Do I have to have the midi chords for it to sound like this? Or should I be able to create this exact same sound by just following along? I was trying on another video for a synth sound of yours but it wasn’t sounding the same
Hold on lemme check the download links real quick and see if I've included the midis or presets. You shouldn't have any problem unless there's something you're missing. I haven't had anyone had a problem so far in having it sound the same.

And by the way, grab some FREE midi from Synthhacker's site. Since I'm just kinda using his idea, I'm trying to give him his proper shoutout by referring to some of his stuff. Yeahhhh gotta upgrade... as soon as I get my hands on the M1, I'll upgrade my Logic. Certain plugins I use are not compatible with newer OSX updates so I'm holding on still 😅
@@aaronbazil just got M1 last week and a tonne of my plugins are broken. Don't fall for the hype and keep your expectations in check. New Logic versions are still full of bugs. I'm seriously considering switching to another DAW and using VST over AU plugins... 7 years of Logic Pro down the drain. But seeing as Apple aren't going back to Intel, this is pretty much Apple's future of music production. 😢
@@samwu1836 btw there are VST and AU host/wrapper plugins like the one I've been using lately called Blue Cat Audio Patchwork. If you can get your hands on it, it would save you switching DAWs because you'd be able to host both VSTs and AUs, and set macros.
@@aaronbazil Oooh,, I'll look into it. Thank you. But I'd say a big problem as well is that my finger is deep in the Native Instruments pie... I just dropped $1k on their S-series keyboard last month and actual format limitations of AU are killing me. Internal MIDI routing inside Logic is impossible because AU plugins don't have MIDI in or out (only instrument slot plugins have MIDI in). So to this day, you can't control effect plugins with MIDI signals. Only AU MIDI FX or AU instruments take MIDI in.

@@aaronbazil your reply game is insane 😳 I just went to the '+' icon for a new track > software instrument > instrument : alchemy And when i opened the alchemy settings, i went to 'advanced' and some of the things r just missing for some reason, like the 2 knobs next to 'vol pan coarse tune fine'. Idk, it's weird 😅 And overall default setting was different (mine also says 'factory default' instead of 'default') dunno 🤷🏻♀️ if it cant be fixed, o well 😅
