divert once we got to INuvik. We learned they were about to close the rivers. On the way back the gladiator broke thru the ice just before the edge. Thankfully the front tires caught the ice and brought us back out of the water. Great series Brad! Loved the memories up there!
Hi Brad, thank you for sharing your amazing adventure today Arctic Ocean. People like me only can dream of this.. your videos inspired all of us to go there and have our own adventures thank you so much. This is one of the best videos I’ve ever seen for Overlander.
Greetings from Poway, CA.......Thoroughly enjoy all the videos, but this trip tops them all! What and adventure. Congratulations on making it to the top of the world!
Brad, What a trip and you finally made it. I think this was a bucket trip because it is truly the last frontier. The scenery, the adventure, and the fact that you got your shell back many years ago. Now master chief, you have your own version of Blue Nose making it to the Arctic Ocean, just not on a big gray boat. Congrats on a safe trip, and many more safe miles. Enjoyed every installment of the adventure. Gods speed , and flowing seas. Semper Fi
Brad and Shaun, I probably won’t be able to experience your adventure in person myself, so “thank you” for taking me a long this amazing journey. Love the views…
This series has been so exciting to watch. I just watched where you and Shaun finally found camp along the Dempster Highway. Spectacular view oh my gosh. I've been watching for years and I got a little emotional there thinking about how far this channel has come. Quality content unmatched! Thank you for bringing us along on these amazing adventures!
Bravo!! I think this was the best one yet out of your Arctic Series. It’s amazing how the story can feel so different just looking through someone else’s lens, even though it’s the same exact journey. Incredible journey! Thank you for taking the time to bring us along for the ride through your amazing videography and editing. Looking forward to the next one!
I must say I follow both you and Shaun and it’s been amazing to see how the same journey is so different. You both cover this journey in such different perspectives and it was absolutely amazing!! Thanks for sharing and inspiring!!!
Congratulations Brad on making it to such an amazing and beautiful place that few people get to see in person. That section with the river ice breaking up was something else! Your journey there has been epic and so fun to watch, and getting to spend it with Shaun is awesome. Maybe someday I will make it there, at least I hope so. 🙏
Sir, thank you so much for the stunning views of parts of this world I will likely never see. Your videos are amazing! Some day when you have some time to spare you should make a video of nothing but all the earth footage you taken ... would make a great play on the tv!
Gentlemen, you guys are driving in my dreams! I might never have the opportunity to hit the off-roads like this, so I really appreciate the videos you made and shared with us, thanks a lot!
What an absolutely amazing adventure for you. But getting there is only half the story. Now for the trek back home and the much deserved holiday with Regina.
This was so much fun and interesting to watch. I am a recent Jeep Wrangler owner and looking forward to creating my own adventures. Your videos are so helpful with understanding equipment, upgrades, planning, etc. Thanks so much. And thanks for your service.
Great adventure!! I’ve been following Shaun and your version of the trip good stuff. The BC guys they’re the real deal. I met Shaun at a Patreon run and some of his friends great people. But so far my favorite part is the beginning when Shaun took you to the fire tower into the mud because I know you love mud.😂
I’ve Driven the Dempster all the way to Tuk in an F-250 with an Adventurer camper. But I did it in early March. And frankly I think that’s the time to go. Close to 12 hours sun, smooth (glare ice) road, easy crossing of the Pearl and MCKenzie. And no bears. No dist. No mosquitos. The downsides: it’s cold. Got down to -35f. So you better have a stout rig. Also it doesn’t usually snow that time of year but what is there can blow around resulting in no visibility
I'll bet that was a great experience and we considered doing it on the end of winter, but for me, I enjoy sitting outside and soaking in the environment, taking short hikes and if it's -35 I feel like I would miss some of those moments.
it looks like you've stepped up your drone game a bit, cinematography looks amazing! I hope you enjoyed this trip, looking foreward to what's coming next.
What an amazing trip. I've been following both you and Shaun on your channels since you began the trip (and many of your other adventures as well). I feel like I've been there with you via computer screen. The scenery and drone footage is amazing! I was excited for you both reaching your destination goal. Back in the day this would've been a TV documentary with helicopters and you've done this all yourselves with drones. Glad you enjoyed it!
Better enjoy that cold weather. Cause it's over a hundred degrees Back at home
