Riot Polizei Its not that hard in the car. One thing he forgot to mention is the bracket that bolts to the block. I went to a junk yard and pulled one in about 30 minutes. You' ll be more frustrated with sweating in the heat if u live somewhere that has hot climate....like Florida for example.

To loosen the intake manifold bracket bolts. Do I turn towards the driver's side or passengers? They won't come off. Thank you

its always easier when the block isnt in a car and full access to all bolts. lol dont let this vid fool u your gonna be there for quite awhile. putting the bolts back in on the throttle body side are a nightmare and if u dont seal it back right or forget a new gasket vacuum leaks wont let car start and u gotta take off and re do it all over again lol.
I have an 03 protege 2.0 turboed that just did motor swap on n I have more vacuum lines n where does the vacuum line from passenger side of lower intake plenum go
Good stuff, but I would have to do it in the car. Which looks a hell of a lot harder. I f'd up the idol control valve screws and it doesn't seem like I'll be able to take those off unless I take off the intake manifold but for now I'll just leave it as is. Too much work
i was originally gonna film take it of the car but i figured on the stand would show people more clearly eventually ill do one in the car
Import Custom Mods I did a few videos my self on changing the taillights and license plate frame so I know it takes time to make this videos. I also liked your video where you take off the intake manifold, that one looks a hell of a lot difficult to remove in the car. I striped the idle control valve screws and the only way to get those screws out is by taking out the intake manifold which I probably won't do seeing how hard it is.
its not bad taking it off in the car but its one of those thing i just try to avoid lol
