I can’t wear short skirts and high boots either. I always go for flatter equestrian boots which are lovely to walk in and longer A line skirts. The challenge then is finding a jacket that works. I think it needs a more fitted jacket, but this isn’t on trend right now. I also think the short skirt would look better if the jacket met the hemline of the skirt. I’ve seen other women do this and it looks so chic!
You are one of my fav UA-camrs. I always look to you for advice as I build my luxury collection. I just purchased the same one in *suluxy* . Keep up the great
I see a video from you, I Like, then I watch! I know they’re all going to be good. I especially like these Before and After ones. I love wearing short skirts with matching tights and tall boots (knee-high or thigh-high), even though I’m “older”, 64, my legs still look really good, thanks to my two Grandmas’ DNA, both had awesome legs into their late 80s. Fortunately, as a petite, “mini-skirts” or “short skirts” are rarely too short for me, many come to just a few inches above my knees. Being small and short does have a few advantages, this is one. I don’t just wear black tights and boots, but all my basic colors from taupe to brown or burgundy to navy. Tights are very trendy now, but for the visually lengthening effect, I always match them to my skirt and boots (same hue, at least). Being a dress/skirt wearer primarily, if I didn’t wear some shorter skirts, my choices would be a lot more limited. I like all lengths, but love the variety of different colors ones, and longish midis are probably the least flattering length. Maxis look great, but aren’t all that practical.🙂
I still love my LV reverse monogram LYXBAGS clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
Hello beautiful lady, I have been a regular on your website and I only recently found your YT channel. Just wanted to say, amazing work❤! Very grateful for all your tips!
Chi, layering and proportion ideas are always useful, especially as fashion changes. Thank you. I had the same realization with jacket lengths, oversized and/or long = playing dress-up. 😝 Man, this comment section already. 😆 Some of us are headed into winter, some of us are headed into summer, and some of us live in summer year-round. Layering is for all locals, even air conditioned tropics!
Sorry chi, but I have to agree. Can't wear heels or those short skirts. The white double breasted coat is just waay too big. It's not very practical draping the beige coat on your shoulders and also tying it with the belt wouldn't be very warm since it doesn't actually button up. (Im thinking winter here 🥶)
She showed multiple options not just the skirt. She likes heels so that's what she wears. Is she supposed to buy every single type of a shoe to accommodate all of her subscribers?
Hi. What other options would create the same outfit balance as a short skirt? I am 72 and my thighs/legs are NOT great looking in a short skirt, so I won't wear them. Please advise about alternative clothing pieces. Many thanks!
I am 71 and have found that longer skirts/slacks look best with shorter length/cropped sweaters or jackets, while just above the knee skirts can still be worn with matching colored tights and shoes or boots with a somewhat longer sweater or jacket. At least this has worked for me. I do prefer the thicker tights though.
I am not young either but I have found very good luck with the black tights lined with skin tone fleece. It keeps everything covered and smooth and warm, but makes you look like you are wearing sheer black tights.
Chi, love your videos. Thanks. The music is too loud in comparison to the voice. Also too repetitive. I liked when you used Classic music, like Bach, Mozart, etc. Most influencers use the most boring mind numbing music.
... I just saw first half and I'm not watching further. Girl, you compare comfortable, warm outfit to dressing up and being cold. It doesn't have sense if you can't make outfits that are comfortable and keep you warm like "ugly" outfits this video doesn't make sense. Would I like to dress up like on the right everyday? Yea, but I choose not to freeze and being tired after wearing high heels everyday...
@@mostlyharmless6x9 I didn't say I don't care lol I just think when you're giving fashion advice and comparing bad vs good outfits you should show how you can dress well, but not give up comfort and warmth. Like come on, these are fall/winter clothes. I would like to know how can I improve my style without freezing to death and catching a cold every time...
@@misty4483 I did and yes, only the last advice is somewhat valid... But still high heels. Like what, it's impossible to dress well if you can't wear high heels for longer time?
You can follow the layering guidelines while dressing casual and functional. You probably have to get creative or go with luxury athleisure . Flat boots can still have shape and little heels that will dress them up (like say timberlands). If they lengthen your profile will depend on the shoe and how it looks on you. Get a long mirror and take private selfies with different things on. You'll find what works
wearing jeans, flats and a blazer, nooo too basic, switch to high heels and a miniskirt because it looks better . Ha, why stop there, wear a wedding dress, its elongating, classy and you will look richer
These outfits are for extra flat chested women . I can't understand her accent too well and I miss what she saying 😢 Apple body looks odd when tucking in your top. Their thick waist looks worse.

Why so unnecessarily rude? 😠
These tips and explanations are fantastic!
Hi Chi. Great ideas. But some of us are older and can’t wear high boot and too short skirt. Although looks amazing 🙏🙏💛
Shorter skirt with flat knee high boots also works
She gave other options

Amazing video! Everything looks sooooo good. Thank you.
Wow! The mini skirt outfit looks amazing on you!! Good tips!!
When a replica is better quality than the original that costs Low why not *suluxy*
Your ideas are the best 💯 👍🏼🙌🏼

I noticed wearing hose in some outfits Is it a fashionable return. I hope. Love videos.

Hello! Could you share where the brown belts are from? Thank you!
Sheer stockings or tights ?
But if i want to wear the jeans only in look 1?
Trying to get the focus away from my stomach. How can i do yhat and not look frumpy

Where is the purple coat with black faux fur found?

CAN PETITIES where cowboy boots? or calf length boots?
