Looking good and the trains seem to run a lot smother on this layout. Think you might need 2 maybe 3 point decoders as you can run 4 points off each one
How about putting a bufferstop at the end of each siding so nothing over-runs the point where it should stop safely for a start? Bufferstops are very cheap to buy from Hattons or somewhere. That is, if you don't have any already. Trust me, you don't want to wind up watching coaches or trucks piling up off the rails. Railway Safety first, just like the real thing. You won't get any requests from me until both hospital appointments have gone by. That's what's on my mind slightly at the moment.
I already have the buffers. I want to paint them up before installing them. Good luck with your appointments. I'll be thinking of you and wishing for your safe return to service
I'm interested in how you intend to wire the turntable. As it stands the 2 tracks coming from opposite sides of the layout towards the turntable will have opposite polarity, whether you are using DCC or DC. I await seeing this done with interest! Good luck!
@@ThunderbirdX Probably make it easier, but be aware that the 2 tracks coming together at the turntable will still mean you will have opposite polarity so you will need to sort something.
You can’t access the third loop, it’s always nice to have two way points to go from all loops 👍

It'll just be wired up for DCC since only the tender engines need to use it
