Thank all of you for watching and I hope you learn something from my 40+ years of shooting experience that I felt compelled to give back to the sport. As for the comments relating to Anthony interrupting me please understand the correct context of his "interruptions". I felt Anthony was the best person for the job to help me get all of my most important information into words for viewers. I do not view this as rude or interrupting, but trying to be clear with the question at hand. Until this roundtable previous interviews have not highlighted as many important topics related to my technical and mental game as Anthony helped me bring to you. While I agree a few of the interruptions could have been avoided, they were done with the intention of bringing the correct understanding to shooters of all experience levels and in a way that shooters from all over the world could listen and understand. Anthony's 25 years of time on the range teaching helped me answer the questions that many shooters often have. I am happy with how the roundtable interview turned out and I hope that you can learn something from the information that I was now ready to share with you. The Mental Game and Technique comparison video course that is now for sale offers more specific details about my technical and mental game and the shooting footage includes: patented laser tracking technology, shotKam, night shooting, flash targets, over the shoulder footage and live competition footage. I will also be releasing two video courses that I did alone without Anthony that you will not want to miss. This roundtable and videos will likely be my last so I wanted to 100% to you all and I think we accomplished my goal. Thanks George
You are a role model, not only in shooting but in your example of how a role model should handle, in this case not criticism of yourself but your fellow competitor. My comment was in jest . Thank you and Anthony.
Fabulous video. I enjoyed it immensely. Where can I get a copy of "It's Got to be Perfect"? Thanks George. Are you shooting the North American FITASC at Northbrook this summer the week before the Worlds?
I love to hear from you all the time and we are so grateful that these videos are available to us through social media and UA-cam. I'm an average shooter I shoot only on game birds but since I have started to listen to you and adopted your way of shooting I have improved massively. in my country, there are no grounds for practice so i love to apply your techniques on game shooting pigeons, ducks, partridge and other that we have in our country (pakistan) I love you not only because you are the best shot in the world without a shadow of a doubt but you are a great ambassador of the sport and you are giving back a piece of yourself to this sport. please keep sharing your videos I love them!
3/11-I just started this grand sport at the age of 68. I have Anthony’s book and video series. They help me a lot! I know this video will help as well as it points out some things happening that I did not fully understand. It all helps in the end, as well as MORE TARGETS! Thank you both!
I could listen to George all day ,great ambassador for shooting ! Needs more recognition for his achievements here in the uk !! Thanks for sharing the video 👍
All of the interviews with Mr. Digweed- He proves you don't need an elaborate mental routine, at least outward showing. I do wish Anthony would not talk over george as much, maybe nervous conversation but noticeable. Overall great information.
Favourite part of the video for me was George’s formula for winning. “Hit all of the targets you should be hitting and as many of the hard targets as you can” So true this is how you build a score can’t afford to miss the easy ones. Thank you both for taking the time to make this video. ❤
Phenomenal shared and crazy humble experience from George Digwell 😃🚀 Anthony, please ask a single question, then maybe listen… ;-) Nice work however !!
Excellent content and production. This is easily the best Digweed interview I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen many. The real respect Anthony and George have for each other shines through clearly, it shapes the content and interactions perfectly - like no other Digweed interview ever has. I can’t wait to see the other videos. Great work Chris.
Absolutely one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen. Great content for every shooter. Extremely interesting, I love his ideas about the importance of balance. The guy has extreme logic and common sense and probably a photographic memory.
So much to soak up in this interview. Incredible reveal of Georges' technique, and approach to his every shot. Just incredible interview. Great job to two great gentlemen. Thanks Anthony and George.
The way George was taught re the safety aspect was EXACTLY the way I was introduced to shooting. I used to help a water keeper on a private syndicate where the fishermen fly fished for trout on an extensive system of rivers just on the North of Winchester, UK. and he (Joe) was keen for me to learn to shoot. I did carry a gun, that being a 12 gauge, for about a whole year, and again, like George, having to religiously observe the safety rules without the gun EVER being loaded! Good training!
Great insight and discussion from two of the best. For those being critical of Anthony's interview style, the unique dynamic you are seeing here may have to do with George and Anthony's very different geographical and cultural backgrounds. Folks from the East Coast of the States (NJ/NY/Eastern PA) tend to speak quickly, anticipate the next point and jump ahead in conversations. From what I know of those from the UK, they tend to be more measured and listen more. No right or wrong here, just a very interesting mix.
Totally agree, in my opinion Anthony was so keen to ensure the audience gained as much insight into George’s career. Two legends of the sport. All the best from Scotland 🏴 GD
Thank you Anthony for bringing this amazing interview to our lives here in the good old USA. Investing your time and effort in order to educate and enlighten the Sporting Clays community shooters, with an opportunity to perhaps give hope to all for a better future in the game. You as an accomplished World level competitor being humble enough to invite and interview another World level accomplished competitor, speaks volumes of your high level of integrity and professional demeanor. A very Grand Congratulations is deserved here to be extended to you by the Sporting Clays Community, especially from all here in the US.!!! We are all Blessed to have you in our Lives.
