Construction time-lapses w/closeups (compilation): Week 90 of the Ⓢ-series

- Week 90 in the ongoing Ⓢ series, which follows the construction of a new 13-story senior living building in San Francisco. This is a #construction #timelapse compilation with time lapses and various closeups at various speeds, from the one-week period of October 18-24, 2021, condensing the week's activities into about 40 minutes.
This is the first episode in a long time without any work on the fin. It contains crane action from two different cranes. The larger crane is lifting air handling equipment to the roof. My understanding is that this would have been done back when the tower crane was still here, but the equipment was delayed by the pandemic. (Note that the larger crane is not at all at its maximum height, not even using the last extension, which remains on the truck.) The smaller crane is installing art (sculpture?) at the new bus stop in front of the building.
Also this week: the 4th wettest day (amount of rainfall in one day) ever in San Francisco's entire recorded history. Sunday got 4.02 inches of rain in a single day. San Francisco on average gets about 24 inches of rain annually, so that was 1/6 of San Francisco's entire normal annual rainfall in one day. Unfortunately, no major storms have followed since then, so California is still in a severe drought situation.
There's a fair amount of material in this episode that isn't directly related to the building construction, but I'm including it anyway. Hope you enjoy the episode. There is plenty of material for more episodes, but at this time I don't know yet when the next one will be. Will keep you informed.

Hello and good morning to all friends of the Hospital Construction Channel. I'm looking forward to the latest episodes today. Many greetings to all of you and especially to Hospital Construction.-001

Hello everyone end good morning thanks for the all worker's of the hospital very nice hand of angels 🇩🇿🙏🏥🙏
The air handling equipment is the aftertreatment system for the exhaust from the diesel
Generator !!
That was great, love the sign (quit spying) 🤣🤣
Since they are on week 90 and still have a lot to do, I’m guessing they go at least 14 more weeks and thus two years. I have to imagine that the pandemic really delayed the construction and the continued supply chain issues aren’t letting them catch up any. I imagine that the developer is paying out the nose, not only with the extra interest on their construction loans, but in extra labor costs, higher prices, and material shortages leading to higher priced substitutes. Tough time to be in the construction business…or any business really.m
How much did they waste on the "art"?
Good morning everyone, i am coming from Hong Kong
Guest appearance from Post 10.......😂

Keep spying !
Bonjour du 🇨🇦. 👍👍👍
The Never Ending construction
👍👍👍
I wonder how much money they wasted on the repurposed bent scafolding they call "art". I also wonder if it might have been cheaper to erect some bus shelters, instead.
It's Pelosi's San Fran...what else would you expect from the Artsy Fartsy elite?
@@Chromedome38 No idea, since I don't live there.
19:04 - The time stamp in the lower left corner rolled from 12 pm to "11 pm".
A typo. And not the only one in this video, actually.
11:05 Heat exchanger for the HVAC system?
Exhaust aftertreatment for the diesel generator !!
does anyone know what kind of crane manufacturer that is? I have never seen a crane where the boom is in this way on a trailer.
Most hydraulic cranes have the ability to carry the boom on a dolly to meet weight restrictions.
@@pfdx yes, on an extra trailer, I know it from the larger Liebherr cranes. but not so that it is not dismantled.
@@nighteyergbg In this case it's on a dolly which is supporting a large portion of the boom weight without separating the two. It's far more efficient to use a dolly because the operator doesn't have the time commitment to assemble the machine at every jobsite. This looks like a Liebherr but Grove, terex, and Demag have all use the technique since the 80's
Hiç bir hiç eften büften şeyler bir yakınına gidip çekim yapsana
