This looks sooo good!!! Thank you both for your time and demonstration on how to fix this ham. Although its January 2024, im buying a ham and fixing this!! I have always wanted a graze for my ham that doesn't require grape jelly ?not that i have anything against that) i just wanted something different, and here it is!!! Thank you so much for all your recipes and Melissa for all your time editing and for the recipes written out. Thank you both so very, very much. Love your show and love both of you. I can tell not.only are you married, but you have respect, love and such close friends in your relationship. I pray that God blesses you and your marriage for years to come. Again thank you.
Hi , I'm Nancy from Georgia. Thank you so very much for these wonderful recipes. I love the way you explain how to & the tips you give. I feel so I blessed to have found your page. I've learned so much from just the few recipes that I have seen so far. Cant wait to see more of them.!!!! God bless you , & thank again.!!!!
This made our ham so good! We always like to explain how we got the recipe in the first place. Tom has several recipes he’s made himself - but there’s so many great cooks out there who have helped and shared with us. Thank you for the nice message- we’re grateful you’ve watched our channel! Merry Christmas!
Love how Tom expresses his love for food when he sample-tastes at the end of baking time! That’s enough to make me want to try it! Looking forward to the next ham-honored holiday meal! ❤️
OMG OMG I have fixed hams in the past NEVER A COMMENT. I used your ham glaze for Thanksgiving and I am here to tell everyone how so yummy, delicious, and easy to fix this glaze is. My Hubby commented, our best friends commented how great it was. I fixed another for Christmas again it was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!! Thank ya'll for the recipe and techniques. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. Thank you once again
This sounds marvelous!!! I usually make the cookedwhole hams, and score the ham on top diagonal. Thesis the glaze I am using for the Christmas ham. thanks Tom, and melissa!!! Greetings from ohio!!! Thank you, again.
Good Afternoon Tom , Melissa❤ This Ham looks so Super Delicious ! It's my FAVORITE Meat. Except for Fried Chicken, and the Breasts and Wing is my Faovrite😊 Good and Crispy! Our Four Children when younger ALWAYS WANTED LEGS ! NOW GROWN AND FAMILIES OF THEIR OWN, NO ONE WANTS ANYTHING BUT ! MY PRECIOUS DAD ONLY LOVED THE WINGS BACK BONE AND RUMP AND WINGS! I REMEMBER BACK TO WHEN I Was Nine Years old and not anything else but them! YET I CAN MAKE ME THOSE TOMATO AND MAYO SANDWICHES , I CAN JUST FIX ME THEM AND I'M GOOD TO GO!BUT TOM AND MELISSA LIKE I SAY , I LOVE SEAFOOD AND ESPECIALLY MAKING OYSTER & CLAM FLITTERS AND FISH I WAS BROUGHT UP ON FLOUNDER, ROCK, TROUT,DRUM FISH, SPOT AND CROKERS After all Born on Chincoteague Island! It's Always Delicious Seafood! I am enjoying you both so much and watching Tom Cook That Fruitcake looks So Delicious! Good Lord Willing will make it for the Holidays God Bless You Both You are Both Such A Blessing to be Part of as one your Viewers🙏❤🙏❤🙏
Man this looks so delicious! I love love love glazed ham! I certainly prefer it over turkey. The only way I eat turkey is smoked or fried. Someone would need to do an outstanding job with lots of flavor on an oven baked Turkey before I’ll eat it. I want chicken and dressing not turkey and dressing! I prefer to allow some to hit the bottom of the pan bc that’s where the juices are and I like to glaze a little with that too. The only thing I would do differently is to add that little packet to the glaze recipe bc I like those spices. Your ham was so pretty!
I TOO AM NOW A SUBSCRIBER TO YOUR CHANNEL. I LOVE YOUR RECIPES AND THE WAY YOU EXPLAIN EVERYTHING. I LOVE YOUR RECIPES. THANK YOU FOR SHARING THEM WITH ALL OF US!!! KEEP 'EM COMING!!!
