Led Zeppelin is a group composed of Robert Plant (singer), Jimmy Page (lead guitar), John Paul Jones (bass & keyboards) and John Bonham (drums). I saw them in 1977 on my wedding night. I’m a lifelong Led Head!
Their drummer, John Bonham, died after a night of heavy drinking & his son. Jason Bonham, is now their drummer.
Talk about a whole lotta love.
You saw them on your wedding night?! Best. Wedding. Gift. EVER!!💗🤘
Caroline Allen, congratulations to you for seeing Led Zeppelin perform on your Wedding Night! Amazing!
@@maryalbanesi3435 Wow. That is the greatest wedding gift or otherwise, to have seen them live. I was too interested in Peter Frampton and The Eagles back in the day. I missed out on seeing them live!
That song have one of the best intro's in rock history.
Part of this song is occasionally heard in Thor Ragnarok.
To be fair, it IS about the Vikings!
@@helengraves7850 Oh yeah I know. 😁
Is that in Skyrim? Like I think I killed him with a dwarven sword.
"Hammer of the Gods,
Drive our ships to new lands,
Fight the hordes,
Sing and cry,
Valhalla I am coming..."
Yep, checks out
and shrek
Rock n roll, kashmir, black dog, when the levee breaks, hot dog, The ocean, Four sticks, whole lotta love , dazed n confused , In my time of dying, since I've been loving you, the list goes on n on. Smoke a dobbie n relax that's the Zeppelin way. Oh yeah,
Led Zeppelin is the name of a band not the name of a person. Robert Plant is lead vocal. Keep rocking guys !
Black Rain.
All of the above, agreed!
Yessss...so very much!
I also like the Jimmy page and Robert plant collab!! So awesome. Have that cd...oh my greatness!!
🎶 walking into clarksdale..
🎶 love's true flame dies without the warmth of the sun.....
💕🎶💕🎶💕❤🌞 thank you all you talented Led Zepp musicians!!!! True treasure!!
Alicia, you are spot on about smokin' a doobie! My mother was into all of this (weed, hashish) in the 70s, and she would set up a stack of albums on the record player at bedtime. I went to sleep listening to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Heart, Yes, Santana, Foreigner, Kansas...and so on. Great music 🖤🎼...horrible mother 🙄
@@vickyfuller200 All great bands. I still have a large LP collection. Your momma ROCKS !
YOUR LUCKY
You cannot go wrong with Led Zeppelin. You really need to react to Kashmir
ua-cam.com/video/tzVJPgCn-Z8/v-deo.html
Love Kashmir! 🥰❤️🙌🏻
I second this! Kashmir is my favorite Led Zeppelin song!
Agreed!
I think a good one would be a zep song that has a funky bop to it like Misty Mountain Hop.
Kashmir at ten years old turned me on to my favorite band. Kashmir and battle of evermore are my favorites but all zeppelin songs are good
This is sometimes used as hype music at sporting events. The riff at the beginning and the call are iconic.
You guys have to watch The Kennedy Center Honors to Led Zepplin. The band " Heart" does a mean rendition of Stairway to Heaven..The faces of Led Zepplin's band members is priceless!!
Agreed. Jimmy Page cried. ❤️
Jason Bonham had been invited to sit with the remainder of Led Zeppelin but declined because he had a gig. The gig was playing the drums for Heart at The Kennedy Centre.
Rita Webb, I am definitely going to try to find it and watch it!
I just watched it on your recommendation and it was terrific!!!❤️
I’ve watched that performance dozens of times. So moving.
Once you've heard that guitar riff, you never forget it !
I was lucky enough to see Led Zeppelin at the Forum in LA, they opened with the Immigrant Song! Still have my ticket....$7.00!!!
You just witnessed one of the greatest rock bands of all time and that guitar solo by Jimmy Page, priceless. He's right up there with Hendrix, Clapton and Stevie Ray as one of the greatest guitarists to walk this earth. So glad you got the Led out!
