omg, the camera lady is over talking the expert! good info though :)
Camera lady on my nerves . Had to stop watching
For future reference, if someone is willing to spend their time helping you show a tutorial, then don't talk over them. It's common courtesy. It was difficult hearing her over you.
Yes ughhhhhh terrible !!!!
AGREE!!!
I was actually trying to listen to what the expert in this tutorial was saying and this whoever is speaking over her ruined it and I will not watch this or subscribe or any of these videos again because this person filming ruined the whole thing for my husband and I are trying to find the information we needed. Thanks. For nothing whoever you are camera person
The camera person makes this video very annoying. I stopped watching.
Camera lady needs to let the expert talk 🤦
Camera person = Not person in front of camera. Let her talk.
WOW!!!!!! I wish the narrator would be quiet and let Jamie do here thing its annoying! Good video though
Camera lady should let Jamie talk. Was so very hard to make it all the way through, what looked like, an otherwise interesting video.
Camera lady on speed?
Great instructional video appreciate ya
That is crazy cool! Good information.
Glad you liked it!
If you are changing colors (I want to paint ivory cabinets black), how do you paint the back of the door? Do you need a primer or different paint?
Do the video again with a tripod, please.
Irritating doesn’t even come close.
Camera lady spoilt it so annoying get a camera tripod and film yourself
You really like the sound of you own voice
Camera lady terrible !!!! I really wanted to hear this then I can't get through it.
I just used Elmer’s glue all to the front of it (underneath the vinyl) in an attempt to “fix” them 🤦🏻♀️ and now my husband says he wants to paint them. Did I just totally ruin it???
Demonstrator is excellent. However, camera lady loud and annoying and a bad distraction.
This could have been a very good tutorial but I just wish the person filming would have stop talking and saying hello to everyone coming into the place, OMG!!!! I wanted to hear the lady that was actually doing the work. Please consider this next time. The tutorial was practically ruined. Painful to watch for that reason.
Yes, had to turn off volume and just watch.
This was amazing!!! Thank you can’t wait to do this. I have 2 questions now,; For a Quick fix can this heat gun repair the pealing bottom corner? And What is the best paint for this cabinet once that cover is pealed off? Thanks so much MsDaWn🌈❤️🐽
Hello Dawn! You are welcome, with the heat gun you can remove the pealing part, but pay attention as Thermofoil is usually applied as a single sheet you may need to remove the entire piece. We offer a no sanding, no priming, no waxing and no chalk paint system for cabinets find out more at www.fb.me/rethunkjunkbylaura/ you can order online of find a local retailer at www.rethunkjunkbylaura.com. Happy Rethunking!
How can I paint the INSIDE part of the door?
I'm doing my cabinets and want to paint the inside panel also. Thanks.
That false soprano trans is really spoiling and otherwise very interesting and instructional video, please, switch to decaf.
This was filmed three years ago so I hope by now the person operating the shaky, out of focus camera who was talking to other people while the presenter was talking has been replaced by a tripod.
She didn't know about the green ones. Some of them have wax on them which requires removal with Naphtha and sanding.
So if you can just paint them, then why didn't they just paint them in the first place?
Okay what about the press crap I’m trying to paint I have washed it down lightly stand it and then use gripper primer on it now I have paint color on it and it has been a week before I have put anything on top of it and when I went to move it the paint was started peeling up ugh
Omg camera lady ffs
Subtitles with steps would be helpful
Summary: use a heat gun or a hairdryer on the front surface to remove the laminate from the cabinet door. Once removed, you can paint as normal, no need to prep the surface.
hi! I am thinking of doing this for our kitchen - and how sure are you that there will be no prepping for surface needed? and that it is ready to be painted? Is there not glue or whatever used to stick the thermofoil to the bare cabinets? I know that they used heat and pressure for that, but i just want to make sure. Thanks!
I popped some of mines off, didn’t see any glue on the cabinet doors probably because of them being shrink wrapped, but some glue is on the cabinets themselves where you pull it off - glued on
The narrator is an absolute pain to listen to
Started watching and stopped, two people talking at once drives me nuts!
Oil based or water based paint?
It is water based, Rethunk Junk by Laura Resin Paint, Low odor and quick drying!
Hey, Sponge Bob, calm the f down.
My ex did this by accident, resting a hot hairdryer on one of my bathroom cabinet drawer doors.
Thanks
Wow can the camara lady be anymore annoying.
Camera lady needs to find another job, had to stop watching, shaky, out of focus and she talks to other people too much!
Can the camera person's voice be edited out? So annoying and distracting, had to stop watching.