This was great. Thanks for putting this together. Lots of insight from 2 of the absolute best. Can’t wait to see George Shoot at the World Sporting Championship in May
Amazing interview hearing the best in the world laying out his past and his journey to present time. It is very frustrating wanting to hear the interview with Anthony constantly interrupting him before he can answer the question that takes him 5 minutes of talking about himself to ask. Maybe someone from Texas with a little more courtesy and respect should have performed the interview. With all that being said, Anthony touched a lot of good points to get technical answers from George. Well done Gents!!!
Thanks for this video and can’t wait for what is to follow. This is something that really needed to be done. Getting the thoughts of the winningest shooter in the sport.
My sentiments exactly. It's very frustrating & builds to infuriation waiting for George to answer, with that bloody Matarese continually interrupting with those rambling, half answered questions. Matarese needs some tutelage in patient listening.
This was a great video. Enjoyed every minute. Anthony did a good job but I wish he would have let George complete his thought more often. He sort of reminded me of Hannity! LOL Anyway, thanks to both of you for a very informative and enjoyable video.
Thanks for the info. my mind is spinning with all this info. George can you please do a video on game shooting and how you approach a peg, to shot pheasants. or better please write a book. Thanks again Regards Alan Robinson
You are constantly interrupting George to put your personal spin on the questions you are asking George. George was so patient with this constant interruption!!!
Thanks for that guys , excellent work . George are you going o do a reprint / update of your book ? Someone borrowed mine and it disappeared . Cheers Dunc
Hi Anthony, you have been randomly selected to win free access to George's streaming course. Please email me at contact@claxtonproductions.com so I can get you set up.
Super video. I thought 3 hours would have been a stretch, but after watching, I wished it was even longer. Thanks. Where can I buy a copy of It's Got to Be Perfect ? Are any still available? Thanks again.
Let the man speak, the interviewer was a terrible distraction. He would literally ask 7 questions, waffle around for 5 minutes then ask a new question, before George could speak. George on the other hand had amazing patience with a bad interviewer . George on the other hand always amazing.
You are spot on with your comment, it could have been cut down to a 1 hour video if he let George talk and not waffle on with his questions, by the time he’d finished I’d forgotten what the question was.
my goodness …he still, wouldn’t let George respond can’t believe how unconscious the interviewer is of how disrespectful and off putting and unproductive his dominance of the interview is
At 6:18 Anthony says to George up front "if you don't mind that I interrupt you..." as they begin the Q&A. George is fine with it. This isn't David Frost or Charlie Rose for chrissakes, give him a break.
Holy crap, you can’t expect a guy to hear 50 questions and remember an answer them all you should’ve had a script and you should’ve only given him a couple of things at once not well done, especially towards a person of George’s caliber. He deserved better.
Hi anthony, two things , you are a better shot than intervieuwer , the amount of time you spend on this video answering the question you just asked George yourself was cringeworthy to see, because of this you talked at least one third of the intervieuw about yourself, a missed change to get more out of this intervieuw with the geat master. Second thing i would have loved to hear from George his opinion about the other shooting techniek , which applies for the less talented amoungst us ( read 75 % ) how to hit game or clay targets with some sort of barrel awareness instead of purely shooting instinctively wise . If you shoot instinctively ( seeing no lead pictures due to the absence of where the barrel is when you pull the trigger ) like the majorety of us the tuition that people like George and so many other top shots give do not make sence to the averaged shot. As we all know we cannot transfer, buy , or rent talent from super talented sportsman like George, or tennisplayers like Federer . In this contest you should have a look at the very best video on this sublect so far ever made by TGS instinctive shooting 101! With former world champion fitasc 2014 Ed Solomons , anyway you have at least one very import question for George the next time you intervieuw hem, and do not try to answer this question before he does 😉 bye for now, Marcus de Koff from the Netherlands
I’ve only watched about 10-15 minutes of the whole video (but what I’ve gathered so far) Anthony at the beginning basically said he was gonna butt in and ask him questions so it was gonna be interactive and we could follow the timeline of his early years. And that’s a pretty lengthy comment so his interruptions must of really got to you, all I can say is set up your own production team with Chris Claxton himself, bring George in for however many weeks and let’s see your interview with him sir.
I agree, he never lets up, talks and talks and just “stop” and limit your questions and let George talk more. I frankly turned this video off with his pointless comments.
Tony Boy shut up. Johnny carson said let his guest do what thay do. Stop interupting this man. I d like to hear what he had to say. Painfull to try to watch. You probably never heard of me cause ive never heard of you.
What is it with Americans contually interrupting with 10 part, semi answered questions? I thought Materase was supposed to be interviewing George. The ruination of what could have been a good interview.
You talk too much Anthony, PLS let Sir George finish his words, it is very impolite to interrupt George time and time again , it is a horrible interviews Anthony didn’t even realize how rude you are.