Wow!!! That's amazing you saw them in LA!!!! 💞 It must have been an experience of a lifetime!! Definitely #1 Rock and roll band, no question lol
Bringing the tears on guys...So many memories growing up in the 70's with Led Zep!... They took folk and Contemporary blues songs and rocked them to the core!! They are rock gods... there music changed a generation.
RIP John bonham possibly the greatest drummers of all time.
He's definitely in the top 50, not the greatest
Bonzo IS the best!!
His son Jason plays just like him - he was taught by the master. Jason sometimes steps in as guest drummer for a local tribute band Fred Zeppelin here in the UK.
@@denisemeredith2436 I seen him with his band LZE - Led Zeppelin Experience, he opened for Peter Frampton….just wow! Amazing like Bonzo!
Second to none 🤟
Robert Plant is an amazing and unmatched vocalist. At the Raiding the Rock Vault show in Las Vegas, it took THREE known rock singers to replicate the sound of ONE Robert Plant. (It’s an awesome show, by the way, if you ever have a chance to see it!)
Samovila TX, I loved listening to Robert Plant! 💕 Please remind me, what were the girls called who sang behind him?
@@chrisspiers6310 are you thinking Robert PALMER?
🎶 I'm in the mood for a melody, I'm in the mood for a melody, I'm in the mood!!
❤ that song of his!!!
I love to run/dance/hide in the musical forest!!! 🎶💃🌞👾🌌🐦
@@chrisspiers6310 you are being funny, right?
@@laurabryfogle7516 me, too!
A classic!!! I was almost 12 years old when this came out, my husband was 13 years old, going on 14. Neither of us were allowed & old enough to go to the concert, but that didn't stop us from listening to Led Zeppelin, my favorite was "Stairway To Heaven", it will always be my favorite!!! It's also my husband's ringtone!! 😁👍🏻☮❤
I'm 62...the 70s were the best time of my life! I have loved Zeppelin since 1969!
@@juliemanarin4127 I agree, I loved the 70's & 80's so much, I went dancing at the clubs with friends between 1979-80💃. I was 8 years old in 1969 & I had/have 2 sisters & a brother, all older than me, I'm 60, but I remember a lot of 60's tunes. I loved the Beatles & still do, like most of us, but I graduated in 1979, met my husband in 1980 at a kegger, married late 1980, had our 1st daughter in 1981, our youngest daughter in 1983. We started losing family members in 1984 + 😥. Been married 41 years next month & we started living together the day after our 1st date. We were/are very compatible!! I had a blast back then!! The music was awesome!!! 😁👍🏻
@@carolr.4863 I'm pleased you met your husband in 1980 and you weren't married to him at 12 years old as implied in your first comment. 😆
@@mike4179 Lol, no, I was only making a comparison, thats all. Yes, we met in 1980.
Led Zeppelin has so many amazing hits, you can't pick just one!
Immigrant Song is truly one of my favorites because of how appropriately it was used in Thor Ragnarok. Combining rock with the Marvel Universe is a win win in my book!
Love you guys and keep up the awesome work! 🤗🤘
1st concert I ever went to….I was 14
Led Zeppelin was life changing🎸🎸🎸
Whoa...your first concert was LED ZEPP...DAMN
@@laurabryfogle7516 Mine too. 1973...San Francisco.
@@karenh2890 Treasure for sure!!
Seen them live in 1977 , my granddaughter is now 13 and she loves them she been listening now for at least 3 yrs . I tell her who to listen to next and she tells me what she thinks .
You guys are getting into the TRULY good stuff. I just love you for it. (This and "Stairway to Heaven" are a good start to Zeppelin 101.)
Oh most definitely. I learned about that song because Mary J Blige did a cover for it. If you haven't seen it check it out.
Tim already reacted to "Stairway to Heaven".
