Great video! Sure makes me want to return in 2025! Glad we finally got to meet each other in person and spend some time together. Not sure why this video made you look so much taller than me though. Keep up the great work. -Steve-
@TargetFocusedLife Didn't expect to see both my favorite shotgun youtubers in one video but I'm pleasantly surprised, love both of your guy's content!!!
Jonny and Sasha thank you both for a great National’s video. I would you both have to take a lot of credit for 500 new shooters and the growth the sport has had.
I'm 1 of the 500. He's the reason I signed up for Nationals and Shot in 2024. I was fascinated after watching the 2023 nationals video he made so I signed up.
This was my first year at Nationals…had a great time and am already signed up for next year. I had the opportunity to meet Johnny and Sasha one evening, we talked for over an hour, shared a few beers, and they are genuinely awesome dudes. It was a pleasure meeting y’all.
Haven’t seen this video yet but I certainly will later this evening to the company of a Spaghetti Bolognese and a tall glass of red wine. What an awesome Wednesday. 👌😎💪
I truly enjoyed every minute of this video. I am no way at a level to compete in that arena but I love a day at the range and just love the when the clay breaks, what a thrill. Thank you.
Man what a great video as always I’ve really gotten the sporting clay bug watching your videos. I was in the middle of a Photoshoot in the desert today when I got the notification it was up……..couldn’t wait to get back to the campground to watch it. Thanks for all the hard work
Great video Jonny. Two observations. Firstly Brandon Powell, at present the best sporting clays shot in the world and George Digwood the 28 times world champion, both use 'swing through' method to break their targets. This is a method that is not taught by many coaches. However, results speak for themselves. Secondly Todd Hitch is one of the top professional sporting clays shot in the U.S.A. He uses a Longthorne shotgun, a gun you will know a lot about.
Method isn't taught by many coaches because it's one of those methods that very few can actually master naturally without forcing it. My instructor John Woolley is an 8 time world champ and only uses pull away or sustain lead. Along with the 8 time world champions he has 12 gold medals.
Brilliant video, extremely informative, I’m going to look into 2026, I would’ve been shooting 3 years then. Is it worth taking your gun, or can you hire when out there ? What’s the best in your opinion?
I don’t care how many people I piss off in the process. That, coming from Brandon Powell, is no surprise. He’s been doing that since he was a teenager. Fantastic talent, but that’s where it ends.
Im new to sporting clays, but I can’t figure out why that mentality rubs so many people the wrong way. I mean I know it’s supposed to be a gentleman’s sport and all, but at the end of the day it just seems like he’s a competitor being competitive. But what do I know. I don’t know him.
With Brandon you gotta give it right back. Crazy talent but outside of competition seems to be a great guy. Little secret do not let people get inside that head for free.
I always love NSCA nationals, but I just watched a Winchester video where they said the Grand American (World Trapshooting Championships) was the world's largest clay shoot. Any idea how they compare, in terms of number of shooters, spectators, etc.?
The Grand is quite a bit bigger with close to 4000 shooters this year (some previous years have had close to 6000), more vendors, a larger venue, international participation and so forth. Plus it's been going on for 125 years vs 35 years for Nationals...but...NSCA Nationals feels like a bigger show, if that makes sense. More entertainment, more celebrity, more excitement.
why did the two at least guns being used not get explained? and what chokes and cartridges please? love the channel but in later years the details are getting sparse.this was the great attraction when TSG first started.Jonnys attention to detail and his in depth knowledge.
The Grand American had 3058 shooters this year at the world shooting complex in Sparta IL. So how are they saying that's the largest sports shooting event in the world? Over 4 million targets thrown.. all age groups and people from all over the world.
Wow national champion and he still dosent know how to carry the gun properly and still closes the gun with his finger on the trigger. Welcome to America 🇺🇸
TFL and TGS together, didn't have that on my 2024 bingo card. I like TFL, but his extremist views the last few years have turned me away from some of his videos.
Curious as to what you think TFL’s extremist views are. I watch him all the time and I have only heard him get political once. And given who the governor in his home state is, I understand why he spoke up.
I'm not even in the US and I haven't shot in ages, but this video has just reignited the fire in me - thanks for that!

Very well done! Absolutely one of the best produced video’s I have seen.
Completely agree.

