Gave a video like. Awesome cards as always. Love the idea of buy a card in a set for little coin to make sure you like it before you spend good money on a bigger player. Loved that DS card of Jim Abbott. He was so cool growing up. I remember no one would trade a Jim Abbott card that I traded with because everyone thought he was so cool. I really enjoy picking up those DS cards. Buybacks are sweet too. Especially those #'d auto ones! Thanks for sharing, Dylan🤙🤙
Dude Absolutely Jim Abbott cards were completely untouchable from my friends growing up. Probably because I lived in Orange County ,but he was a genuine inspiration to so many kids and adults. I cant wait to share some more of my Jim Abbott collection soon. Always appreciate your great comments triple shaka dude
That would be a really cool idea for an insert. Have cards that are meant to pass on and have a tracker for each one! Maybe each person that got the card can leave a lil history of how they got it and who the gave it to. After all that's what makes cards fun!
Nice Buybacks! Digging the Desert Shield! And I LOVE the SHINE!! 🤩🤩🤩 That Gwynn and Pettitte are amazing! I think the Pettitte would probably be a strong PSA 9. They’re pretty harsh with 90s grades, and that’s pretty much all I grade - 90s SHINE! I call that a “pock mark” or “dimple” which I consider different than a “dent” which is usually man-made and not factory produced like the “dimple”. The hulking on that is VERY slight, almost not noticeable at all, so I don’t think you would be punished down to an 8. Man, what a great set to feature around the 4th of July! Thanks for sharing this!!
Brian !! thanks dude and thanks for the insight on the dimple mark. I have always taken a loupe to my PSA graded cards for comparison but since I am new to buying the old refractors its tough for me to decide the correct grade. I dont know why but I have so much fun looking at my cards under a magnification now ha ha ha ha I have lost it
@@DoubleDvintagebaseballcardsOh yeah! That loupe is a GAME CHANGER. I just submitted an order of late 90s -early 00s refractor SHINE using that as a pre-screening tool. I can’t wait to see how it goes! I’m feeling more confident that I’m not missing smaller defects - particularly on the corners and edges. Thanks again for the recommendation, Dylan! And I WILL see you at the National!!
Really enjoyed this one Dylan! Appreciate you sharing some shiny stuff with us, but really love the buybacks. I think we've all "been Ellioted" at some point.
Dylan, how shall we describe your new Gwynn card? That is one legit cherry-sick double-sided dope shine-fest bad-ass Flashback refractor! 🤩🤩🤩P.S. I REALLY like it!
Great message Dylan, the only right way to collect is the way that makes you happy and enjoy the hobby the most!
Thank you Steve for coming by my friend :)
Dude! I’m so glad you continued this. When that last one cut off, I really felt Jim Elliott’ed.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesome modern cards! Etching is awesome! Love the 98 Flashback Gwynn! The Padres uniform was awesome!
Enjoy your buyback collection too. ⚾️🤙🏻🤙🏻
