I’ve actually been brainstorming a Rwby and Final Fantasy 10 crossover fanfic for quite sometime. It basically takes place after volume 8 but instead of them ending up in Ever After they end up in Spira before the events of the game instead with Team Rwby, Jaune, and Neo scattered in different areas. I haven’t started typing it yet but I do have a good idea where each character would be at. Yang ends up at the Baaj Temple before Tidus arrives in Spira, Blake ends up at Besaid Island found by Yuna, Weiss ends up at Luca, Jaune ends up in Bevelle but eventually joins the Chocobo Knights naming his Juniper, and Ruby and Neo end up at Bikanel where they get found by the Al Bhed.
Can y’all tell me the difference between both the Fanfiction story & the establish story(Rooster originally plan) of Rwby? Because I haven’t watch & know about the whole story of Rwby before it all ended on a cliffhanger & Rooster closure.

Viz media just acquired the rights to RWBY, it was announced today, now there isn’t any announcements on when or where the series will be available to be watched nor if and when volume 10 is in production but technically RWBY is alive
Which is understandable why they haven't announced Vol 10. The new studio, despite having worked with RT in the past, either have to learn the animation for RWBY, or make their own animation. This'll take time, on top of what money they'll allocate, who they'll keep from CRWBY, and more. TLDR, don't expect any trailers or releases for awhile.

They didn't name who the buyers were as it was still early negotiations. So the removing from Crunchyroll was a actual process as the IP changed hands. Also the RWBY twitter dropped more tweets that they will be at Anime Expo too.
I watched Rwby recently and I’m interested in seeing where it goes. I’m not saying it’s the best anime or anything, I just enjoyed it a bit. I wanna see where it goes and hope for the best.

Just theory-crafting here but the RWBY anime was decently received. Given that WB has the rights now and just commissioned the SS Isekai anime, I could see them putting out another season of the anime and I wouldn't be upset about them moving the IP in that direction in general.
You could say that about pretty much most of the JP adaptations of western media. Not to say they’re creative (Isekais in the east are as stale as “progressive” american ideals in the west), but they know how to keep things relatively fun. “It’s not me, IT’S THE WRITER’S FAULT!”

Viz Media just announced that they’re the new owners of RWBY and I think the albums will be back on music streaming apps under Viz’s name in the future.
RWBY was going nowhere in terms of plot. It had spent several seasons wasted on slow, boring really pointless storylines that went nowhere.

RWBY is officially owned by Viz Media aka the company responsible for dubbing Bleach and Sailor Moon in English. Will Volume 10 happen? Time will tell.

Rwby peaked with the character intro trailers before the show even started.
Specifically the ones before they talked. I could not BELIEVE Rooster Teeth of all companies would have such terrible voice acting.
Some of the MultiVersus data mining suggest that Ruby could be added as a playable character, but also just as likely that these are red herrings.
Kinda wish RWBY was added to Fortnite as well. Their models would fit perfectly
If that happens, and I'm playing Multiversus at the time, I'm making Ruby players my priority targets.

Just theory-crafting here but the RWBY anime was decently received. Given that WB has the rights now and just commissioned the SS Isekai anime, I could see them putting out another season of the anime and I wouldn't be upset about them moving the IP in that direction in general.
You could say that about pretty much most of the JP adaptations of western media. Not to say they’re creative (Isekais in the east are as stale as “progressive” american ideals in the west), but they know how to keep things relatively fun.

RWBY HAS A NEW HOME! I cannot wait to see the fate of a very beloved show. RWBY was with me through highschool and the birth of both of my kids. This show means the world to me, and I’m so glad it’s future is bright
Seriously, though, I was considering to catch up on RWBY with a free trial over the summer-I have not done that yet as I had to watch other things to make the most of it-I was not told that Rooster Teeth's discontinuation would nuke them off from Crunchyroll eventually and I am not even certain if UA-cam may become reliable with the takedowns going around.
Everything but the original crew should be the buying condition as well as start over from scratch