Nice work Johnny (and Sasha)! This was our first year at the nationals, already registered for 2025, and bringing friends!
Haven’t seen this video yet but I certainly will later this evening to the company of a Spaghetti Bolognese and a tall glass of red wine.
What an awesome Wednesday. 👌😎💪
The Nationals is a great time. It was wonderful meeting you there. Fantastic video as usual
That comb over is the best in the world.
I truly enjoyed every minute of this video. I am no way at a level to compete in that arena but I love a day at the range and just love the when the clay breaks, what a thrill. Thank you.
You will have a great time there though!! Well worth the effort to attend!!!
Great job Johnny!!!
Very well done. You guys are putting out some of the best content available. Keep up the great work.
Thank you Johnny, very fun to watch!
Wowza! This was an epic showcase of the NSCA! I was blown away, and you made it sound like even a total newbie like me would have a blast.
It’s a real party, worth the annual trip for sure
Excellent work, Johnny .
Great presentation. Merica! Your need to jump ship to the land of freedom!
Really enjoyed watching this. Thank you for taking us along on the journey.
Glad you enjoyed it
Jonny nicely done, and nice to meet you at this event. Im sure Ill see you again in 2025. It was a great shoot.
I enjoyed you talking to Mr Chadwick as much as anything. He’s a great fellow !
Another epic production, and great event😊

I love this. Yeehaa 😊😊
Outstanding again johnny and the team, really enjoyed watching it.
Thank you, Jonny, for another amazing video. Great coverage!
Great job, as always, Johnny and Sasha!!!
Great movie to watch! A smile on my face the entire movie 💪🏻
Thank you!! Absolutely loved this video - so well done!!
Great video!! It was a pleasure to watch.
Good break down of green 1starting at :47. Lots of talk on podcasts about it. That insight from the setter himself summed it up best.
Glad I got to meet you this year!!! Great video and keep up the great work!!
Epic show Johnny, wow.
This video is remarkable, one of the best ever - Thanks Jonny
Brilliant video mate you just gotta love Texas and the people there! 👏👏👏

Excellent vlog, very well covered, thank you.
Excellent job, I enjoy all of the NSCA videos. Can't wait for 2025.
Awesome video!!! It was nice talking to you. Keep up the great work!!
That man Brandon Powell is a monster
Great video Jonny.
Awesomeness.
Can't believe that was an hour video, it passed so quickly. Excellent. Hopefully there will be videos on the zoli kolar that you shot?
Just getting started in this sport. Enjoy watching your videos. Ordering new guns soon.
What a great video, Johnny! Interested to see what you thought of the Kolar you shot on the orange course.
I wanna go 🙌
Hey, you learned how to do the slappy flappy thing with the ejected shells!!
I’m discovered it takes too many brain cells for me to do it!
I have to attend this event.
Looks awesome. What sort of cost is involved for entry and registration. Wish they could do something like that in Australia
That Beretta cap with the red logo when going around the green course. Does anyone know is it available anywhere for purchase?
I met Brandon at the world's 5- Stand 100 targets @ M&M's What a down to earth Gentleman...
See you at the US OPEN at Providence Hill.
Neil at the end said it best, Jonny sucks! Great video gents!
Another great video. Might have to go there in a few years and do the SxS event. Is there a prize for last?
Brilliant video, extremely informative, I’m going to look into 2026, I would’ve been shooting 3 years then.
Is it worth taking your gun, or can you hire when out there ?
What’s the best in your opinion?
I know it’s a big ask but I would love you see you have a shot at Olympic skeet.
I’ve gotta ask! Because well the experience alone will be worth it. Can us south Oxfordshire lads enter and travel over the pond?
what chokes do u use
When you do this shoot or one where you don't use your own gun could you let us know which shotgun/s your using? Thanks.
That hat looks good on you
Better than your cowboy boots anyway
The Grand American trap shoot gets more entries.
have you ever been to shotshow?? the biggest gun show there ever is!
Where can one watch the live stream?
@tgs can you let us know next year ! Thanks
oh dear god i flopped on station ten green.

I’ve met Brandon, he’s actually pretty nice once you get to know him and has that mentality to not let other competitors get in his head.
you should have bought your shorts in the us lol
