  • Fished Rudee Inlet down near Virginia Beach. We caught sheepshead, drum, trout and flounder. Was a great time. We will be back.

Great video. I really like how you start the video with a detailed google map of the general area and specifically where you ended up catching most of your fish.

A few mishaps with the net and one breaking off. Besides that looked like an awesome day out there. The geeat thing there is you just never know what you're going to hook into.

Yeah. Definitely a good variety of fish. There are a few bloopers I left out. 🫣

Yes the net an essential piece of fishing equipment. Gonna try my luck at Bethany Beach and maybe Indian River outlet today

Yes, I was thinking on the way up here to try and get two, they have a spot to launch which goes over to the bay/inlet

Great day of fishing! How did you catch the sandfleas?

Thanks. I did not bring a sand flea rake. I used my hands on the beach.

@@EverythingFishingJT thanks for the info! Sorry if I sound ignorant, but I don't hear a lot of fisherman from around here using sandfleas. I've seen videos of people elsewhere using them. I am going to research and try this! Thanks!!!

You don’t sound ignorant at all. You can catch sand fleas on most beaches. Dig around when the waves go out if you don’t get a sand flea rake

They're sand crabs, not sand fleas fyi

No one’s calls them sand crabs. The rake is even called a sand flea rake.

Need to try out lynnhaven inlet on one of your trips. It feeds into chesapeake bay. you can drop in at lynnhaven boat ramp. Under lesnar bridge is a decent spot too just pay attention to tides and current, it can get squirrely. I've spent many trips out there catching flounder, spec, black drum, and reds. If youre ballsy head out to the first island of the CBBT. it's not a bad trek on a pedal boat in calm water. crabs out there will cost you alot in gulps. late summer early fall is your best bet. tight lines
