I had a shop install my ome control arms a few months ago and I don't remember getting those grease fittings back from them after screwing on the dust cap. It's there somewhere I can order a new set of the zerk fittings so I can grease my control arms every 5000 miles or is it a standard size part I cab grab from auto zone?
These require greasing out of the box with a lithium grease, and maintenance for the ball joint every 3k-5k miles. The bushings do not require greasing.
Shop these Old Man Emu Upper Control Arms! : terrain.jp/3SiOm1y
Are these rebuildable? Can you just purchase the ball joint when it’s worn out, same with bushings?
How often do these need to be re-greased and what type of grease is recommended please?
The general rule depending on use is every 3000-5000 miles. ARB recommends lithium grease for these UCA's.

Double check the underside of the dust cap. OME routed out a slot for the zerk to sit inside. Hopefully the shop put them in there!
Would be awesome if ARB would actually produce these enough to buy. Always on back order.
Are these replaceable ball joints? Or are they welded in?
do these come pre greased, or do you have to grease them?
You will have to grease them out of the box!
Torque wrench?
Agreed. I wouldn't impact those nuts back on like that. Find the specs and torque them properly.
What about greasing, not mentioning anything about that?

What grease are you using for the ball joint and do the bushings need greasing?
The bushings do not require grease being maintenance free. For the ball joint, lithium grease is recommended.
If I just switch out the UCA do i need to do a frontend alignment after.
Yes, suspension numbers move a lot anytime you mess with suspension it needs to be realigned
Agreed! An alignment is always recommended after taking apart or upgrading your suspension!
Why are the greasing questions not answered?
Looks like we haven't gotten to it yet! They have all been answered if you have questions!
@@ExtremeTerrainToyota thank you 😊
No torque specs?
We recommend to torque to factory spec unless otherwise specified.
A few ugga duggas
And now you’ll need a body mount chop.
