If the wiper is old, the "button" will almost ALWAYS be broken off so there's no button to see. This complicates what should be a simple operation and you should add this detail. I don't believe I'm the only one who discovered this through struggling to find this button to release the blade!

Tried prying the wiper off with my pocket knife and sliced my finger! I then came here and stopped my barbaric ways!! Thank you!!!
Where he says “it’ll come off real simple” you have to push the wiper down like it owes you money.
So damn frustrated. The ‘simple’ part simply doesn’t work for me. I keep pressing and the damn thing won’t slide off
