I just used your ham recipe with the only change being the addition of whole cloves. I have been cooking for over 60 years and this is the best ham I have ever tasted. I also love your calming voice. Hope you have had a blessed Thanksgiving.
Made this last year for Easter. There absolutely no reason to try and find another recipe on the tube. I'm about to make this again today. This glaze is no joke! The flavor profile this gives the ham is bananas! Your taste buds will insist you have a 2nd or 3rd plate. Happy Easter and God bless.
Like your video. You spoke so well where I could understand things clearly. Your ham glaze is to die for, family never ate my cooked ham before. We are having it again today at Christmas. Thank you. Maggie
Hi! I’ve been using your ham recipe for the past two years. Everyone asks me to cook the ham for the holidays. This recipe is amazing! If you’re thinking about trying this recipe, please don’t hesitate because it’s finger licking good 😊. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing recipe.
It has been twelve years since I have made a Christmas Dinner. Your Ham Instructions are the BEST! I could not remember how my Mother made her Hams so Delicious. This is how she did it. Thank You so much! Happy Holidays to you!
I found your recipe on UA-cam and made your ham and brown sugar glaze and it was a hit with my husband’s family for Mother’s Day. I had no leftovers! Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipe. I will be making your ham recipe from now on. ❤️
It is my first time making ham at home. I used to buy it from Honey Baked Ham. I used your glaze recipe and my kids said it was the best ham ever. 10 out of 10! I can’t stop eating it! It’s so good! Thank you for this recipe!!
I made this last year and it was delicious and a hit. It is so easy to follow. I had to look at the video again to remember what to do this year. This is definitely my new way of cooking my holiday ham.
I Loved your video I really enjoyed how detailed your instructions are. School teacher clarity. People may know how to do a task but not everyone can actuate the instructions. Keep it up. Respect central cali
You should put the ingredients in the description. It'll be so much easier to go shopping for them. I know I need nutmeg but couldn't remember the other seasoning. Making it for Easter. Looks incredible
Sorry for the late reply, I got locked out of my account lol! You are absolutely right, thank you for bringing this up, next video will be easier to follow
You have the dreamiest voice ever. Thanks for sharing this, it was a pleasure to watch and the ham looks delicious. I'll definitely be looking at more of your videos xox
Made this recipe twice last Christmas…planning to do it again for thanksgiving this year. Hands down 🙌 it’s the best recipe ever. Also love your showmanship and your beautiful voice calming voice... ❤
I leave out the Cinnamon but use Allspice 2 teaspoons and 1/4 nutmeg (I hate Nutmeg, but a little w/Allspice gives it a hint and I cool it the use 1-2 Tablespoons Honey, 1/2 C White Sugar 1 Cup Brown (The less honey helps the Brown Sugar stick.) Cool Ham then add Honey and Sugar, searing it under a 425° Broil or using a Chef's Tourch. Do this multiple times. Don't leave unattended during this Searing Process. Fabulous X 100!
Looks Great! Thanks so much.....now that my mom is gone, this is the first year that I will be preparing thanksgiving dinner...never done a ham or turkey before, but this video gave me all the confidence I need💕
I just tried this recipe on thanksgiving and omg this is a must!!! I just couldn’t find the All Season so I used a bit extra nutmeg, pumping spice and clove powder. everyone loved it 😍
Thank you for this recipe! I can't wait to try it. Ham is 99 cents a pound on sale right now, so I bought one because it's my husband's favorite. I subscribed because of this video and your relaxed style and speaking voice is so calming. The pace and volume of your voice over is lovely.
This looks delicious! I bought 2 hams after Thanksgiving. They were on sale. So around $6 each for really big hams. I'm about to go make this glaze right now!
I agree about the cloves. I am making it now and I wondered about the cloves. We've been cooking ham's for years{60} And everyone i know always used whole cloves.
Well presented video~love how you present and address your audience. I have made variations of this my whole life. I enjoyed your offering and am about to launch my next ham... My son, I hear, is salivating already.... I will adapt my approach tonight... Vanilla? I'm a little nervous about that... To my recollection, is this not a 50's style offering? How long have you been doing your ham this way and who taught this to you? Best and thanks! The house is about to smell real homey!
Hello! I just found your channel, i loved the ham video, I'm making it tomorrow for Thanksgiving dinner! But so sad to see you didn't keep up with your channel, i only found a few videos, and you have a beautiful voice, very calmly, please come back!! I know you gona be a huge success!!!!!😃😃😃😃🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
So funny you wrote this, I decided to start posting again haha!! I just got done filming a few videos about 5 minuets ago lol!! Still have to edit but they will be coming very soon!
Omg here I am again 2022 baby let’s get this going happy Holidays to you all I’m making 2 hams this year I got the spiral ham. To anyone thinking about trying this try it and follow the instructions and you will not be disappointed. Let’s get this started 🤤
Hello, love the glaze! Question, why didn’t you turn the ham back on its side after the first 30 min and then put on your glaze? That would make it easier to get into the slices.
THAT LOOKS SO GOOD!! How long did you cook it total? I noticed that the package said to cook it 12-15 minutes per pound. That was a 12 llb ham. Did you cook it nearly 3 hours or less than that???
do you have a a good recipe for Collard greens. My granddaughter wanted them today and I bought them. and bacon . we are having a ham. I was going to cut off a piece to cook with them but have no clue. My mom made them all the time but I dont like them
The ham hock came out great. I have to refine the baking but all your flavors were there. Spiral slicing really helped. I would have forgotten to do that. Thanks.
I went town to the freezer and took out all the ham hocks. They are really big. Come to find there were only 10 ham hocks and they each weighed about 4 pounds each. Found some smaller 2-pounder ham hocks in the freezer also. Everybody likes Pork Osso Bucco with gremolata.
splendid recipe. Thanks for making it so easy for such impressive results (looks and taste). I did not have two cups of brown sugar so I used the cup I had and it was just great. Question: Are two cups really necessary? Anyway, thanks so much!
Hi Franck and thank you so much! 2 cups are DEFINITELY not needed, the brown sugar I used was organic and had a super light taste, so I used more but if you are using regular brown sugar than 1 is enough. I actually should have clarified this in my video, Im kicking myself right now!