Yep, they've already done Stairway to Heaven, Black Dog, and When the Levee breaks, awesome videos
Yessir - go back to ur roots! The 70’s, 80’s classics are what got u to 1/2 million subscribers a year ago. I know cuz I was one of the first and still loving ur reactions! Keep playing those classics twins 💕💯👏🔥
Almost 50 years later and still a great song!
AaaawaaaayaaaaaaAHHHHH!!!! You gotta listen to the studio version too. Most epic primal scream ever. … They coming for sure.
I just wanna say *THANK YOU* for taking the time to listen to a band that's on a shirt you're wearing lol ♥️ Lots of people don't do that these days. This is my mom's absolute favorite band 😊
Even people who don't like hard rock, still like Led Zeppelin
Excellent reaction! You are both spot on when you say that's the definition of a real rock band. I just love you two young men, keep it up!!
The recorded version is better than the live version ~ it's just more fluid
Yes, sometimes the recorded version is better my twins 💯🥰
Tim (the left twin) mentioned in the beginning he reacted to Led Zeppelin before, including Immigrant Song studio version.
Well recorded versions usually are. However they don't have that audience vibe in them...
@@laurabryfogle7516 Yeah, I've always loved the raw edge from live music, even recorded. I know it's not as "good" as the studio versions most of the time, but you can't get that vibe in a studio you know?
Not even close. Everything about this live cut is better; the vocals, the drumming, and especially the guitar solo outro.
I highly recommend “Babe I'm Gonna Leave You”. It’s truly beautiful. 💜💜💜
Also try the version of “. Babe……” by Joan Baez. Very different versions both are wonderful. I’m OLD!
"That's Led Zeppelin...they comin!" Haha, well said
Love Led Zeppelin. My favorite is Kashmir and Ramble On!! Check out Stevie Ray Vaughan's, Voodoo Child live, Crazy!!
A top 25 singer, a top 10 guitarist who might be top 5, and a top 3 drummer who might be the best of all time. Definition of a super group.
You forgot multi-instrumentalist JPJ who technically was/is the most talented of all of them. And that's saying a lot!
@@Katerina9256 I disagree he was the most talented but you’re right I forgot him. He’s a top 10 bassist.
@@Primenumber19 aw c'mon, not just a bassist by any means! He is literally the most musically talented of all of them--and I believe the rest of the band would all point to him if they were posed that question. Strictly musically speaking, he was the most educated. His keyboard and mandolin skills are off the charts. I saw him in 2000 on his Zooma tour, he played so many instruments I lost count. I'm not trying to diminish Page Plant or Bonham by any means by saying this...(plus they all had the huge personality and stage presence).
Jonesy deserves way more recognition and appreciation than he ever even began to get.
~~Katerina
@@Katerina9256 it’s an opinion I don’t share, but it’s one that has merit.
Epic absolutely epic!
Robert Plant is still as great as he ever was. I had the joy to go to one of his concerts six years ago. Absolutely amazing. Amazing vocals, amazing connection to the music, the band, the crowd. I can still relive this feeling of total exhilaration during the performance. And also all the way back home in my car I couldn't stop grinning widely, high on the music
13 yrs old in "78" n heard Led Zeppelin for the first time. Loved Rock n Roll ever since 🎸
Zeppelin - the quintessential Rock Gods!
“They Come From The Lands Of The Ice and Snow”🔥
💜 it when Fred said this is Real Rock! 😅 Glad this stayed up for you guys! ☮️
The Gods of Rock n roll , always were always will be
The best classic rock band of all time IMO. So many great tunes. "The Ocean" is also a banger. 🤘
I love this! I hope this doesn't get blocked.
