This is good to know now you don't need to go to mechanic for an oil change you can do it yourself.

This is standard basic maintenance every car owner should know and do. Been doing my own oil changes for 9 years, saves money.

I use to change my own oil. Than it became more expensive than taking it to a quick oil change shop!

How many mm is the key you removed the oil filter from?

Thanks for the video. My vehicle is a 2014 Renault Trafic LWB van. I tried this but could not get the oil filter off. It is so tight I can't remove it with any of my spanners. I would like to buy a metal filter housing but can't find one. Does anyone know if a metal filter housing is available somewhere?

I don't think there is a metal filter but if I'm wrong and if he knows I would be grateful to write here.

The case for the filter is made of plastic on my 2014 Renault Trafic. Whoever fitted this filter made it much too tight. All my spanners slip off.
