But got eliminated at the 2nd group test Past that there was only the English test and the final interview, so I was caught at the very end, which is really frustrating. But I'm definitely going to try again at the end of October.

Yes they are a little, it is important to not be for example too skinny or too obese. You need to be in the normal range of BMI. They will eventually do a medical check and you need to fit in it the normal range! I am putting together all the materials in an ebook so I can show you how to calculate your BMI!
Then just cover the scars with a little make up! It is completly fine and possible and they will not minde, the mole also will not be a problem if it is average size! best of luck

I was wondering if the CV needs to be in Emirates colours or is it okay if not? Also if a photo on it is crucial and if so is a short beard okay in the photo or should it be clean shaven photo?
Yeah I think all of that doesn't matter in the slightest, I just finished my open day and they cut me in the first group activity, I presented myself well and was dressed for the occasion, while others that spoke with broken grammar or got stuck because of nervousness, or people that came in with pants/shoes that weren't like the ones asked passed. Makes 0 sense.
@@NadiaMinds I don't know if they passed afterwards no, but it wasn't an instant no which means that they were considering them as actual candidates. Otherwise they'd be out. I did well, it was nothing really, I just discussed with my group(she wasn't even close so she couldn't listen what we were discussing), and presented myself, granted I meet the minimum 1 year of work on the service sector that's required but still, and yes I did all the things like saying "my group and I" etc, while others did not. Always with a smile on my face, generally I think the process is pretty random looks like.

Yes it is important to have one year of experience in customer service or hospitality, the open day depends on the country you live in. It can be every 2 weeks or only once a month. You can check where they have open days in their website Emirates Careers ✨

You don’t need a certificate just if they call the store they can say that you worked there but they shouldn’t call, they will see if you have customer service experience
Hi! Thank you for this invaluable video! There is an open day near my area next month, which I'm hoping to attend. One of my concern is my weight. I workout a lot in the gym and have gained somewhat a bodybuilding physique over the 2 years of lifting. I'm a guy btw 😅, I have fairly wide shoulders and big upper body. For reference, I am 5ft9 and 92kg, whereas the healthy weight for this height is usually in the range of 68-75kg. Do you think I will be marked down for this when the recruiters are grading the applicants? Thanks
I've watched the video presentation carefully and you didn't touched my biggest concern. The age limit ( if it is exist any). I am reaching 50 years old. And if couse i do not have the freshiest appearance, the brightest immaculate white teeth and all those things related to let's call it " The golden ages". So my question is: They are looking for " a supermodel good looking appearance"? Did I'm wasting my time applying for it ?
Unfortunately I don’t think they go beyond 35 years old max. It doesn’t mean you cannot be cabin crew. This is just their policy. Other companies in the cabin crew industry accept all ages

Hey! I took my pictures at home, but you can take them with a photographer, if the open day is open is not necessary! They will take other pictures anyways if you make it till the end! You can edit them a little, no problem but bear in mind that they will take other pictures ✨

Hello! How big is your mole? And the scars? Is it possible to conceal the scars with makeup?

Yeah I think all of that doesn't matter in the slightest, I just finished my open day and they cut me in the first group activity, I presented myself well and was dressed for the occasion, while others that spoke with broken grammar or got stuck because of nervousness, or people that came in with pants/shoes that weren't like the ones asked passed. Makes 0 sense.
But you do not know if they passed afterwards, are you sure you did nothing wrong? How did you do the first group activity?
@@NadiaMinds I don't know if they passed afterwards no, but it wasn't an instant no which means that they were considering them as actual candidates. Otherwise they'd be out. I did well, it was nothing really, I just discussed with my group(she wasn't even close so she couldn't listen what we were discussing), and presented myself, granted I meet the minimum 1 year of work on the service sector that's required but still, and yes I did all the things like saying "my group and I" etc, while others did not. Always with a smile on my face, generally I think the process is pretty random looks like.

Yes it is important to have one year of experience in customer service or hospitality, the open day depends on the country you live in. It can be every 2 weeks or only once a month. You can check where they have open days in their website Emirates Careers ✨

Hi! Thank you for this invaluable video! There is an open day near my area next month, which I'm hoping to attend. One of my concern is my weight. I workout a lot in the gym and have gained somewhat a bodybuilding physique over the 2 years of lifting. I'm a guy btw 😅, I have fairly wide shoulders and big upper body. For reference, I am 5ft9 and 92kg, whereas the healthy weight for this height is usually in the range of 68-75kg. Do you think I will be marked down for this when the recruiters are grading the applicants? Thanks

I've watched the video presentation carefully and you didn't touched my biggest concern. The age limit ( if it is exist any). I am reaching 50 years old. And if couse i do not have the freshiest appearance, the brightest immaculate white teeth and all those things related to let's call it " The golden ages". So my question is: They are looking for " a supermodel good looking appearance"? Did I'm wasting my time applying for it ?
Unfortunately I don’t think they go beyond 35 years old max.
It doesn’t mean you cannot be cabin crew. This is just their policy.
Other companies in the cabin crew industry accept all ages

Hey! I took my pictures at home, but you can take them with a photographer, if the open day is open is not necessary! They will take other pictures anyways if you make it till the end! You can edit them a little, no problem but bear in mind that they will take other pictures ✨
