I made this recipe yesterday for Easter using a 9lb spiral ham. It was the juiciest BEST tasting ham I have ever made! The taste was so wonderful no one asked for mustard! Unheard of in my family. The optional final step with the sugar, outrageous finishing touch!!! Thank you Laura! I will never use a different recipe. 🥰
Looks so good! My mum would sometimes use cherry juice and brown sugar and cover it with pineapple rings. Surprisingly, it wasn't overly sweet, the pineapple balanced it really well. She had all different glazes but that one was my favorite. She was my favorite, still is but in a heavenly way.
I’m still using your ham recipe from 11 years ago! I went to watch it this morning (Easter Sunday) and saw your new one! Don’t have oranges so we are sticking with your OG recipe this year!
Simular to my Hawaii style baked ham. Honey, brown sugar, ginger, clove, nutmeg, an pineapple juice glaze. I add ginger ale in a spray bottle an spray it on during cooking. Cross cut only, spiral cut hams seem to dry out the ham. So I also inject the ham with the hot glaze before baking. Or smoking the ham with Apple wood.
I love a honey glazed ham, but there is only one place from where I would buy it. It has gotten too expensive in the last few years. I'm glad to make this at home. Cheers!
Laura - try the better version of this recipe: 1. Boil the ham in full-fat Coke (not water) once you’ve soaked it overnight 2. Substitute black treacle (molasses) instead of honey - it’s to die for! You’ll never use honey again. 3. The next day, slice the ham cold and serve with fried eggs and French fries - delish!
Great hack with lining the pan with tin foil, I will use that next time I make a ham :) Thanks for the recipe and as a side note, you were an inspiration to me to get my own cooking channel started on UA-cam just last month :) I've been watching your channel for probably over 10+ years and learned so much about cooking from you :) Sending love from Nashville!
Folks probably like this, I am from s/e rural Kentucky & I / we only eat salt cured, smoked country ham. I will eat deli boiled ham occasionally on a sammich
Looks delicious, can't wait to try it. I missed the link for the extra recipes for those who pre-ordered your book. Would you mind posting it again? I'm sure I am not the only one looking. thank you!!
When I still lived in the states my employer gave everyone a HoneyBaked ham (we had a Honey Baked producer in my home town). I was glad to get it, preferred it over monetary Christmas bonus. Since I've moved to Danmark I sure miss having this delicious ham and now I can make it myself! Thanks Laura!
Great recipe! I 100% agree, Laura. I also don't like fancy honey glazed-ham. I just want the classic caramelized honey crust. Sweet and salty deliciousness. I like to serve mine with cherries too 🍒❤
Laura, I'm impressed with your hand strength squeeze the juice out of double-half tangerines 😃 I'm going to have a Ham Party! I love the idea of making any kind of sandwich with Laura's Best Honey Glaze Ham. That glaze looks beautiful. My mouth is just watering watching you split the spiral pieces and adding the hot glaze 😋 Thank you for this updated recipe and the tips / tricks you provided. What a beautiful presentation! 😋😋🥰🥰🤗🤗 Did Mia give you donut sticker on your Apron 🍩 🥰

Oh this updated recipe is absolutely delightful, and cannot wait to try it!!!
So glad you enjoyed it!
I have always used honey mustard and brown sugar. And put in brown in bag. Delicious and moist.
Laura that is the most beautiful ham I’ve ever seen…(and I’m 74…lol) I can’t wait to give it a go for Easter 🐣 ❤…thanks sweetie

I love how she actually eats and enjoys her food!! You know there's no "spit bucket" nearby.
Hahaha neverrrrr!! Ya girl loves to eat!!

Fantastic!!
A ham party sounds delightful and delicious 😋😋😋
It’s the best kind of party!!
I saw this on Allison Roman. I loved her ham party
Looks so good!
The crusty sugar layer is my favorite part of a honey baked ham!
I used to be muslim awhile ago but after I left then tried pork for the first time the addiction set in...it started with that wonderful ham
Awwwww.... where's the 'Hii Guys' part? and Love from India. Been a fan since I don't know.... eternity.... ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It looks so delicious
Super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Superb!
Such good tips, my glaze on Christmas morning in hot Australia always ends up on the foil 🥴
Besides the actual ham - the best part of the video is Laura's disclaimer "spare me the whining about the sugar"...noted 😃😃😃
My family loves your crockpot ham. Sooooo good. Where's the ham Diane?!? Haha
Omgggggg we quote this all the time 🤣🤣🤣🤣 “that’s a good ham Diane” 🤣🤣🤣
Good video thanks 👍🏻
Laura, what is the difference in cured and cured ham?
Still waiting on ma updated minestrone 🤣💕 Happy UK Mother’s Day Laura ❤️
Awesome recipe mam, please show italian torta caprese recipe please
My family doesn’t like ham. What’s wrong with them????😂
Just make them try Laura’s ham recipe! Game changer 💯
Understand that. I find ham so salty. No matter what I do to it. It’s delicious but sooo salty.
@@marieanne7569 With very salty meats/fish you are supposed to pair them with things like plain boiled potatoes/rice anything unsalted really.
Never ate a ham that I thought was in any way salty. Just taste ham. Your strange.
Yummy ❤
I believe anything I cook that you make, I can have a party on even if it's just one of your simple boiled egg recipes .
Finally I can honey glaze a ham..... Thank you.
Don't cut my head off but can I use maple syrup?
,,a cool video keep up the great content.. Thank you… Greetings Jörg
Yum!
Yay first comment I love Laura in The Kitchen!!! ❤

Mmmmmm!
I went to a ham party once. Now I'm not allowed to go to Camden anymore.
I just laughed out loud
going ham at a ham party
Daging begin Beli dmn ya Di jkt 😂
Shoot, the honey costs more than the ham.
Love the sugar comment you tell girl! Life is too short for all of that nonsense!
Take a drink everytime she says "pop"
Please don’t, it will take you a while to recover 🤣
