Ford had a recall on those 16” steel wheels 🛞 back in the day for cracking that’s why there are 2 different styles of wheels. 05 is only year for antenna on RR quarter panel.
@@LoveWhatYouDrive black on black on black on black on black is how I'd describe my 03 Marauder. These cars are the greatest and will be in my family for generations.
Those seats were an available option. More than likely a detective or supervisors car if it was ordered that way. I see back doors work from inside meaning not patrol used. (Knobs remain). Very rare find and sought after seats but definitely factory!
Those are the 16's on the 2006 2005 I noticed that those p71s have the antenna on the rear quarter panel instead of in the windshield the also came with the full chrome hub cap i maybe wrong it's just something that I noticed on those years
I would put a spotlight back in it. I used to go to etisford and look up every option a car had by the vin number. I don't know if you can still do that. My 07 is almost 145K and my 11 just hit 148K. Factory air bags were 2FAFP71 and extra side air bags were 2FAHP71.
@@LoveWhatYouDrive YO, Love !! Early Panthers had 15" wheels. 16s were optional. After that, the 16" was Standard. The famous 95 MERC was fitted with the "Made in Italy" 15" x 6.5" alloys that were on early luxury Panthers. Mine is gonna be 30 years old in May of '25 -- 184,000 mi. today -- with NO RUST anywhere. Parts are starting to get scarce. This is a real nice Panther -- Best of luck to the owner.

My 2003 steel wheels have never cracked.
Matt thanks for the time. I love your black on black on black Crown Victoria. Definitely special car and interesting features.

@ agree 💯
We're rolling out looking for America's greatest Panthers! After seeing the sticker on the back driver window I had to say that.
@@midwestpanther98 if it's in Wisconsin or da UP I'll be there with at least a couple Panthers worth looking at

Nice, thanks for the information! Cool to know these things, especially for me who’s seen so many already.
So where do you guys find all these beautiful Panther bodies?
In what sense “find all these panther bodies” where to buy? Or where these videos come from?

Most of the ‘05 P71’s and earlier had 16” rims
Did not know that fact. It took me by surprise
The 2006 Vic is when they went to 17s because of the little bit of lift for the curbs extra

Ford went to the 17 inch steel wheel in 2006 on the CVPI.
Thanks for the info 🫡
I love my 05 p71 but one thing I hated was the thin steel rims / tires I need at least 8.5 width rim & a 235 mm tire size 😂
fun fact the 05 CV's are the only year ever made with the antenna on the rear passenger side quarter panel
UFO Interceptor LoL
P71's did not have 17's until 2006
Thanks 🤝🏼
P71 sap seats or cv lx
Thanks
And 2005 is the only year with the new steering wheel and old cluster
Thanks for the insight
Problem spent all his money replacing every 20 year old deal and gasket to replace a ticket light bulb
I couldn’t have better said myself