George is an amazing ambassador to the sport! Vey kind with his time and knowledge.
I always suspected the GOAT was a very patient man. This interview proves it. Having said that, i really enjoyed it. Thank you Anthony and George.
One of...if not...The Greatest Sportsman ...THE UK HAS EVER PRODUCED.
It`s about time he was recognised as such.
I could listen to George all day ,great ambassador for shooting !
Needs more recognition for his achievements here in the uk !!
Thanks for sharing the video 👍
I think they both did a great job. It’s more of a conversation between 2 pros than an interview.
All of the interviews with Mr. Digweed- He proves you don't need an elaborate mental routine, at least outward showing. I do wish Anthony would not talk over george as much, maybe nervous conversation but noticeable. Overall great information.

Brillant video well done to both. George is simply the best.👏👏👏👏
Always a pleasure to listen to Mr Digweed
Outstanding interview by two terrific experts. Thank you.
Brilliant interview. Thanks George for sharing such important information. One of Britain's finest..👍
What a great interview should be on mainstream television

fantastic to listen to this interview and it applies to more than just shooting. Great interview
Great interview always nice to hear the pros talk
Such great information ,Great questions from Mr Matarese on whats going on in the mind of Mr digweed. Looking forward to more Thanks
Thank you. Much respect for each of you. I truly appreciate the time and effort put into this.

Anthony, all due respect, LET THE MAN TALK!!! FFS! You make Americans look bad. Most Americans ask a question then listen without interrupting.
you probably make yourself look bad

Thanks Ant. Good stuff.
Fantastic interview . 👍👍
Thanks for that guys , excellent work . George are you going o do a reprint / update of your book ? Someone borrowed mine and it disappeared . Cheers Dunc
George appears to be a polite and patient man.
For someone being interrupted constantly i´d say VERY patient!
great interview two great shots
Hi Anthony, you have been randomly selected to win free access to George's streaming course. Please email me at contact@claxtonproductions.com so I can get you set up.
Absolutely superb
Super video. I thought 3 hours would have been a stretch, but after watching, I wished it was even longer. Thanks. Where can I buy a copy of It's Got to Be Perfect ? Are any still available? Thanks again.
Priceless
Wish you would do this interview over again and let George answer the questions without the repeated repeated interruptions.
"They shot 4 birds and you hit 8". My favorite comment of the interview.
Let the man speak, the interviewer was a terrible distraction. He would literally ask 7 questions, waffle around for 5 minutes then ask a new question, before George could speak. George on the other hand had amazing patience with a bad interviewer . George on the other hand always amazing.

Let the man speak 😯
George Digweed Mental Game & Technique Comparison available now at: digital.claytargetinstruction.com/courses/
1:48 he was about to call George ‘the best shooter in the world’ then had to check himself 😂😂😂
Interesting thought at 1:50:34 when you tell us that by shooting swing through you give yourself a 50% advantage.
That was absolutely brilliant well done gentlemen
Great stuff 👍👍
Great!!!!!!
Jesus let the man answer the questions.
Stop interrupting!!!
Yes let him speak
why ask a question and then waffle for ten minuets let the man answer ?
Who has Anthony interviewed? Himself 🤷♂️ get in there G👍
The elephant in the room being George's ever increasing weight. You need to get in shape George, ASAP.
At 6:18 Anthony says to George up front "if you don't mind that I interrupt you..." as they begin the Q&A. George is fine with it. This isn't David Frost or Charlie Rose for chrissakes, give him a break.

Brilliant interview 👍
What was the advice from the rugby player at 5.10.
Holy crap, you can’t expect a guy to hear 50 questions and remember an answer them all you should’ve had a script and you should’ve only given him a couple of things at once not well done, especially towards a person of George’s caliber. He deserved better.
Anthony will learn as he gets older and gets more muture let George talk all George has is complete confidence hes so different than most shooters
very interesting content, only the interviewer has to work on his patience , he is interrupting way to often
perfect
C'était très intéressant dommage qu'Anthony parle trop et coupe souvent la parole à Georges
Curious about the worms mentioned

he's talking about Pietro Mastroeni
a very good interviw , but A very frustrating interviwer.
Anthony is not great as an interviewer! He butts in too much! Let George finish what he is going to say. George is just superhuman! What a great shot!
George Digweed must be the most patient man in the world, this guy Anthony is totally spoiled the interview by trying to sound clever.
This was a conversation not an interview.
Sounds more like an interrogation than an interview.
Let him answer the questions! I had to stop listening.. drove me crazy!

Great video, guys, but FFS George, as a medic get a grip on your weight. I worry about you, man:-))
Less Anthony and more George would be good.
Not forget Antonio Matarese olsou great guys 👍💪
George was just about to address a swing though when you feel your gun is getting too fast and was interrupted. Uh!!
best of british. fly the flag high! cheers from hungary.
Anthony is so bad at interviewing anybody he doesn't let people talk he wants the limelight very rude
At some points it takes patience to let the interviewer finish his overly long questions and interruptions. Diggers did well.
What is it with Americans contually interrupting with 10 part, semi answered questions?
