I love to do it all. I share a lot of mixed media projects. I love using a lot of different mixed media techniques. I also love stamping and card making.
Qué video tan completo!
Gracias por los tips😊
So glad you tried this! I have wondered about it for a long time, but never stopped to do it. But I don’t do any gel printing because I didn’t want to have the mess. So I’m happy to see how it turned out.
I have been using inks on my gel plate for years. I love gel printing but I don't like to pull out paints all the time. LOL. I hope you give it a try!
I thoroughly loved your video. I just bought a gel plate and now I will use it. You made it so simple to use. Thank you! 🥰
Hi Tiffany, I haven't watched any videos from you lately, I learned so much from you when you were doing mixed media altering projects. I'm not a card maker but I'm in love with Tim Holtz products and I would not have thought of using the oxides on a gelly plate. Well, I'm subscribed again and looking forward to learning more of your creative ideas.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful art!!
Frantic Stamper also sells Aall and create - I’ve ordered from her for decades and she is reliable. She also has Lavinia stamps if u like the fairies!
I's love to see now that you have all those prints what will you do with them?
That’s my same question 🙋♀️
GREAT gel prints…I can’t wait to try this. Is your roller a hard or soft rubber…and the brand? TYFS 💕
Tiffany I’ve never heard of Red Bubble. I love your clean and crisp site. Where do you buy your distress oxide inks?
Thank you!
Marlyn from Calif……What kind of paper to you use??
If I don’t have a project in mind I just use copy paper. If I know I want to use it on a mixed media card or something that I will be adding more mediums I will use distress heavystock. I hope that helps.
I love the stencil you referred to as a Joggles stencil at the 14.46 mark. I have tried to find it with no luck.
Do you know what it is called? Love this video. Thanks
Yes it is this one here - shrsl.com/3x7s1 I hope that helps.
@@Tiffany.Solorio Thank You!!!
You opening things in the background is not as loud or as annoying as you might think.
Great replay, thank you for sharing the gelli fun.
Very enjoyable video. I have many gel plates but I’m intimidated and have yet to really delve into it. Plus I hear it’s addictive and I would probably end up with hundreds of prints. I need to just do it.
Thank you so much. SO glad you enjoyed it! Once you do your first pull it is for sure addicting. I hope you try it soon!
Yes! It is addicting!!! I have boxes of prints!!
It is addicting but fun and if it’s fun so what if you have a ton:)
Never used these!
Your grammar is impeccable! TFS!
Great technique, Tiffany. Have you tried using card stock (80 lbs or more) instead of paper?
Thanks, l love this idea. I had a massive stroke 12 years ago so had to learn to read, write, walk, and talk all over. But l only get 800.00 a month for disability so l can't afford to join. But l watch your shows. 🌿💞🌿
Ok Tiffany! I’ve looked everywhere for that brayer time to give it up- let’s have it. Where did you get that thing? I looked at hobby lobby and Michael’s and then just an entire google search! So I thought I’d just come back and ask! I love the one pass coverage! So much nicer. Can you please tell me where exactly you got that one, how long is it and is it soft? Thank you!😊
Yes, it is great to ("splurge") and get a larger brayer -- much better tool/results.
Actually I forgot I did have a question. With the copy paper , how are you using it? Like if it’s a card are you putting it on cardstock! Are you using it on other things besides cards?
Watching on the replay. Tiffany, you’re doing great. I just ordered my first gel plate and 4”Breyer so this video is perfect for me...
I was watching a gel print video that has a tool like a mini speed square-is that the expensive tool you are talking about? Could you use the corner piece (tools) for the Misti? I figure if you want to see the top edge you could put some washi tape around it.
Some very kewl designs & color combos! I love using distress inks since the cleanup is so much easier. I also like the softer value with the inks over paints for cards.
Do you have a bottle of distress refresher? When a pad is getting a bit dry there's still a lot of ink in it, it's just dry. That may not make sense, but spritzing some refresher on the ink pad will give a lot more life to it til you can get a reinker.
First time seing your vedio love it .ive done my own hand made jelly plate used paint love it .never used inks
Love your methods, beautiful prints ❤
Thank you, Tiffany! I was looking at a Gelly plate at Michaels the other day but didn’t understand its use. You’ve help to show me some ideas and colour combinations.
Love this Video!! I have a bunch of small gel plates, but hate using acrylics on them such a mess so I don't end up using them much... I love this idea so much, no mess, I have a small studio area so no room to mess. when I use acrylics I found the thicker paints to be better, Tim Holtz paints are too thin for the gel press.
Loved this video. It was totally inspiring. I haven’t used mine in a while and I got a 2nd one different size and haven’t used that at all. When I finish reorganizing my craft room I will be pulling them out. I have to admit when I first started watching I checked out your new shop that you mentioned and went shopping . So far I got my phone case and love it. It brought back memories of your alcohol ink videos. You have made some awesome alcohol ink designs and I’m loving these distress blends on the gelli. Thanks for sharing!❤
Thank you so much Tiffany, I really really enjoyed watching you make those amazing and gorgeous Gelli plate prints. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
You had a hard time getting started you said but I thought you did pretty good when you got rolling. Sometimes you just gotta jump in there. You make some cool stuff.
This is brilliant! Thank you for sharing your process with us…. 🙏🏼💕
You are so welcome!
Great video! I now understand how to use the ink on my plate. TFS. 👏🏽💜
How do you use these backgrounds on printer paper with them being so thin?
I will use double sided adhesive or spray adhesive and adhere them to cardstock. I hope that helps.
Thanks for the tip. That was sooo cool and not as messy as acrylic paint. Love this!!!
Glad it was helpful! I agree that is is not as messy as acrylic paint. I hope you try it one day.
This was great. Can't wait to see how you use the backgrounds you just created.
Thanks so much!
How do you use the thin paper afterwards?
I will use double sided adhesive or spray adhesive and adhere them to cardstock. I hope that helps.
🤩🤩🤩
Can you use the distress inks for this?
Yes!! 😊
What size is your gel plate?
It is 6x6
Thank yo! Love your videos!
