Happy 420 to you too Andrew 😭😂 looks like I’m quitting the occasional smoke now too. My fertility is very important to me at this time.
Same. I want 2 more kids, I'm 45, and gotta get clean. 😊
aw yes gotta love hitlers birthday 1889/4/20
I am 32 and I want to give up smoking both weed and nicotine so that I can have a healthy child. I have been a what Huberman would call a chronic user, hopefully stopping smoking would help.
Great decision. You will be more happy than ever .❤
Im on day four of quitting hash, had many t-breaks, many fails and relapses. My greatest advice for you is to remember that you are in controll of your actions, not cigarettes, weed or even other people or god. Its all on you to choose to fail or not. But you will fail and you will try again, just dont jump on that horse immediatley. Let that little voice in your head come back saying: ''it's time''. Good luck brother!
Heard a Dr say that exact BS about it being "fine to have a drink while pregnant as long as it's just wine, not hard liquor" . . . Perhaps it's wilful/cultural ignorance, but in some cases it seems like there are Drs who just don't want to break the news to their patients that they should show extra discipline while they try to create a new living being. Where's the accountability/conscience of these medical professionals espousing anything other than alcohol abstinence during pregnancy?
Toker for 23 years here - I had my semen tested by a hospital before I stopped with weed and 3 months after I quit. My semen quality had noticeably improved. I toke without tobacco - just weed through a vaporizer.
So your test increased after you stopped
Thank you for a lot of very interesting knowledge 📚📖
Awesome as always👍
This isn't just about smoking, but mostly about the effects of ANY inhaled insoluble particulates.
Wheres the data on marijuana affecting fertility in men?
Exactly some studies say it increases sperm in men lol
When u talk about smoking/vaping - is it the same case with pure nicotine via gums or sprays?
I would assume so. Nicotine in general.
Are these changes lasting? Persistent long term after cessation of drinking? Also with regards to health in general not just fertility
Does nicotine gum affect fertility ? I dont smoke but use nicotine as a stimulant . Found it useful for narcolepsy
Probably slightly, but probably way less than smoking.
as a 17yo that participates in the mentioned unhealthy activities, ie. occasional cannabis use and nicotine. are there major or serious long term detriments to fertility/sperm health that will affect me later in my future life?
As a 23 year old that started engaging in those activities at 17, if I could go back in time and undo one thing, it would exactly be that, I'd never start smoking or drinking at all. After 7 years of binging on it everyday, I can tell you it has 0 positive effects and only negative ones. sperm/fertility is obv as Dr. Huberman stated, it will def affect you in your future life, furthermore, increasing number of studies claim that before the age of 25, the rate of neuroplasticity in our brain is the highest, your brain is developing, and cannabis haults it, you become dumber in real time. No matter how much you think you won't get addicted, you will, you might think 'i can leave it whenever I want', no you wont. and it will become a lifestyle and a constant drain in your pocket.
My mother smoked and didn’t eat when she was pregnant with me. It was coffee and cigarettes for her. No wonder.
What about smoking the occasional cigar or pipe tobacco? I ask because of the fact that you don't inhale the smoke, and users don't smoke them as often as cigarette smokers. Surely, this matters.
Do edibles affect fertility the way smoking does ?
I’m also looking for an answer to this
Can the effects of cannabis on fertility be reversed if you stop using it?
I dont think cannabis affects fertility some BS some studies say cannabis actually increases Testosterone amd sperm quality so
It's not neccesarily about reproduction (generation) but regeneration of your own body with semen retention
God bless you sir you are very respected men making peoples hard way to easy destination thanks alot for your information
Great topic
Andrew my friend will do IVF soon, how long before the IVF sperm donation will he need to stop smoking weed? daily user for 10 years.
2 drinks as in 2 glasses? Or as in bottles? At once?
One drink is about 40 mililiters of 40% vodka
What about edibles?
Probably bad
Yes I think it falls under all the same category unfortunately 😕
Thank you
I haven’t had a drink in over a month in much thanks to you. Incredibly, I don’t miss it. But OTOH God damn I miss coca cola so damn much…
What about eating cannabis infused foods? Does that affect 🤔 infertility
You emphasized smoking cannabis as bad…what about edibles?
I wonder about snus? I've recently move to snus instead of smoking as much and looking to only snus. PS I dont drink or do anything past cigarettes. Almost two years sober.
what about edibles? my fiance has told me that weed in general can make your swimmers high too and they cant even make it to the egg in most cases?
Ya gotta quit it all
So throw out the birth control?
Grande Raul Albiol
i dont smoke pot its a drug...or smoke cigarettes....alcohol barely..i do drink kombucha is that bad?
kombucha is fine only thing bad in it is the sugar so try to find one without
What about edibles 😅
My same question, a few days a week of edibles on sperm health (my partner) 🤔 I think it falls under the same category as smoking it 😔
its said that beer helps with milk when breastfeeding
and now we know why the govt wants to make it legal.
why am I listening to this?🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
🎉🎉f😮😮I 4h😂
