I love how on 0:21 he says "Chris Broad" and there is picture of Natsuki
Same 😂
Joey revealed the biggest secret of the Abroad in Japan channel. Chris and Natsuki are actually the same person! Deep fake has come a long way....
😂 I’m about to point it out
@@Chris-ut6eqI thought it was Chris and Ironmouse 😆
Chris is always extra funny in other people's videos
i always fell the opposite. but i agree he is different
@@pleasedontwatchthese9593he is affable
He's more relaxed when he gets to cameo
If Connor also filmed his part, it'd be a direct opposite of this video. "And this is another hellhole that Chris tortured me with".
Dr. Jelly's rap was fire, can't believe you wrote that just in 30 minutes
2:15 2:33 the best accent Chris ever do on video 😆😆
Nice getting to see a 'behind the scenes' episode of Journey Across Japan like this!
Sharla posted a couple too 😊
Take a shot everytime Joey says “that’s so cool”
I'd rather not die of alcohol poisoning. 😆
thanks I now have cirrhosis

Last time I was this early to something, my wife was disappointed

Many countries are listed as having and submitting and getting approved Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
I'm not sure what website Joey was on, but on UNESCO's website there is list where you can filter by countries on what they've submitted.
Examples are: Türkiye's olive cultivation, Philippines' handloom weaving, and Thailand's New Year festival
yeah I was going to add that Cantonese Dragon Dancing is also labelled Intangible Cultural Heritage. So they definitely include heritage beyond japanese heritage
Neapolitan pizza is also one
This was such a great different perspective of this trip! Thanks for uploading!
You do such a good job being Dr Jelly, Im always happy to see Dr Jelly. You did a great job with the song as well, 100% great to see you in these Journey Across Japan videos
After watching, compared to Chris' video complaining about not finding anything this showed more than enough to warrant a visit! Great vlog! loved that you did it without any music, it was nice for my sore eyes and ears
Love seeing the behind the scenes of Abroad in Japan ❤
Just one thing, for those who are interested, intangible cultural heritage are "things" that are specific to the culture, but are not physical (so everything that is part of culture, but can't be touched). My country has a lot of it (mostly traditional dances)
The rapping is getting better with every track @joey haha
Gotta love Joey's travel vlogs. It's like you get enjoy the vacation with him.
I find Joey's reaction to godzilla rock relatable because I went to Taiwan with my family a few months ago and we went to this geological park where the main attraction is called "queen's head rock". And in all honesty, I had pretty much the same reaction as Joey with godzilla rock😂. I wouldn't say it was a waste of time but the only con I had was it was hot af because we went during the summer and there was barely any breeze even though we were near a coastal area
Chris always taking the piss out of everything when he's not filming always kills me.
2:46 I thought it was rice..
What a nice way to see things in your pov joseph.
A great follow up to the "Abroad in Japan" episodes that Chris presented together with Joey, giving us a behind the scenes extra footages of the places they visited. and the new Dr Jelly video is fantastic as well😄
For real though, every time I see Paul in his leather jacket, he looks like a classic bomber pilot from WWII. Overall this was a nice behind-the-scenes adventure!
@joey I'm watching Great Teacher Onizuki and I remembered you said you loved the story. You recently went to Aomori and Onizuki was catching a lift to Aomori in ep 2 now. That was so cool, you actually went there ✨
More please! Love these casual relaxing travel videos.
Fun to see a behind the scenes vid! Lmaoo the akita posters are amazing
~11:00 thanks to your baseball video, I was able to send my family member to a game during my last japan trip. Despite knowing almost no Japanese they were in the cheering section and it was of the highlights of their trip😊
just heard the song on Chris' channel, and i've got it stuck in my head. it's so catchy! well done Joey
Thanks Joey for this behind the scenes vlog! Watched Chris’s videos so this video was fun to watch to see what it looks like behind the razzmatazz!
It's so cool to see this vlog style video after watching the Journey Across Japan episodes first. ❤❤
Keep up the awesome work and videos Joey love the video
This is great, just watched the journey across Japan episode posted earlier.
Keep up the good work Joey!
I love all those travel vlogs you're posting lately. Very natural and always entertaining !👍👍
always good to see the vlogs
The apple pie looked so gorgeous and appetizing after the post preocessing done on Chris's channel. Its looks like any old pie in your video
Subbed. This channel is criminally underrated
Totally one of the best Dr. Jelly related videos you guys have done.
Awesome. I want to travel to Japan some day. It's cool that you're seeing all the parts that not everybody get's to see.
Thumbnail did u dirty lol
Joeys vlogs are one of the coziest you'll ever come across 🤘 Especially in snowy areas like this ❄️
I love your travel vlogs! They’re just so wholesome 🥰 That smile you gave after talking about the sushi really made my day. It’s the little things you include that make these vids so special!
Love the IRL content!
I can never get enough of Chris! He's hilarious.
Great behind the scenes video!
