    @Erik Hovedskou *_We love your UA-cam channel. We watch it when we can! UA-cam has taught me so much about life and how to properly do things as a father. I'm trying to teach boys ages 13 & 9 stuff like woodworking so things they can use it later in life. I didn't have a dad or grandparents around to teach me so I learned after failing many times.... Watching your videos helps teach my kids some valuable lessons. I'm always willing to learn!_* Thanks 👍

    I see at the 4:33 minute mark that you said you set your saw to a 30 degree angle. Yet your plans showed the angle of the cut is 60 degrees.

    • @ErikHovedskou77
      @ErikHovedskou77  Рік тому

      Hi Stanley, It is true that on the drawing the angle shows 60 degrees as measurements on the drawing only measure the real angle, but on our miter saw it measures from 90 degrees so therefore it is 30 degrees for 0 degrees is 90 degrees on our miter saw.
      I was in the workshop myself and just had to get my head together :) And I'm about to make a wooden star where the angle is 54 degrees on the drawing, but must be sawn at 36 degrees on the miter saw he he but I'll probably make a note on the drawing where the degrees at which the miter saw must be set can be seen.
      Hope it makes sense
