Love your videos! THANK YOU for sharing your knowledge and experience! I'm transitioning to hand therapy after 37 years in other areas of OT, so lots to review and learn!!
@@HandTherapySecrets0 Yes, I'm with an OT who specializes in hands. I felt great confidence when the first thing he did was pull out the protocol book and went over it with me. I'm 17 days out from repair and being as patient & compliant as I can. I don't want to go back to square one!!
What's the full name of the protocol book you used in the video? BTW I love you're videos I'm a 2022 graduate getting ready for the NBCOT and a career in hands
Thanks for watching! There’s two protocol books that I recommend the Indiana hand or the evidence biased one by Elizabeth de herder. Good luck on the nbcot! Come back and let us know how it goes 😉
@@HandTherapySecrets0 that was one week ago, I still have a cast on, next week they'll remove the cast and i'll get the splint, i hope its not a bulky one and I already have an appointment with the hand therapist on april 12th. So if I had an zone I injury I can expect a short splint right?

This video was very helpful for me. It gave me a concrete & realistic understanding of what my recovery will entail. Excellent teacher. Thanks.
Great! Glad we can help. If you had the injury - it’s good to work with a certified hand therapist to help your progress :)
