Just got one guys and this thing is AWESOME. I’ve had the Helix and am currently running an FM9. Don’t get me wrong, the FM9 is world class but this thing does the Dumble tone and feel better imo
Howdy Bryan, what are your thoughts on using live (in Worship) with it’s limit of basically two presets? Have you been able to try during worship, if so how did it fit in the mix?
Do you mean using just this pedal without any other effects? You could essentially just have a clean and dirty sound. I’d definitely want more effects (reverbs, delays, modulation, etc), and probably more gain stages with drive pedals. But for your amp sim I’d be super happy using this pedal.
@@wttone sorry, yeah I meant to add as your pedal platform “amp” on your board…John Cordy just did a video about taking it to a gig as his pedal platform amp and found it limiting due to the two presets…I can see that point when it has so many different sounds and you would be limited in a live setting. Also, would it be easy to dial in when changing to a different guitar? I’m thinking about trying it in lieu of my Friedman IR-D. Cheers!
Personally I don’t change settings on my amp sim - once it’s dialed in I leave it and do everything with pedals or other effects, so not having preset sounds on the pedal wouldn’t matter to me in the scenario. It’s very easy to adjust for different guitar. Just turn the knobs 😎 Never tried the Friedman units. They look cool though.
@@wttone Hehe. Do you mean “…Just turn Knobs and use the app?” 😉 I tried all the UAFX amp pedals (expect the ANTI). Sounds are amazing but feel is off. However, I’m thinking this one might be different…Love your work! Cheers!
Thanks! Well once you get the channel you want and other deep functions selected in the app, you'd mostly likely only need to change gain, bass, middle, and treble for each individual guitar, which is all just twisting the knobs on the front of the pedal - just like a real amp.
@@wttone Thank you! They sound awesome! Also are you using any kind 60cycle hum cancellation? I don't hear any. You're very good with rolling off volume, but I expect to hear some hum with those higher gain tones.
Yeah - every time you save a preset, it stores it in the app, which you can then access/rename/etc. But on the pedal itself, you only get one preset that you can access via the footswitch.
@@wttone This guy is obsessed with this pedal. It has commented in every single video released about it, including mine, and where UA-cam had marked it as spam because of the amount of foul language. The guy claims he has "40 years of experience" and has played "5 or 6 dumbles", and repeats the names of Eric Johnson and Joe B like a parrot... yet nobody knows who he is, his channel is empty, and we cannot learn anything from him. He seems to hate every video, but still obsesses about watching them (I have a few and he wrote comments on my videos days apart hehe, keeps coming back to torture himself!) Just another troll. Great job brother, you certainly made it sound amazing! Love those ambience reverbs you used.
Dood...I love these "longer-form" videos.
Not sure why I dig 'em as much as I do...but, I do!
Keep up the great work!
😃
Thanks so much!
Dang! That sounds amazing. Great playing with that visual beautiful tone. Great video!
I like how the distorted tone decays and doesn’t interfere with the subsequent notes played. That’s a great overdrive.
Hey, it’s been a while since we got a WT Tone vid. It’s good to be back 🔥
Thanks! It’s good indeed!
We are going to try for consistent weekly uploads.
@@wttone Let’s go! It sounds great btw

IS there a reason they don't tell you what mic the tone was created with?
Overdrive at the top and around 18:16? Sounds great!
Bluesbreaker side of the Colosseum!
Would love to see this in a dual amp rig with the UA Ruby 😜
Which drive was on at 18:45? It sounded amazing with the Enigmatic.
Antique side of the Cornerstone Imperium!
So I guess the big question is how does the pedal compare to your Two-Rock TS1?
If you put the TS1 through the Ox and use similar cabs, they’re pretty dang close!

What pickups are in the thinline MJT Tele?
It has Porter Vintage Tele pickups. Love them!

@simbadlemarin1815 Thanks! Nothing like that on the guitar.
I see that Herdim you snuck in there... I have a stash of the blue ones. U2 covers aren't the same without them!
Hey guys! What studio monitors do you use for your modelers.
Brian here - I have the Barefoot 01 monitors. Bradford is using a new set from IK Multimedia that have built in room correction - we love them both!
Do you still get only 1 stored preset ?

@@wttone Thanks. Have a good one 👍
Hmm, I wonder whether the "clean" setting on the Enigmatic takes drive pedals better than the Dream?
It takes drives differently than the Dream. Whether that’s ‘better’ is subjective, honestly.
HRM is actually Hot Rubber Monkey I think. Why? No clue
Thanks for the info! Not sure where I heard Hot Rodded Marshall, but Hot Rubber Monkey it is, ha.

@@argbluesman it’s always an interesting take when you call a middle aged man ‘boy’ 😂
It's just a mythology every stupid tone that I hear can be played with the average pedal board to stop it
I happen to like this stupid tone...
Ya I have a pretty serious pedal board and I find these to be something completely different
