Hey I'm thinking about building a 6th order for my new rs platinum 18s. Do you think its a good idea or should I just do another sub's up port back? Any tuning/ ratio tips? I'm just using the cargo space in my jeep wj, I want to keep my back seat. Thanks
I know this is a older post but did it change spl when u mounted them say inverted vs regular or no change at all just wonder cause I'm thinking bout trying mine regular just to see
Correct. So say if these 4 were on a single amp, the two up front would be wired normal and the other two in the rear reversed. Easy self check is to wire a drill battery to them and see if they all move the same direction.
what did you do with it each night after you were done working on it ? did you put it back in the truck or put it in the garage, either way im sure was heavy moving unless it was on a giant cart with wheels, did it have wheels ? huh huh did it did it ? haha im kidding, thanks for the walk thru nice work.
Yep, loaded it back into the truck every day i worked on it. I have an old toolbox i built a frame and casters for as a moving toolbox/work table and it is almost the same height as my tailgate, so that helped a ton.
Really neat build looks super clean as well. Just have a question or two. Did you use bbp6 to design it or something similar. I'm planing on building a 6th order but I'm using winisd and it only does parallel 6th order not series. And that would be okay with me but my subs just don't seem to simulate well in winisd on that. Anyhelp would be great thanks:
winisd only gets you so far. This I did with a little winisd and a buddy helped critique it as he had bbp6. I typically find the volumes with 3d modeling then take that back into a box designing program. May seem backwards but works for me.
If you can get all the T/S specs of the woofer, that will get you closer. But understand the spec sheet Fs and various other parameters will change over time (as suspension gets softer).
White boxes look amazing, nice work!
That a great build. I need one for my suburban
Looks like the tear down is coming along nicely. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done and finished.
Very nice!
Please post a video of it playing...
I actually used this to build mine in my Yukon thanks
Super stoked on how this turned out

Nice build bruh 👍👍 what amp/s are you running on em'??? What model B2 subs are they???
🔥🔥🔥 awesome video and build!
very nice
So do you just invert the power wires on 2 of the subs? Building something like this and just doing homework, thanks.

Nice job now invert them all lol
Came out nice man!
How did you figure out the dimensions of the top chamber?
How much in material cost does something like that run?
4-500 probably
This is very helpful lol

@@HitemWithTheFlex Okay.thank you for the response:)
Just wanted to know if you or know someone that has worked on a 07 Canyon rear speaker box?
No, sorry I havent.
What dimensions did you use
What is the tuning of each chamber?
Wat build program did you use
WinISD
whats the ratio on that
like 1.8:1