This is a nod to the Vikings...."Come to the land of the ice and snow"
Absolutely! The yell at the beginning is to be the Berzerker howl. AhhhhAAHH! Can you just imagine a large, fur clad person running at you screaming like that with ax raised over their head? 😱
All us blue eyed blondes in UK are their descendants
@@vondefeo8586 LOL We actually all the same peoples LOL The Anglo-Saxons came from Northern Germany , Frsland, and the Denmark Denmark Peninsula or Jutland. The Danes and the Anglo-Saxons are R1b DNA and the Pagan culture wasn't that much different, Wootan -Odin same guy . The Germanic Anglo-Saxons change when it become Christian and Catholic. The Scandinavians were 400 years behind LOL
@@vondefeo8586 Also, red hair is usually thought of as being an Irish thing, but it was actually introduced there by Vikings from Norway
PLEASE READ THE LYRICS:
Ah-ah, ah!
Ah-ah, ah!
We come from the land of the ice and snow
From the midnight sun where the hot springs flow
The hammer of the gods
Will drive our ships to new lands
To fight the horde, sing and cry
Valhalla, I am coming
On we sweep with threshing oar
Our only goal will be the western shore
Ah-ah, ah!
Ah-ah, ah!
We come from the land of the ice and snow
From the midnight sun where the hot springs flow
How soft your fields so green
Can whisper tales of gore
Of how we calmed the tides of war
We are your overlords
On we sweep with threshing oar
Our only goal will be the western shore
So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins
For peace and trust can win the day despite of all your losing
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
Ahh, ah
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
Song of my people the Vikings.
I just adore the two of you. ❤️ Many of the acts you profile i saw live. It tickles me to no end that you’re discovering and enjoying them. You obviously know good music. ❤️❤️❤️
Hey fellas, Fredo you are spot on
This is real ROCK,
Keep up with ZEP ❤
I grew up on Zeplen, Stones, Joplin, Mountain, Tina Turner, Airplane, The Who, Santana, Beatles, Hendrix, Cream, Animals et al..delighted to see them all still appreciated 50 or more years later...thank you guys. !
Zeppelin are rock gods in every sense. Robert Plant's voice is mesmerizing and so is Jimmy Page on the guitar. Their whole catalog is a gift to music!
Love that you love led zep
Twins you rock!!! Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest rock bands ever! Nothing like this kind of rock is around anymore. I’m 74 and I still rock hard!! Love you guys, keep up the great work!!!!!
I saw Led Zeppelin in 1972 in Los Angeles. I couldn't hear for 3 days after that, but I didn't care. The best rock group EVER!!! Love your channel guys!
Greatest band in history! Please do more Zeppelin!!
I turned 18 in 1975….saw them live front row.
Saw every band out there.
Best memories anyone could have. ❤️
Absolutely love Led Zeppelin!! ❤ icons in every aspect....vocals, guitar...the late great John Bonham on drums...so glad I was born in an era of such amazing music. Your reaction brought a smile to my face. You can't not like Zep! Love your channel guys.
Many thank's lad's,love your honesty and enthusiasm,respect!!
Nice song first time hearing it & going to download it. Thanks again twins you are helping many of us discover great music 😊
Megan, listen to their album Led Zeppelin 2, it's fantastic! Or Houses of the Holy.
You said it best, this is REAL rock and roll!!🥰
LZ was before my time. Alas. But they’re severely underrated (and I say that knowing how popular they are). While the Beatles and Stones duked it out, LZ’s astonishingly varied albums went platinum.
Bought this album in 1971 (13yo) played it on my brothers brand new Pioneer stereo LOUD - Mum & Dad get home, they thought I'd gone mad!
Robert Plant and Jimmy Page were the shit let me tell you I saw them many times and my goodness they took my breath away. Their music is the bomb and that you are liking them is wonderful. Twins The New Trend you guys ROCK.
"Ten Years Gone", "Thank You," and Fool in the Rain" would love to see you react to those songs.
Ten Years Gone is an awesome song!! 👍
Fool in the rain is so wonderful!!!!
Thank You makes me cry
OMG!!! WOW!!! YEP...the t shirt ROCKS!!! ....Just like his music...THIS ONE IS CLASSIC BANGER!!! THANX!🔥❤🥰
Best band ever! Amazing live!!
