One thing I will say is double lodges are more efficient then triple. Two triple lodges cost 70 logs and hold 18 beavers, three double lodges cost 60 logs and hold 18 beavers Edit: space wise doubles are only more efficient if you are planning on placing two triples, if you plan on placing just one triple, it is better to
I think it would look more stable when you alternate on which end the double and triple lodges are, so it looks like brickwork. (And you can alternate 2 triple lodges with 3 double ones.)
5:10 a tall tower build could need a side emergency staircase. a direct connection to the upper floors, will reduce the distance to the top floor = you can build even higher tower, until you reach max build height limit or distance to the district center. using dynamite do burrow a hole in the ground, would be adding under ground floors to the tower
That's actually clever =) Would need a bit of dynamite, but at a later stage you got enough of dynamite to reconstruct such building and use it to your advantage. Thanks for your comment so others can see that awesome hint =)

I was looking for a good looking way to make stairs to use my storage against my massive damn project but then i found how you used the roof to build the spiral stair
I like you found something useful to use from my videos. If you like to build upwards with even more small space, maybe check out my short "Ladder mod" or directly the Ladder Mod from tobbert. I love this mod and all others from him + many others very much.
So this is just a random thought but late game why not use the and lower it all under ground then rebuild what you need onto of it? Good use or space plus it's be fun to watch a crap ton of beavers poor from the ground like ants
Nothing is infinite as all of them require to be connected to a district and the range of a district is based on layer and path range even if you try to build upwards
That's absolutely true, also if the paths get too long, at some point it isn't efficient anymore to build vertical, instead it makes more sense to build nearby.
@@DerHouy simple solution would be to make the hauler's hut nearby (not on top coz you need those for decoration) and make sure haulers prioritize water pumps, water storage, food production buildings, farms and anything that needs attention first. Also making sure that farms prioritize planting makes everything more efficient as well Also allowing the
@@DerHouy you cn also use your hauling posts as your unit storage so you can accumulate extra peeps for when other die off and/or if you need new peeps on certain buildings for immediate attention. And yeah in economics the most important job is actually the transportation guys so production peeps can just concentrate on producing more and wasting less time on travel and stuff. Also another tip, make a lake, make big lake and block off the edge of the world if you have to coz come late game there's gonna be a drought that will last for more than 15 days...

I think if you increased the gap for the first design to three, you could fit in some nice decorative elements at each level between the paths for the lodges, also making it so the paths don't loop too hard
i think that decorations has an area of affect and not a sphere of effect ... so only one floor is needed to be decorated. i just place 1 block tall platform at the top of the run walk + a flower pot on that, to cover for ALL the lodges below it (in this case, 4 flower pots would cover all the lodges) and monuments can just be placed on the roof to cover the entire area

My 43 beavers just died T_T because I planned poorly and they starved to death , they went through rations like the rodents they are, half way through our 5th drought and 60% were gone by the time the time of Woe ended they also ended even the kits But I 'll make sure to built this in my next try
I tend to build a second district very fast, with only a small amount of beavers who can work at the water pump and forester + farm. This way you have always a second backup. I wish you more luck for the next try. You will make it =) Also have a nice weekend.
man this design looks like the famous ghetto in Italy that one in naples... the Scampia... that shit has exactly the same design. in Naples, they call it Third World.