The ham I bought is precooked. How do I glaze it without drying it out. At what temperature should I put it in the oven and for how long? Thanks in advance for responding. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
If your ham is precooked,i would go low and slow! Maybe around 250 degrees while your ham is soaking in the glaze, then increase to 300 or 350 to fully warm! Happy Thanksgiving!
So I'm a total beginner. I see you didn't follow the "x amount of time per lbs" formula. That's OK to do? The ham I have is 16 lbs bit bigger than yours. Also I'm hearing you should cover it in foil. Would it be better covered? I can't wait to taste this thing
Ingredients & Measurements:
12lb ham (spiral or not is up to you)

Put a slice bread in bag. In brown sugar closed tight. Your see next use your sugar you’ll see soft . .it works.
I use marshmallows 😄
Wow it looks delicious 😋 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much it tasted amazing

Happy Thanksgiving thank you❤
Same to you!

Yes ! I Love you Glazed Miami Florida 🌴👍
Excellent video!!!
THAT LOOKS SO GOOD!! How long did you cook it total? I noticed that the package said to cook it 12-15 minutes per pound. That was a 12 llb ham. Did you cook it nearly 3 hours or less than that???
i think the 12-15 per pound is for a lower temp so by raising the temp you need less time
She cooked it 1 hr at 350 then 8 min at 450
Is it ok if I don't have both the nutmeg and allspice? Or are there other things I could use
Sorry Im so late replying! Use what you have! The Brown sugar and honey will balance it out.... a little cinnamon wont hurt either!
I used a brush to get all that goodness deep inside those slices.
I just made your recipe 😋
This may be a stretch but could I use syrup if I don’t have honey?
I don't have pineapple or honey😪
That looks sooooo good 🥰
What to do with the leftover glaze in the casserole? Just throw away?
ooooo i'm telling the fam i'm making the ham this year

I top with ring pineapple slices & cherries with a tooth pick plus use some whole cloves for flavoring. 😋

Can I do this without honey?! Or it won’t taste the same? 😩
Maple syrup.
So I'm a total beginner. I see you didn't follow the "x amount of time per lbs" formula. That's OK to do? The ham I have is 16 lbs bit bigger than yours. Also I'm hearing you should cover it in foil. Would it be better covered? I can't wait to taste this thing