Robert Plant just recovered from throat surgery at this concert and he still sounds outrageous.
Awesome you are a big fan of Led Zeppelin. My father introduced me to the back in the 80s when i was young. He would play their records on vinyl on one of those big stereo sets. It was epic to like 5-6 year old me. They are my all time favorite band. I love all music but this guys have a piece of my soul.
Absolutely astonishing. There is simply no other description that does them justice.
Here’s one you should react to- Led Zeppelin was honored at the Kennedy center. The original members were there. Heart honored them by praying “stairway to heaven” and it’s awesome. Lead singer Robt plant is brought to tears
Yes!! Always been my favourites!! Youth in the 70's was amazing!!
Omg thank you love your reaction best band ever love the shirt
Once again, never a bad time for Zeppelin. Vault classic.
The live video of In My Time of Dying is my fav from Zeppelin…it’s a whole experience
Even though I am a 72 yr. old Grandma, I still love listening to music by Led Zeppelin! 😂
I am asking you once again to please play and react to the music video “Dance Me to the End of Love”. It was written by Canadian singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen in 1984 and was dedicated to those who lost their lives during the Holocaust. In a 1995 radio interview, Mr. Cohen said that in certain Concentration Camps, a string quartet was forced into performing this song, while their fellow prisoners were being sent into the Gas Chambers. The members of the string quartet knew that their fate would be the same. There is no footage of the prisoners in Mr. Cohen’s music video. His music video is both beautiful and poignant. The Holocaust is such an important part of our History. I promise that you and my fellow UA-cam watchers will be “touched” by this beautiful music video!
Love your Channel!💕
I am also one of your Patreon members.
Sending prayers from San Antonio, TX.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
My favorite band!!!! Thanks guys ❤️❤️❤️
Zeppelin's instrumentation was so tight, you almost didn't need lyrics because the instruments said plenty all by themselves. I hope you're able to post more (non-blocked) Zeppelin.
This song is played at the beginning of the “Thor: Ragnorok” movie…so awesome when the songs kicks in!!!
Young men of any color getting down with real rock music makes my heart proud. Thank you.
Heard this song everyday in highschool. Didn't find out who sung it untill School of Rock. They're talking about how the Vikings invaded the British Isles. My favorite!!!
This is the live 1972 concert in Sydney thanks for blessing our soil Led Zeppelin
My favorite Led Zeppelin song
Yes, please do more rock!! Glad to see you get back to it. Anything by Zeppelin is great! Try “In My Time of Dying.”
All of my Love, that is one of my favs

You guys are great. Don't stop. I love watching your reactions to the music I grew up with all my 58 years.
So great to see again. Never get tire of that one. Thank you!

Love you guys! So refreshing that you are open to listening to all kinds of music!
Gentlemen, it won't be long before you hit 1 million subscribers. As a 60 year old white guy who grew up listening to LZ since I was about 11, it is so refreshing to see another generation from a minority group who has gotten to love Led Zeppelin. I am so glad you two enjoy this kickass rock. Well done guys, as always. By the way, I have the same Zep t-shirt but in a dark blue tie dye. Thanks very another great video gentlemen.

The best comment I have ever heard..."This is real rock."!
Led Zeppelin is my favorite 70’s band. All songs are off the chart!😎 you should always see them live. Seeing live performances by them is trip down the rabbit hole and a gift all wrapped up in one.
These guys are Rock’s Goats!
Everyone high as f**k. Including us that listened to them in ‘72. 😂
In Texas you had to be high to endure the 100 temp heat at these outdoor events!!
What a great selection! Led Zeppelin could put on a show, you set me back 50 years! What memories!
I highly recommend "Stairway To Heaven"
This is real rock! Quite the understatement, Tim and Fred! Glad you enjoyed it!
I could listen to Led Zeppelin all day and not get tired of them 😎🎶