I bet you were a great teacher. You explain everything so well and so everyone can follow and understand. I listen to many cooks but I think I enjoy yours most of all and you cook very close if not the same as my Mother used to cook. Thank you for your channel.
I'm really loving your channel Most channels play music and don't even show themselves or give you amounts of ingredients So please don't change anything it already perfect ❤😊
My traditional Christmas breakfast was country ham, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, grits, hash browns, biscuits and gravy. I was feeding a lot of people. LOL
Oh WoW! That ham looks so delicious, now I'm hungry......lol I'm going to try this glaze for our Christmas dinner, thank you for showing us this recipe..
Tom and Mellisa thanks for another yummy recipe. Great alternative for turkey. btw- we had Brisket for Christmas dinner one year and loved it. We were not blessed with children but if we had any I would like to think we would cook what they wanted too. Tom cooking what the kids want is so sweet. You two seem like great Godly parents! God bless.
We like ham for Christmas made a turkey a ham for Thanksgiving.thankyou for recipes Tom a melissa.we for sweet potatoes a mashed we got 10 kids my grandkids here in corbin.ky😊😊😊❤❤
Yeah, you were reading my mind when you decided to get a pc of ham from the backside of the ham! As always I cannot wait to try this. Even though I already fix an awfully good ham in the crock pot using brown sugar & crushed pineapple. Of course now you've got me wanting ham. Great job guys! 😋 😋 😋 😋
Thanks, Melissa & Tom!! I had purchased a spiral ham before. But,I didn't use the glaze because, I cooked the ham for approximately and hour (thought the ham was not cooked) in my blue speckled roaster. It was too dry and tough to eat. So, I ended up boiling it to try to soften it enough to chew it. Now, I know exactly what to do with my 2nd spiral ham. Thanks, again!!
I love ham! Not so much the spiral sliced, but a good Smithfield shank ham. I really love ham at Christmas, but most of the family wants turkey again so I lose out lol. Definitely not for Christmas but you mentioned cat head biscuits, nuttin better with them than country salt cured ham & red eye gravy! Oh my mouth is watering! I'd love to see you do that on your channel. I haven't had country ham & fried apples in ages.
First of all my name is Debbie and my mother has called me Debadoo my whole life.😊 And second of all Ham is Christmas. So you tell your family sorry but we are having ham this year for Christmas you had turkey for Thanksgiving. Good luck to you.😁
@@debramehan8644 nice to meet another debadoo. A friend of mine started calling me that many many years ago & it stuck. Trust me, when it was my family, me in charge, we had ham. Now it's my daughter in law's family, I mostly only have my son left. I've hinted a lot, but that's what they do, & I can't really rock that boat yanno. I do get my ham throughout the year occasionally, just not at Christmas. But us Debadoos know how it should be done. 🤭
This looks yummy. I'm going to try this for our Christmas ham. An old family recipe of mine for baked ham calls for a grape juice, brown sugar glaze made much like your honey glaze with the slurry and a little Dijon mustard. If the ham is spiral sliced I add a bit of ground cloves. If it's not pre-sliced I score the top and poke whole cloves in the meat. It's delicious.
I made your ham for Easter and it turned out beautiful. My husband and family loved it. Thank you and Melissa for your wonderful recipes. Enjoy you both so much.....Kris
Thank you, Kris, for sharing with us that you made the ham, and it turned out well. We think it's delicious. We appreciate so much that you are watching our channel.

Decided to cook today when I looked on your site. Decided to try. Delicious! Even my husband raved about how good. He usually doesn't like baked ham. Thank you so much. Now going to try your cake recipe since I used pineapple juice from can of pineapple for sauce.

😊Just wanted to say hey i just finished my ham dinner using your recipe. It was awesome, the ham package said to put 1/2" water in the bottom of the ham pan and i did that. I would have been better sticking to your instructions completely but the ham glazed over and after the last 20min it actually was a bit crispy on the edges. Thanks for your advice. I will use your videos more. Peace. Happy holidays.
