Bun, I LOVE your videos man. XIV is my first MMO, and I can't even express how helpful these have been as I've leveled new jobs. You actually explain what to do at the various different stages of leveling with the tools you have, versus all the 25 minute videos of people just explaining the abilities one by one. On top of that, you show how to do it on a gamepad (the only way I can play) too! So seriously, thank you so much!
Returning Warrior main after a few years gone. Haven’t played since Heavensward. Things are…different lol. Thanks for the quick update video. Very helpful.
0:38 Level 15 single target rotation should be Heavy Swing first, then use Berserk. So you can get two Maims in Berserk! Might as well get that extra 20 damage in! 3:55 Level 70 rotation has an error in it. Your second Infuriate usage should be after the 4th Fell Cleave, because your first three Fell Cleaves are free with Inner Release and cost no gauge. In your image, you'd still be at 70 gauge when you hit your second Infuriate after the second IR Fell Cleave, capping your gauge and losing 20. In your background video at 6:25 you did the 70 opener correctly, so I'd chalk it up to an oversight~
Great guide, ty! Sometimes can be hard to find rotations while levelling as as lotta folk post rotations for max level and that's it. Also, may sound super dumb but i'm SOOOOO glad you mentioned the numbers for when to single target and aoe. I forever was overthinking whether aoe was for 2+ or 3+, and my brain hurt while trying to work out the better option. Me warrior, unga bunga. Only need count to 3.
You forgot the most important part of Warrior! Completely turning your brain off and letting the spirit of pure unga bunga flow through you! The amount of dumb things I've done as a warrior is inumerable and it still always works. Fighting a dungeon boss solo from 50% health until mutual defeat? Done that to the sound of my entire group cheering me on. Getting hit with AoE after AoE with all but one healer dead and staying alive through mitigation and self healing until that healer could rez the others? Done that too Turning your brain off and letting the warrior rotation just flow through you is the best way to play, nothing fancy or skillfull, just pure martial rage!
this is the opener what is the regilar rotation you have to follow after this and when do u bust the opener again? or you just rotate this one?? confused 😅
Hi bun boos! i'd like to ask something about mitigation. I'm tanking criterion/savage stuff for the very first time and what are the preferable combos for the mitigation for warrior? I'm a little worried I'm not doing too well since after a TB my hp goes in half (Ive tried using nascent flash + vengeance or rampart + nascent flash + thrill of battle). I do use Equilibrium if my hp falls under 50% but I'd like to make it easier for my healer since I feel like I'm doing a pretty shitty job.. LMAO. Do you have any advice for this?
@champamampa6295 late reply, but it's either the kings axe or the faes crown axe. Kings axe is from Titania extreme, and the faes crown axe is a craftable.
thinking of picking up Warrior as my main tank (I’ve just unlocked all the tanks and took GNB with me to level 83 to the very first quest of endwalker), and despite hearing it has a simple nature, I wanted to optimize myself as best as I could, and this is by far the most concise of all guides I have seen. Thank you bunches!
"Weaving" is when you use abilities in between 2 weapon skills or spells. you will notice weapon skills will make a bunch of your action icons dim and spin, which we call a "GCD" (Global Cooldown). Most abilities do not do this, so they are oGCDs (off Global Cooldown). You are intended to use the oGCDs while the GCD is still spinning, so you "weave" these abilities without interrupting your other actions. Hope this was helpful! If not, keep asking questions, it helps others know how to help you better understand, and I highly suggest looking into more FFXIV beginner guides!
confused about layouts now that its changed around depending on which video your watching as part of the class controller guides. Which ones do you suggest since to build muscle memory you want to put similar skills where you have them in other classes (tanks)
Most of the layouts are very different, if anything it shows you can move around to what fits your own needs, so I’d say just try out the one that speaks to you the most. 🙌
Weave means to use in between your combo moves. Like your 123 combo, you can fit any of those moves in between 1-2 or 2-3 without it affecting your combo, allowing for you to throw in more damage.
ngl, I'm a tiny bit disappointed this isn't just 8 min of Fell Cleve :P
🤣🔜

Good video! As someone who’s learning warrior and newish to the game, I appreciate the breakdown!
This is a good refresher for someone who took a break from WAR. Thank you! Please do more for other classes.
Not me just pausing every time Bun Boss says "Inferior-ate"

Thanks so much for this - I just came back after a 4 year break and my hot bars were a mess!
This is exactly what I needed. Thank you!

I’m a healing main, but I’m here because I need to have a tank class just in case. Thanks for the video! Super helpful!

Loud and clear. We dont need healers here xd thanks for the video!
This was great. Thank you
THANK YOU for breaking down the rotations by level!
holy fck my tiktok brain understood everything. Target audience reached. Thank you

Nice job creating a concise explanation.
But ya gotta stop saying “inferiorate”. It’s “infuriate”, four syllables - as in to make something “furious”.
Cool. Are you going to make a video for every job? And in which order?

could be good to include some examples for how weaves could look...I didnt even know what weave refered to (had to look it up)
I play on controller as well, how do you get your hotbars to be double like that? And how do you swap between them? 😱
Cross Bar settings. Theres a Video about that.
I use beserk before maim so i get two maim crits, first rotation
what outfit are you wearing??
Go to the next summoner guide )
Where did you get that axe glamour at 0:41?

What happened to my cone AOE? What did they do to my boy?

I am going to remake this video though in 2024 since it can be really helpful for a bunch of new players
Ff14 where dungeons are long and ugh Prae - I don’t think we have tik tok brain
But good guide still lol😊
so you DO use two in dungeons for trash pulls I was only popping one and was getting murdered lol
Healer? Oh that used to be my main job

i just aoe on trash packs of 2 because i'm lazy. and no one minds a tank that aoes.
What do u mean by weave ??

Plse do Paladin next plsssseeeee!!!??😢😢😢😢😩😩😩😂😂😂😂
Infuriate only has one R, man. In-fur-ri-ate. You're pronouncing it like "Infuriorate" and it's confusing as heck.
Would you say that his pronunciation… Infuriates you?
Hey I'm sorry but Infuriate only has one R and 4 syllables

Whelp. You were wrong.
i hate it so much that you are using controller in your footage
tik tok brain T.......T
