How come so many women binge drink, smoke and take drugs seem to get pregnant at the drop of a hat? Just seems so unfair 😞
MaybebabyJ I've been wondering as well...but I think it lowers the natural killer cells so they won't attack implantation and a fetus from growing.

It's probably because they are just not stressing too much about it.
Alcohol does affect the quality of sperms and eggs. Also they interferes with blood pressure regulation. It is not a good thing to be having alcohol
😭 I’m in a miserable situation of being unable to conceive... have tried for months (over a year, approaching 32) and I use alcohol to cope with my infertility 😭 please please pray for me
some people are trying for years, don't get upset about it. I used to like to use alcohol to cope, but after couple of my friends died from it I don't even want to look at it anymore. Instead now I'm walking with the music in my ears or playing videogames or dancing at home. It reliefs my stress as good as alcohol does and don't call yourself infertile you are super fertile. It's just not up to us sometimes, pregnancy is unexplainable miracle and only mother nature knows why some get it right away and some get later. So don't beat yourself up and stay happy and healthy because we only have one life to live.

Alcohol actually increases stress so there’s no point in drinking it…so does coffee…I got rose of both and have never felt so peaceful.
Are there studies on long-term, heavy alcohol use reducing the quality of eggs? I have nearly stopped drinking completely (one drink every two weeks maybe) but drank way too much for nearly 2 decades (sometimes a bottle of wine a night). I hope I didn't ruin my chances of conception. Now that I am 40 I am quite concerned and wish I thought about it sooner.

I have read that this is realistically the case most of the time, because a good portion of pregnancies are unplanned, and a good number pf people also don't bother stopping drinking until they see that positive pregnancy test.
