Yes, my drawings are very detailed, and they’ve been intentionally made so that people at all skill levels can build from them. For experienced woodworkers, it might be too much information, but for others, it might be too little. Personally, I’d be fine with just mentioning the different angles-15, 30, and 45 degrees. However, the drawings have now been made in professional design software, and below, I’ll explain why the drawings are dimensioned the way they are. When you create a drawing in software like SolidWorks or Fusion 360, angles are measured differently compared to how they’re measured on a workshop tool, like a drop saw or circular saw. In the software: When you make a 30-degree cut, the program measures the angle from a reference baseline (typically horizontal). The angle is measured upwards from that baseline. So, in the drawing, what you see as a 30-degree angle might actually be a 60-degree measurement on paper. This is because the software does not measure angles the same way a saw does, which causes the confusion. In the workshop (with tools like a drop saw or circular saw): These saws are set to 90 degrees by default (straight vertical). If you tilt the blade, you are not reducing from 90 down to 0 degrees; instead, you're increasing from 0 up to 90 degrees. For example, when you set the saw to cut at a 30-degree angle, the software drawing would show a 60-degree measurement, because the software measures from the base or reference line upwards.
@@LuisLouro-up4wv Hi Luis 👍 I am doing well, and hope you are of to a good start at your new job. I am working on the new V236 blade gripper, and would have been great to have you on the team 👌👍
Great video. Thanks for sharing. The template does the trick, I guess. Last year I tried to make a Christmas tree similar to your previous model. I don't remember anymore from which YT channel I got the idea. But somehow it didn't work for me. I couldn't get it totally assembled. It's somewhere in a box. In one month I'll get back to it. For what reason do you use 19x62 mm pieces? Is that standard material in Denmark?
Thank you for the kind words ;) sorry to hear that you did not have the best of luck with the last Christmas tree. Well the 19mm thickness is a standard Measurement here in Denmark, and I should have said 64mm as that is 2,5" so did make a small mistake
I think my favorite method of assembly is glue, super glue, and brad nails. LoL! Now I just need to keep my wife from seeing this. Great video and thank you for sharing. God bless.
No I have not made any plans about the jig. If you are only making a few I think you can do without the jig, but if you are making a lot a jig would be most helpful.
Hej Erik. 🤞🏼
I am sorry to hear that :( When my card dont work I always use my wife's card as that one apparently works just fine ;) No seriously I thought Esty had a few different payment options like paypal and so on.. I need to investigate this more.
Awesome design , man. Way better than the original. Definitely an upgrade. Thanks for sharing and helping people learn.
Thank you 👍 and no problem 🎄
I love the fact that you included metric and imperial measurements. Thank you!
Well I know that a lot of my viewers are from the US :) and you are welcome
The video was great!! I just built the tree and it turned out great.. Thank you

Awesome new design!!
Thanks :)
Great job and project thx for sharing the new info on your design Keep building Cheers
I really appreciate your kind words! It means a lot to share my work with such supportive viewers like you. Cheers!
Really do love 💕 your new tree, can’t wait to make it. Thank you for making me understand what you are doing.
Thank you :)
A great uplift in design.
Thanks
Great tree
Thanks
In freedom wood these are 1x3 boards.
What a magician! Hope you are doing good my friend, I miss working with you 😁

Of all the tre designs I like yours. It has style and looks. It is different in a positiv eway. Thank you. I liked and subscribed.
Thank you, I and Like the new design as well :)
Are you going to build a few?

Lol! Thank you very much
Great design. Going to have to give this design a try. What kind of oil are you using as the finish?
Yes give tit a go :) I used a clear table top oil
@ErikHovedskou77 thank you
@mdubz727 no problem 👍
Would this work with 18mm by 69mm as this is the closest I can get to the size you used?
Yes, That would work ok.. you can adjust in the overlap
@@ErikHovedskou77 Thanks Erik. Looking forward to building this. Do the plans contain info about your jigs?
No I have not made any plans about the jig.

Hej hej,
Det kan vi helt sikkert finde ud af 👍🇩🇰 skriv en privat besked så tager vi den der fra
@@ErikHovedskou77 hvordan pokker gør jeg det? På Etsy? Eller?
jep :)
Would like your plans but I can’t buy them on Etsy. My card will not allow another country purchase

Do you have any plans for this tree. Ian
Yes, there is a link for Etsy under the video, and there you will finde the plans
I did not see any dimensions or did I miss them?
The dimension are 19x64mm or 3/4" x 2 1/2" for the boards
No. Cut list
Not at the moment