Also Shake Your Jelly was a 10/10
Also we need more Australian accent Chris 😂😂
I love your earring and the blue jacket!! I checked to see if the earring was also from your clothing brand, but didn't see it. Where is it from? I never knew that Hachiko was actually in a museum. Wow 20:57 is beautiful! The Dr. Jelly rap was fantastic! XD
its weird how chris video feels like natural journey of 2 guys while CDAWGs video just shows the behind the scenes and that there are like 5 other People. keep up the good work Connor
Hey joey u a rad dude, keep doing what u r doing my fly guy, peace.
great video joey best wishes to you
11:40 I recognise that from Jun's (from Jun's Kitchen) interview with a traditional sweet manufacturer! a pleasant suprise!
i just watched Chris episode then watch yours afterwards and seeing from a diferent ways its was nice :D
Letsgo new Joey video just dropped
Loved your section of the series lol. Poor Connor ain't getting the good trips for sure.
Aw that was a lovely little trip, thanks for sharing ^^
2:33
Has chris been watching aunty donna?
This bit in particular reminded me heavily of them, specifically the christmas pudding one :P
It's funny how universal monster stories are. In the german-austrian regions there are entities called Krampus and Perchten (Perchten are more like the personification of Winter while the Krampus is the companion of Saint Nick and beats children who misbehaved). They are very similare to the Namahage.
filmed on my birthday, posted on my moms birthday what a coincidence, anyways great videooo 👏👏
This joey bizinger guy is really poping off...since he lives in japan he should probably also try reviewing some anime as well...i would love to hear some of his opinions and takes on some famous anime like sao and stuff...
Joey, please record a Dr. Jelly album. I think you have something here. Love the flows on Too Much Volcano and Shake Your Jelly.
26:20 the lyrics were so fucking good!!!
Big props on that! I hope it overtakes A.S.O too much vulkano! 😁😂
Too Cool!
Loved it. 😎
I just watched an episode of the anime Deaimon where the Big Ki was lit and now I'm seeing it here. Kind of trippy.
I have finals and I finished early and have like an 1hr 30m more of class… time to catch up with some good ol’ JPUA-camrs 😌
That rap was brilliant, funny, and really made my day. Nice job dood. Dr Jelly forever! 🤘😄
11:38 Is this the Daimonji festival? I saw it in the anime Tatami Galaxy where they depicted the one in Kyoto
Watched the vlog and halfway through found myself on the nonsense store and buying a black edgerunners shirt because the Jacket was sold out, not sure how it happened, must be witchcraft, thanks for the vlog Joey, and seriously I bought the shirt cant wait for it to make its way to Canada.
Edited for an atrocious amount of typos.
You killed it with the rap song Joey
Good Video!.
I love vlogs, they’re kind of nostalgic lol
3:00 look like the restaurant from the Flying Witch (ふらいんぐうぃっち) anime.
13:41 no the poster says plz wear reflective markers or signs when you walking in the night.
Love your content Joey :)
3:44 Sydney would love seeing that
I used to live in Aomori Prefecture.
Jounrey across japan was a great series. It felt like a proper tv show
This is so good
I can't find that Inaho place with the hinai jidori you mentioned. Could you drop a google maps link to it or something? I'd love to go visit that shop in the future!
Can I ask what camera you’re using? The quality is amazing thank you and it seems like you had fun.
lol ignored
I love the way i recognize Aomori from The Caterer at The Maiko Manor
Yo why does that thumbnail look so W E I R D. It's like some cheap filter was applied and now your face has no contours and no eyebrows?
Godzilla Rock was fun, but I loved the floating rocks on the water, that was my fav.
According to the Wikipedia:
The Burning of the Character "Big" (大), also known as Daimonjiyaki (Japanese: 大文字焼き) or Daimonji Festival is the Japanese Buddhist ritual of burning wood in the character "Big" (大), typically in the mountain, on the last day of the 4-day Bon Festival to send back to the other world the spirits of the family ancestors that they welcomed on the first day.
There are many locations in Japan where this ritual is held. In western Japan, the Okuribi of the Five Mountains, celebrated in Kyoto, is the most famous,[1] while in eastern Japan, the ritual during the Hakone Gora Summer Festival with the fire burned on Mount Myōjō in the Hakone Mountains is relatively well known because of its proximity to Tokyo.[2]
Thanks Joey in April it'll be time for me to take the Shinkansen from Morioka to Tokyo now thinking I want to travel Grand Class.
Gran class is awesome!
11:51 Wow... that Kanji is pretty... big...
I saw that kanji on the side of a mountain at Hakone too but I still don’t know what it’s for
Great Dr Jelly rap Joey
I can't help but smile every time I see Aussie Chris.
Japan is so beautiful 😭
the school looks alot like the one in 13 sentinels *-*
looks awesomeee
I see you're also using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3? Is it that awesome for vlogging?
The big bear you saw on the warning sign is a brown bear, those only live on Hokkaido, on Honshu there are only black bears. Still dangerous, but a lot less terrifying and a lot smaller, so higher chances of survival.
12:03 I immediately started saying it and got so happy you both started saying it too XD
😂 yes
what was the whisper and chuckle in my left ear as you exited the "creepy corner" 6:43
I would love to know where Joey got his earring!!
Joey does get the best parts of Journey Across Japan lmao
thank you joey for the new video : )
27:29 certainly lives up to the meaning!
Interesting Hitchcock opening with all the crows surrounding the hotel
Have to say you look like you’re having an “amazing time” 🤣
Burning a gigantic "Big" kanji into a mountain is actually a hilarious shitpost
you cant see his reflection at 6:46. interesting.
AOMORI MENTIONED LETS GOOOOO👹👹👹❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🌸🌸🌸🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎♨️♨️♨️🎆🎆🎆
