- In this series of videos, I show the process behind creating the first model railway for my children. Moving on from the Train Set on the carpet to something approaching a proper model railway.
I have found you can get mis-tinted paint very cheap at hardware stores and often the colours are very suitable browns for baseboard work. I have got several 500ml or 1l cans for $3-$5. Have also found it takes maybe 1/4 a tube of cheap artist acrylic paint in a dark green to tint 1l of cheap ceiling white to a grass green colour
Great tip!
Hi mate
Hope you are well
Yes it all ways great to start again you learn from your mistakes too
Look forward to part 2
Keep safe arp
Thanks Adi!
Never thought about using that as a baseboard material. How strong is it?
Its fairly stiff, I suppose it depends on the thickness, this is 25mm.
For your safety, I would recomand always wearing a filtering mask with any kind of aerosol paint, even outdoors. I have one for my aerograph paintings, it's not a luxury for me.
Good point
How do you attach track to it please?
